Best matching game I’ve found but some fixes needed

This is by far the best matching game I’ve found so far. I’ve been through so many of them! They all operate the same way - you play, do well, and get to levels you can only pass by buying your way through the game. That’s not a game. This game has great coders! They somehow give you passable screens, you build up coins and helping items and then when you get to the harder levels you have tools to help you get through them. Then a bunch of passable levels again after the harder ones. It’s awesome. You can also join a team and give each other lives and play for prizes. So when I do need to spend a little I don’t mind bc it’s not every screen.
The one thing I don’t like is how they fly the helps that you have earned into the screen. When you start a screen the items shouldn’t just fly in, they should be in a bubble you can randomly use on that screen. Sometimes when they fly in at the beginning they mess the whole flow of the screen up and you can’t pass it. Very frustrating.
Also, sometimes you get prizes like 30min or 60min of free play, meaning it will not stop after your 5 lives. It would be great if you could purchase 30min or 60min at any given time. This would be an AMAZING ADD!
Overall, great game though. : )

Only one tiny thing I don’t like

This game is espectacular... I really love it. The decorations are so beautiful and creative. It doesn’t have ads and I love it! The only thing that I don’t really like it’s that when you are finishing the first island they ask for 5 stars for almost every task... and yeah I like playing but personally I really like de decoration part... I think that 2 or maybe 3 stars are fine... sometimes it ask for 5 stars just for the animals talking to each other...

I’m adding here that there are people saying that the ads are misleading... for me the ads about the game are okay, it even says “build” it’s not a cooking game and in the ads it show choosing styles for the places not baking... other thing people are saying is that you have to use real money because it’s too hard sometimes and you need to buy boosters in order to play... I’m on level 868 (I’ve been playing for like a month and a half) and I haven’t spend nothing in the game... yeah sometimes it gets hard and you have to try a few times to pass the level, but that’s how games are.

FUN FUN & CUTE GAME!

I'm so addicted to this game!! I probably spend WAY too much time playing, but I just can't help it! I love the characters!! I would have to agree with another review about the "helps" it throws in when you start a new level. It does throw you off and in turn, it's harder to beat the level with them. It would be great if they were in a bubble and you can choose when to use them when you start a new level. I LOVE that you earn free unlimited lives for 30 & 60 minutes and at times 2 hours of unlimited lives!! The draw back from this, for me, is if you can't play for that long, it's gone 🙁 Sometimes, it's just automatic and no way to save it for a time when you can play. Overall, I DO enjoy this Sweet game and love to play!!

I Call False Advertising! >_<

Although the game is kind of fun at first because it’s very cute but it gets awfully repetitive! Not to mention the developers mislead you with their add for the game! They lead you to believe you actually get to have a part in the baking of the pastries like the cakes and such. In fact it’s really just a city builder game where you get to choose from 3 design styles for everything. There’s a catch however, because you can’t make any progress until you earn stars. To do this you have to play a object matching mini game where sometimes you have boosters to help you achieve your goals. Other times your left with nothing because it seems you never earn enough coins for boosters and helpful tools. So eventually you simply get stuck since you have limited moves in the mini game. You eventually can’t make any progress unless you spend real money in the game. The whole bakery has been built but I haven’t been able to create a single cake or cookie. The characters in the game do everything for you! Overall I’m extremely disappointed in this game! I am especially disappointed with the false advertising!!!

Repetitive

As a gamer I prefer consoles but I dabble in mobile games also. I like baking so I wanted a game that was similar and this was far from it. Overall the game is fun for awhile, I’ve had it about a week and I’m currently on level 250 made it without any in app purchases. You get 5 hearts that take 30 minutes each to refill and you can ask friends or teammates to help out. At first this game gave me joy and now I feel like it stresses me out more than anything. I like a good challenge but at the same time It makes zero sense to have unlimited lives for 2 hours for watching an Ad and you still can’t get past the level without using the side items. If you run out you have to pay for extra items which I refuse to do, I understand that most of these have an algorithm but the frustration isn’t worth it. You have over 1000 levels and it’s sad to say I won’t make it to see it. I’m already bored from playing the same level over and over and it’s even worse when you gotta wait and it can take 24-72 hrs to get to the next level. People like the reward of progression if you become stuck guess what SweetEscapes gets deleted, it was short but sweet.

FUN, GREAT GRAPHICS, BUT BEWARE

While the first 50 levels are great fun, the graphics are exceptionally cute, the levels are, as usual, easy to semi-difficult,
After that it is on every level meant to get your money. Different kinds of games which will at least make you need to buy more boosters. Out of every four to six levels it will require you to buy more help. There always seems to be a game that needs only one more helper and you don’t have it. The price of boosters goes up, but you don’t get more, and quite often they’re the ones you don’t need. Since you don’t know what a new level is like you don’t need boosters there, you need them during the game and one, once in awhile doesn’t really help. Give us a chance to buy a larger amount. I’ve played numerous games of this type, and admit this was one of the best. But being retired and on a limited income as soon as my boosters are gone so am I. And I’ll be sure to not start any others by you or play for the first time I need boosters and quit. You have great designers, but just too greedy.

