Forced Tracking

So I recently got back into playing the game(I was waiting for new puzzles) and when I got on a message popped up about “supporting so the game can continue to be free” originally it gave me the option to either continue watching ads or to “allow tracking”, I declined tracking as I did not mind watching ads. Now it says “opt in now” like it’s giving an option, but only gives me the ability to “allow” and nothing else.

So basically the game is forcing you to be tracked to play. No thank you.

If I’m given the actual option of tracking or not so I can opt out I’ll re-review since I actually enjoy the game very much.

Adds

This game is great it scales by difficulty from very hard, to hard, then to normal, to easy, and finally very easy. The levels match well with the difficulty and there are plenty of levels.
The adds are the issue. When you boot up the game and play a level you are booted up with an add that lasts 5 seconds till you see a very small X appear after you press that it gives you a small arcade that lasts around 5 seconds for an X to appear again once you press it, it sends you to Nonogram store so you have to manually switch back to the game only to be with another X to deny the game.
the game already has stretched out adds and it only gets worse since after you beat a level you are treated with an add meaning once you play and beat a level you get long winded adds. If you dont want an add then you will have to beat a level in 20 seconds at most then play another. Of corse if you play an easy stage it lasts around 30 seconds at most and the very hards take around 6-12 minutes which means you will always get adds
Over all the adds take around 10 seconds to leave the add. And also the arcade section of the add sometimes can only also be closed if you play the arcade which makes this game kind of annoying to play.

Waste watch ads or pay

Waste either watch a crazy amount of ads or pay $8 a week. I enjoyed this game but you can’t progress in a timely manner without paying or watching more ads. You already have to watch ads between games. But to have to watch additional ads to continue playing even when you’re winning makes it a waste of time. You sometimes win the ability to continue by completing achievements but it’s not enough and $8 a week is crazy. I also understand that I could just wait to build up to continue playing without watching ads but the point of this game is to get you lost in it and yea Sorry you lost me.

Love the game, hate the problems

I really love the game. I find it challenging, but not so challenging that I don’t want to play.

If I like it so much, why the bad rating? For the last month, about every 7 days my coins I’ve earned disappear, my progress comes and goes, and these ‘timed challenges’ reset halfway through the time back to 0. Why would I want to re-earn my my 250 or so items, when I’m sure they will just keeping going back to 0 before time expires.

Fix the glitch please, otherwise this will end up in my app graveyard.

Very fun; wayyy too many ads

Honestly i love this game, the puzzles are perfectly challenging and solvable at the same time, the graphics are nice and the music is really calming. But I don’t understand why there are so many ads. How I expected Nonogram to give you ads was if you completed a level you got one and if you wanted extra coins/gems you could watch one, and even then they would be short. How it actually is, makes you watch an ad when you open Nonogram , when you start a level, when you finish/close a level, and when you want extra rewards. This is way too many ads for someone trying to move between rounds easily after i finish. I understand that there is a no ads thing that you can purchase but i feel like you shouldn’t have to spend money to enjoy a game like this. Especially when plenty of other apps and games have little to no ads and are just as entertaining if not more. If I’m trying to play a game that claims to be relaxing and fun then i dont want to be bombarded with unstoppable ads just for clicking a button. This is really the only thing that makes me want to delete Nonogram . Otherwise its great.

(p.s. I do understand that ads are essential for making earnings for this type of game but at the same time there are much better ways to insert ads without making the experience unbearable.)

Support

Your app support button is like Voicemail Hill it just goes in circles and I cannot contact you for abs a port. Therefore I must ask my questions in your review column.
I have purchased Nonogram on my iPhone. I would like to use it also on my iPad since on an iPhone the larger grades are far too small for my fingers to operate. However, when I downloaded Nonogram onto my iPad my games are not there. It is like a fresh start on a brand new app I would like to be able to switch back-and-forth. Is this possible? As this is the only reason I purchase

Obsessed but ad issues

I’m addicted to this game! However, while the ads are annoying the subscription amount to get rid of them is ridiculous, Nonogram won’t let me play ads for more gems and other rewards. It keeps saying that the ad can’t be played and to please try again. I know it’s not an internet issue because all the other ads before and after a game work, but I cannot view an ad to get anything like gems, coins, lives etc. It’s making it so I have to wait hours just to play multiple games to wait for gems to reload or I get stuck because I can’t watch an ad for coins for a hint. Fix this please!!

Decent game play, too much fluff

I like the game play of Nonogram . Two features I don’t see in a similar app: automatically marking an X in a row when its solved and distinguishing more clearly which mode I’m in.

But the gamification aspects grate on me. Collecting gems and a timer to get more and watch a video to get more and oh hey, click the balloon to watch a video for even more and then STILL having ads is a bit much, even for a free game. Not even sure what the coins are for yet. I’ll sit through ads for a while until I know I’m going to stick with a game. But the constant barrage here is turning me off. I really do like the game itself but will go with one of the competitors which is less intrusive about the cash grab.

Fun game with a minor question

I really enjoy this game. I logged in daily for a long time and claimed my daily free coins and gems. Unfortunately I see absolutely no reason to collect either of them. They don’t contribute to my game play in any way. There is nothing I find to spend or use them on. As I said, I do enjoy the game. It’s a nice way to kill time and I feel it’s good for brain activity. I just sorta feel like something else could be added.

Almost perfect game!

