Love the concept! Got a flier at the Oakland first Friday event, downloaded Vibemap , and was very pleasantly surprised when it asked me to check in with myself for them to generate recommendations… but the recommendations weren’t so great. I put in “adventurous” and “rebel” as my vibes and got some very mainstream, mellow recommendations in response. In general the businesses/spots recommended were all pretty well known/bougie places. Leaving this review bc I would love to redownload once its recs are built up more!

Super useful to me as a local. Will totally use it for places I travel. Great info on stuff both wonderful and well know (and thx for the reminders, vibe people) and especially good for all the things I would NEVER know about otherwise

I don’t know what I want to do, but it’s fun to browse vibes to figure it out. I keep finding new places through Vibemap, which is handy when I need to find something cool to do with friends ... now that we can go out again!!!!

The this app app is the perfect tool for people looking to get outside and go on an adventure. With so many people receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and being allowed out again, this app launches at the perfect time!