Not what they promise

The long and short of it is this ends up the same as any other match 3 money grab. It’s all good and relaxed in the beginning. No stress. I enjoyed it enough to purchase a “season Pass” by way of support. Each action costs a star, The levels aren’t too hard, and if you don’t pass them, the second or 3rd time does the trick. Exactly as advertised. Until you get to around the 300 level mark, then it all changes and quickly. The levels become hard impassable without boosters and and/or buying extra moves, and they become so frequent that it is every 2nd or 3rd level you play, and the actions quickly jump to cost between 2 and 4 stars. It’s a Cute theme, until you get to the Dessert Island, then it becomes tedious and the new characters are downright annoying. The Islanders don’t even seem to care if the island is fixed or not, but Joy bunny just keeps on pushing. I’m at the point of quitting right now, don’t start this game if you are looking for a relaxing alternative to trying endlessly to pass hard levels, and build enough stars to complete any action.

Mislead by advertisement.

I really hate it when i see an advertisement for a game, and they make it look like it’s something completely different than what it is. This is one of those situations, on the advertisement (and i watched the whole thing) all it showed was putting different colored scoops of ice cream on different ice cream cones, making them all the same color on each cone. I have OCD (my symptoms are mild) so I thought it looked like a fun and pleasing game to play, so i downloaded it. And it’s not like that at all, there’s a bunny who you have to sit and listen to while she says 7000 different things before you can actually do anything, and it’s basically like another version of candy crush, but you’re using your energy to replace the bakery. I like the idea behind the game, but it’s not very fun and it’s not anywhere close to what I thought it would be, so I was very disappointed. If anyone actually takes the time to read this, please make sure your ads for the game actually describe the game instead of something that you can probably only do one time once you reach level 50.

Great game but unfortunate update

I have been playing this game for a long time and it has been so good for calming and distracting my mind. I do love this game as I have played almost 2500 levels, but the new update kind of ruined the peacefulness of the game for me. The play on rate went from 500 coins to 950 and for really no apparent reason. As I mentioned above I loved this game due to the calming nature and being able to play on in a stressful level so that I could move on to another level was always nice, but even at 500 coins it was not something you could do all the time. Now with 950 it is a lot harder to do as the coins don’t accumulate super fast. I was really disappointed for this update because it really removed some of the calming nature for me and instead left me a little frustrated. Overall I would still recommend this game if you like similar games. It is the best of the games like it, but it unfortunately doesn’t serve the original purpose I downloaded it anymore.

They cheat their players

This would be a good game if not for the fact that they cheat their players in a number of ways. 1.) If you click to skip the animations at the end of a level, you don’t get the measly 20 coins you earned. 2.) There is NO confirmation before spending these coins. I cannot say how many times I have been clicking fast, have the level end and accidentally spend 475 coins for 5 extra moves. And yeah, 475 to continue when you only earn 20 per beaten level is outrageous. I have contacted the support staff many times about this and they said the developers refuse to add in a confirmation for spending because it’s not profitable for them! UNBELIEVABLE. They want you to accidentally spend coins so you have to buy more. And you HAVE to buy more if you want to beat some of these levels. There are many that cannot be won unless you use several boosters AND buy extra lives. Also, having to spend 4 stars to clean up after Scoops is just stupid. I won’t support a game that doesn’t do right by their players.

So cute and sooo cool makes me want to eat!

The characters in this game are soooo adorable. Scoops and Joy are literally, SERIOUSLY LITERALLY adorable. The bakery is so amazing with great puzzles, and tasks. Like other people had said, they are addicted and so am I! The only thing is the unlimited lives. I would prefer to at least have the unlimited lives for 24 hours. Also, 24 hours would be enough time to if you can’t play for a while. You can keep it the same but one more suggestion. When you are not in SweetEscapes , could you save the time you had before you left please? That would be great. Keep up the good work on this game!

It’s your REAL money...

...that will get you thru this game. I actually enjoyed this game including the animated segments. The animated segments lead to various shop design options. I was offered & accepted a generous array of boosters for $0.99 (smaller booster packages were gifted periodically). After making that purchase, many more purchase invitations arrived. None were as inexpensive and I ignored/declined them all.

I was a reasonably good player, often near or at the top of the leaderboard. Regardless, I discovered that I would not be able to proceed without purchasing additional boosters. Alternatively, five (5) additional moves cost 950 game coins. At ~1000 coins, your coin stash won’t last long. It boils down to this: I honestly don’t really care about my score. OTOH, I definitely care about being able to proceed in a game without using real money. I deleted the game around level 180.

rigged and a waste of time!!!

