Yippee TV Reviews

YippeeTV has some great Christian shows for kids. However I chose to cancel my subscription after noticing so many subtle and severe messages that promote evolution, millions of years and transgender ideologies, not just on Yippie but on SMILE which has the same shows.
JJ the jet plane talks about how dinosaurs evolved into birds. A song on Smile was singing a song about animals and when it got to the monkey, it said “some people think we’re related to them”. On Mustard Pancakes not only do they never talk or mention God but the male cat is continuously dressing up as a girl.
We shouldn’t compromise on God just for a few moments of entertainment for our kids. We are responsible for what goes into their minds good or bad. Satan disguises himself as an Angel of light. Sometimes these so called Christian ministries are worse than secular ones.

My kids love being able to watch all their shows on one app! Also the fact that it’s compatible to watch on all platforms helps even more! We are an Apple family but TVs were love our Samsung and Fire TV so being able to access on all of these helps so much! I would give it 5 stars but there are a few shows that I do have to make sure my kids are aware they can not watch. Other than than we love the variety of Christian shows that are accessible!!

I love YippeeTV so much! My only complaint is that the stars of the “real people” shows (at least, the ones being promoted on the main page) are overwhelmingly male. Travis Travels, Yonas Gets a Job, Danny Go, Malachi’s Cooking Corner, The Fish Whisperer, Shama’s After School Program, Funny Man Dan... I only counted 2 shows starring females (Arts & Crafts by Three Sisters and The Yippee Show), and one of those was a co-star along with a male (I’m not including the music/dance videos, but those also appear to be mostly male performers). By no means do I think everything has to be 50/50 male and female, but from what I can see it’s like maybe 80/20. I have three girls and would love to see more female characters!

Although I think this is the best app for kids shows, I think there is still a bit on here that does not align with Christian values. There are shows and movies with magic/evil/creatures, or characters that are not Christ-like. So, I would not agree that this is a worry-free app. I have had to say no to quite a few shows that are on YippeeTV. Glad for the option to create a list of shows we do watch. Even my children question some of Yippee’s choices of shows. But everyone is different, so I guess to each his own.

There are still some shows we limit or don’t allow on here. If I don’t want my child acting like it, we don’t watch. We love Danny Go, Veggie Tales, cooking with Malachi, the show with Noel and Cameron (forgot the name), etc. we do limit shows like Life of Riley and Three Sisters (same characters) because I do not want my 4 year old rolling her eyes or being sarcastically rude and thinking that’s acceptable behavior. Unfortunately those are her favorite shows. However, overall for tv that I don’t have to frantically search for the remote to turn off because the world is trying to indoctrinate my four year old with their beliefs, this is the way to go! We also have Pure Flix for us and our teenager if you’re looking for a change for the whole family.

Yippie is the perfect platform for parental peace of mind! My little one enjoys watching the character building, biblically based adventures of the Veggie Tales! Yippee has the largest (possibly complete) collection as well new and exclusive videos that you cannot get anywhere else! I hope they will convince Bob and Larry to continue to create more amazing content because this is what our children should be watching! (Not so much the New Noah’s Ark video —the veggies new look creeps the kids out).
Yippe is awesome, try it out you will love it!

My two kids 6 and 3 were locked on their tablets getting into videos they should definitely not have been watching despite throwing up every parental shield I could find. I saw an ad on Facebook while looking for a faith-filled alternative for them. Now my little girl runs around singing songs from Maggie’s Market and I know they are being exposed to much better quality shows.

Thank you so much for creating a streaming service I don’t have to stress out about for my children!! I really can’t thank you enough.

If you haven’t downloaded this yet, you definitely should. This is TV with values and no sassy kids. You don’t have to worry about your child seeing something inappropriate accidentally, and I’m sure there is much more content to come, which I am very excited for!

I DELETED ALL OTHER STREAMING SERVICES FOR MY CHILDREN AND HAVEN’T HAD ANY COMPLAINTS!!

I just cancelled my Disney subscription and purchased a year of yippee best decision i have ever made, you want more positive children? You want them thinking happy things and never seeing negativity like all those evil stories in every Disney movie? Make the change you wont regret it. My kids love YippeeTV not to mention every time they hear yippee they get so happy they say, YIPPEE!! I want more longer movies but other than that the shows are great. They especially love Danny Go songs.

We love being a missionary but that also means we have you search even harder to find appropriate content for stream online for our family. When I came across your ad on Facebook I was elated 😍Thank you for allowing access around the globe so that even those of us on the mission field can have pure wholesome entertainment without having to edit content and enjoy family movies without embarrassing content our kids don’t need to see. You’re a Godsend!