I LOVE this game! The only thing I’d request to change would be allowing the user to restrict which sizes of puzzles they can get in their levels. On my phone, the 15x15 is just too small to play without straining your eyes and making a lot of fat finger mistakes. I wish I could set my preferences to be only 5x5 and 10x10 puzzles in my picture levels because those are the only ones I can do. It’s frustrating to not be able to complete an entire picture.

OTHERWISE THIS IS PERFECT! Cute puzzles, greater range of challenge/difficulty than other similar this app apps within a single 10x10.

Thank you for this game!

Great Puzzles but

I really enjoy the puzzles! The hard ones are definitely harder than most other apps. I give 4 stars because the lives system is a little frustrating for people who have big fingers. Sometimes I try to press a certain square but because my fingers are big it ends up pressing one above and I lose a life. It would be great if there was a way to either zoom in on the 15 x 15 puzzles or have a pencil option like in sudoku. The ads are just a tiny bit excessive for the price asking for no ads as well. Fun puzzles though.

Fun game, but could have touch lock or a temporary marking

I like the game, but I would prefer if there was some kind a touch lock or a possibility to add dots, or even that on touch would not add x or color. I tend to accidentally touch the screen when counting cells, and if a wrong mode is selected, I now have one life less. If single touch would add/remove a dot, and you had to separately switch between dots mode and final markings mode, it would help a lot.
Even a possibility to lock the screen from touches while counting also would be better than now.

Soothing

I’ve tried several this app games and this is easily one of the best. Soothing, beautiful, and well designed. Not many other this app games put a focus on the interface and user experience. Two things to consider for developer:

1. Haptic feedback would be wonderful! Brings more tactile feeling to this game.

2. I want to support this game by subscribing but $7.99 weekly is not agreeable.

The themes puts my puppy to sleep!

The themes in Nonogram is, quite frankly, epic. Not only is there idle movements in each background and sound effects to match, but each one is beautifully drawn and integrated into the game. I’m currently enjoying on this new Christmas theme that fades Christmas music in and out between Nonogram ’s default music.

One thing I like about this this app app is the subject of each puzzle can be reused, but in different styles/difficulty. It’s a bit of an odd thing, but I find it pretty interesting. The reason I bring it up is that another this app app I have had puzzles with pictures that are mostly incomprehensible and aren’t even labeled, making it seem like they just slapped together whatever squares to make enough puzzles to make a game.

I do I have one negative thing to say that can hopefully be fixed. If I use a hint in a puzzle but then lose all hearts and then restart because I don’t have enough coins, the hint(s) are erased with everything else. This shouldn’t happen. Other this app apps I’ve used keeps the hint lines automatically or gave you the option of keeping them when you restart a puzzle. Not only is it frustrating to rebuy hints I’ve already bought, it makes me want to go back to other this app apps. Hopefully this can resolved!

Love this game but wish it had colors like the advertisement

This is my favorite game. When I downloaded it after watching the advertisement I was excited to finally find a multicolored this app but disappointed to find it was only single color. I still love the way the game works because it is more fun than other similar apps. But if you want to truly compete with other apps please offer multicolored versions!!!

Best Nonogram App

By far the best this app app out of the many I have tried. Incredible aesthetics, fun events, relaxing music and themes, has all necessary functionality (except misclicking since it takes a life away and gives you information, but I’m not sure how that would be dealed with and it’s difficult to burn 3 lives on misclicks).

Oddly, I got a notification when I launched the game today saying that there was a new version that I need to get from Nonogram store, when I pressed the button it took me to a completely different app, which was much worse at least gameplay wise (which is the biggest thing for me). I hope Nonogram continues to be supported and they don’t leave it behind for the worse one they are promoting. Alternatively, if the developers tweaked the gameplay of the new one (not showing which number you have completed in a row/column unless it’s impossible for it to be any other ones, not allowing the dragging and releasing to place multiple, etc.)

but yea overall, great app, would recommend

Love the game, only have one problem

I am usually very picky about this app games based on their view and set up, but I am very happy with the way this one is designed. Even with having to pay gems to play puzzles, they replenish quickly and there is an option to watch a video to get extra. The only minor problem I’ve had so for is that with the 15x15 puzzles, it’s a small screen (using iPhone) and I often end up filling in the wrong squares and loosing a life, but other than that I enjoy the game.

:)

I have only been playing this game for a day, but I wrote 5 stars because this nomogram app was better than others so far. The other ones that I have played were too hard right at the beginning so I gave up. This nomogram app is easier than other apps which makes it better. Plus, the ads aren’t really long, and they aren’t very repetitive. If the ad was too long, they would let you skip the ad 4 seconds in. I don’t know know if it isn’t that good after a while, but right now I am enjoying it.

The best nonograms!

I love this version so much! It’s fun and energy recharges at a decent rate. I don’t understand the VIP draw at all. I am completely done with all the puzzles and have no use for unlimited gems. I’d only be willing to do that if there were FAR more puzzles. I also wish you could re-set the game or at least see the difficulty without clicking on every square of the picture. I love re-playing very hard puzzles, but I hate having to find them. I love the hint feature on this one as well. Instead of just telling you the answer for the line, it explains the logic behind it.

Love the app but…..

Nonogram has very relaxing music and the art in the puzzles are very good, and the sound effects are perfect. Very addicting too say the least bu5 I do have one problem

THERE ARE A TON OF ADDS I get that you have to make money and all but omg do you need that many, it kind of takes away from how relaxing the game is when you have adds after each puzzle that only takes like 5mins minimum