i love the concept of the game and everything but what gets me so honking heated is that i will spend over 15-20 minutes on one level and only get like 5-8 coins. ONLY FIVE TO EIGHT COINS WHY!!!😐😭literally i should at least get like 15-20 coins. also the storyline is lowkey annoying, i feel like some tasks shouldn’t be so many stars when it’s just the characters talking to each other.
all i’m asking for is it to be easier to receive coins through levels. also, why is it so expensive to buy the tools, ex. the whip cream which gets rid of a row. it would be cool if there was a feature to watch an ad and receive these helpful tools or something like that. seriously it shouldn’t cost so much when you barely get coins from levels and to expect me to buy three whip creams for like 1,000 coins. i barely have a thousand coins because i’m always buying stuff😔

Still two stars

I am only given this game two stars because every time I try to play, I can only play for a couple of minutes before it crashes. I lose lives and game money when this happens. When I start the game again it always takes me back to the previous level. It is frustrating and according to the details on the game it is compatible with an iPad, which is what I am using. Please fix this! The game is really fun and cute to play.
It is too bad that nobody read this review as now the game crashes before I can even play. This is very annoying, you would think someone would read the reviews that are less than three stars to find out what problems others are having with the game. This is a cute and fun game to play when it doesn't crash. Oh well, guess they don't care after all.
PS. Shutting down and restarting the device doesn't work and neither does clearing the cache.

Not reliable major bugs no rewards

I’ve been playing a long time I really enjoy this game but there are so many bugs it’s not worth it . All the time and effort for nothing. From download errors to profile glitches everyday there is some kind of error.

They have removed the rewards that players received in order to make things fair ? Makes no sense . No free play no coin reward for team play . Purposely took away coin reward to see if players would purchase instead. many complaints and nothing is being done about it. Many players have already left the game because it’s not worth playing when you receive 25 coins per round to only 5 as an example. I’m losing play time because once again I’m locked out of the game due to download error . I do purchase coins when necessary but I’m not going to purchase them everyday when they purposely take them away to get players to purchase .

Was great until Level 99

This game is so adorable! I had a blast the first day decorating the two shops and the garden. Then I got to Level 99. I just can’t seem to beat it. I watched videos to look for tips but I’m not having any luck. It’s so frustrating!! Several times when I lost, I had the opportunity to watch a video for 3 more moves. However, the 2 times I actually managed to get to only one remaining square, no extra moves! I’m disabled and on a fixed income so I can’t spend money on boosters. It’s so frustrating to get stuck on one level~~especially when it’s for something insignificant like a conversation. I’ve looked around the scenery and there’s so much to do and the graphics are great, but I’m almost at the point of deleting SweetEscapes because it’s getting so aggravating. And waiting for lives is frustrating too.

Mmmmmm

So I really like this game it’s super addicting. However some of the levels get extremely hard and take 4-5 days to beat or you have to spend money to beat it. Another draw back is that you only get 5 lives at a time and if it’s a hard level those lives are gone in minutes. I’m ok with all this I can’t handle that. What makes me mad though is my husband has the game and his version allows him to watch videos for booster extra moves and lives. He had 15 hours of unlimited play. Meanwhile I’ve spent $30 on boosters and all he has to do to beat a level is keep watching adds. Also I saw other people complain about this I didn’t start experiencing it till the higher levels but it starts clutching and taking lives. Please bring back the videos or at least have the same version for everyone!!

Frustrating

I love this game and so far I have done well, some levels I’ve had to do over and over but eventually I get it. However I am on level 250 I have played approximately 8 hours I have played over and over, I have tried different combos and I can not beat the level, I’m on the verge of just deleting it and say so long, I really don’t want to do that because I like this game a lot, but it really has gotten to be no fun anymore. Finally got past this level....I get free play a lot and I was going to pay for 8 hours of free play but I can’t sit for 8 straight hours and the experience I have had with free play is that the clock keeps running and I lose free time, is there a way for me to be able to work and come back and still have my free time?

The puzzles get tedious; decorating choices are boring

I am the kind of player if I get wrapped up by a game I can drop several hundred dollars easily in my zeal for it. I know developers and artists have to live and put a lot of time into making their games so I don’t count it a loss, but instead I’m supporting REAL jobs and dreams while being entertained. This one however never enticed me to spend real money. For one, the decorating choices are so limited, only 3 options each of hideous pastel colors or patterns, so I had no desire to see the end result. Pretty soon the puzzles grew tedious and frustrating in their complexity and if I were excited about the decorating options for which I was playing the games for, I’d might have paid real money for boosts to help me through the puzzles. But as I didn’t care for the very few options for decorating at the end of the annoying puzzles, I stopped playing. This one is not for me.

Sweet, cute & fun!

Usually games like this I delete because they get too difficult to play around level 100 or so, however this game I'm already on level 624 and still going. The puzzles are challenging and I have to do them several times sometimes, but they don't make it so hard you have to spend money on boosters to continue playing.
I haven't spent any money on the game and I do just fine with boosters and free lives the game gives you so this is really well made to not force you to spend and still allow you to enjoy the game.
Aside from that, the game is also beautifully made and a lot of fun to play with a cute story line!

Please explain running out of game. Every week now I get cut off and no new games until Tuesday. You have some other game to fiddle with until then. Please explain because I’m about to delete it. I wanted the untangle game and got this, now this has gone weird, why?