The shows are wholesome and energetic. I feel relieved that my toddler can watch everything appropriate for her age. The content is meaningful and purposeful. Some content is entertaining as well. It’s great that they have some flagship shows like VeggieTales. but overall it’s great that this streaming service for this content exists and it’s easy to use. The quality of the videos I believe will continue to increase the more people use the service. Danny go is great as well by the way lol.

Yippee takes the worry out of what your kids are watching. Such a refreshing change from Disney+ and other apps whose content we were constantly questioning as we watched some shows with our granddaughter. She started watching Yippee and is now watching content that is age appropriate, interesting, engaging and educational all at the same time. And we no longer have to worry about what she is watching. So glad we found YippeeTV. So good for your kids and so worth it!

I have been pulling back from main stream kids programming for a while and was hoping to get rid of TV all together but that didn’t work in my house. I originally signed up for yippee and my kids liked the freedom to choose anything they wanted but life got busy so we canceled our subscription. Fast forward I thought to try pure flix in an attempt for find full family tv and was NOT happy with some of the “Christian content” … they had fortune tellers in their kids movies who consulted their crystal ball. No thanks. We decided to make the switch back to yippee and my kids are happy and occupied. I like the content and we try not to over do tv, but since I can’t completely avoid it this is perfect for us.

Wow, my 5 yr old came across Bible Builders and it was an instant hit for my Lego loving dude. I love that it gives the same fun feel as other platforms but also giving us lessons from God along the way. Would be cool if they showed some Legos being built at the end, but not a bid deal. This is a great app and I’m blessed to have found it. We need more Jesus in this world, every day, and all the time. If we raise up our children knowing the love of Jesus, oh what a world we would have. Thank you all for Yippee, keep adding more shows and doing this good work!

Our 3 kids love Yippee and their shows, they are Bible centered and healthy for little minds to absorb. Our kids ages range from 9, 7 & 1 and they all enjoy the shows and movies. The reality shows have great messages and have been very encouraging to our kids. Our older kids have enjoyed Face your fears, The more the merrier, The Bethkes, The Secret Garden, Baby in a Manger, and many more. Our baby has LOVED, Baby Baby and good old Veggie Tales. Adorable shows, would really recommend it and would love to see more movie options.

Ok so this has addicted my sister so much, Danny go especially, but there is a problem, I love Christian based shows but they all are too childish for me

So I go to “Shows for older kids” and all I see it Minecraft builds, a movie and others. I think you guys should focus abut more about the teenagers or 9+ of course no transgender adds or sexual stuff but just movies like spirit or black beauty etc.

But this is really good and I love it! Please do consider trying to make older kids feel a bit better though, might work out for your reputation. God bless America 🇺🇸

YippeeTV has much better TV options for my kids than Netflix or Disney+! I know when I am scrolling through Netflix on my TV that I have to go fast or undesirable previews are going to start and my son could see literally anything as I am trying to pull up Thomas the Train. I hate that. It also has more wholesome things that line up with my point of view than Disney+. Thank you for making YippeeTV and for making it such great quality. It has a great user experience just like Disney+, but it has Veggie Tales and other great shows! I was excited to see devotionals for kids on here too.

This is the best app ever! Veggie-Tales is my all time favorite! Yippie has so much to offer, it's like all the watching apps rolled up into something completely amazing! I wish I could have YippeeTV for ever and ever, but my mom says its to expensive. Why can't we pay the same amount of money for the yearly subscription but instead of paying the same price yearly, we could have it forever? If we pay 79 dolars or how ever much we had to pay, you could get money and we could have YippeeTV forever! It's a win-win. Thanks for reading. Everyone should get YippeeTV.

I searched hard for a faith-filled streaming service that would help us “redeem” some of our child’s screen time by reinforcing our values. Yippee has been a wonderful answer to that search and prayer! I love that I don’t have to worry about my two-year-old daughter coming across inappropriate content or ads. We ended up canceling our Disney+ and other streaming services because she loves the shows on Yippee so much! Her favorites are Paisley’s Corner, Cowboy Jack, Chosen Kids, and Maggie’s Market. She repeats a lot of the positive and Christian affirmations she hears in the episodes, which makes me so happy. As a mom trying to raise my kids to know Jesus, I am very thankful we found Yippee!

We subscribed mainly for new VeggieTale content for my 3 year old, but my 8 year old has loved the Bethkes and the Moore’s too. Some things they are not interested in, but I think that is expected based on the interest of each mid. We were also able to download a few things for our 8 hour drive which was very helpful. I don’t typically pay for these kind of things, but I’m glad I did for this.
