The game was oddly satisfying. It’s very fun chipping away at wood, and then sanding and painting it. Unfortunately, it seemed like there was an ad between every step of every level and between levels! Basically any time there was a transition they threw an ad in. Levels take less than a minute to complete so you’ll end up watching more ads than actually playing the game. Also, I saw another review mention this too so I know it wasn’t something I messed up, but sometimes after the ad is done it loses my progress and I have to start the level over. Not too big of a deal when the levels are short but knowing I’ll have to watch an ad again when I progress to the same point in 15 seconds was enough for me to delete the app. Sorry. Great idea, super fun, ads ruined it completely.

I loved playing this game over the past year. Some updates have been great but other’s have taken away some good content to the game. I recently updated to the latest version and upon opening the app, I loved what I seen with the new updates BUT once I tried to start playing it froze and crashed. I reopened the app and nothing was visible, none of the stages could be seen, no buttons. I tried killing the app then reopening but nothing worked so I decided to delete the app and reinstall it. I hated to do this because I passed every stage but since it wouldn’t work this was my only solution. I deleted the app, downloaded it again, opened it I and everything was visible but I had to start over and once I started to carve a lot, it froze again and will not work AGAIN!! Please fix this, I really would love to play this game again and see what new content was added.

The mechanics of the game do, as stated, work in a satisfying way but is a blatant cash grab. The app includes advertisement each time you complete a level, which takes an average of 1-2 minutes to complete.

If this app did not have as frequent advertisements, it would have potential to hook people. Instead of the common and unoriginal idea of condensing as many of these ads in as possible, in-app purchases such as a shop for extra downloadable content (e.g., Mini-games, storyline, free play mode with a shop, etc.) could be implemented to create a much more appealing experience.

The reason that I gave this two stars is because I agree with the fact that this is addictive and satisfying (or at least addictive because it is satisfying). It is also a creative approach to a mobile game, but is ruined by the minimal effort put into the building of it.
