It does not work. Great idea, poor execution. Hope they get it up and running during the coronavirus crisis as it would benefit store owners and customers.

UX Improvments

As a Product Designer I had to share my thoughts about the apps UX. I like the concept of MyBodegaOnline ; especially now with this crisis and social distancing.
That said. First you need to improve the onboarding process. After downloading MyBodegaOnline went straight to a map but couldn’t find my location. The arrow to get to the main menu is difficult to see. Also on and iPhone X the UI gets cut off.
Once I finally got to the menu everything is disabled because of a “Guest” role. This appears as if MyBodegaOnline is broken. The profile has to be pressed to get to sign up.
After that many actions I closed MyBodegaOnline with no interest to sign up. If this is a product to improve the experience for Bodega shopping these areas have to improve.
My suggestion is to open with the sign up/Login using SSO for Google, Apple and Facebook. Include payment sources from Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Finally improve that google API for location. As a user I want to use my current location as well as selecting a location for when commuting.
