🙁😕

I’m not able to do anything helpful to my personal period times with out it asking me to pay. I shouldn’t have to pay for wanting to keep track of something I can’t control!🙁🙁 I’m so disappointed I used to use the ape I love the concept but um… it asks me to pay for everything!🙁🦧🙊 And when you try to get insights or tips for periods or sex or whatever it’s all locked! You even have to pay for advice! To whomever reading this I would not get it if your like me and think it’s ridicules having to pay becaus I can’t even control it! Oh I forgot when I tried to Track my mood or if I’m spotting or if I took a pill it says need to pay! I love it just wish I could do more without having to pay, at this point Periodtracker should just cost money because you can’t do anything without it!😕

Used to be great, extremely buggy and slow

I bought the premium version a while back but I've noticed over time it takes such a long time to load into Periodtracker , regardless if I'm on data, the doctor's office wifi, my home wifi. It is so inconvenient to check when your last cycle was or to put a new cycle in that I rarely go into Periodtracker anymore, let alone use the "premium" features like the extra symptoms. I would much rather use the default health app to log my cycle than to wait 30 seconds, attempt to tap a button, have Periodtracker crash on me when it takes too long.

Another issue I have is that Periodtracker doesn't autocorrect your cycle based off the data you put in. If I'm consistently 4 days late, every single month for 8 months in a row, maybe I'm not late, that's my cycle. I understand there is a function you can use to correct this but for paying $10 for the premium version when other period apps can simply do this for you for free is a bit silly.

App gets 2 stars for being cute and working well before performance issues. If I could get a refund, I would.

Not for people with very irregular cycles

I don’t recommend Periodtracker for people with especially irregular cycles. I had surgery earlier this year that made my cycles very irregular, to the point that I sometimes will have 2 brief cycles within a 2-3 week period. When trying to log the 2nd cycle, I was only given the option to mark it as a “prolonged” period instead of marking the specific days of my cycle. I also find that the options for symptoms, mood, etc. are minimal and don’t cover nearly all the bases that most other period trackers I’ve used do. It’s a cute app for sure, but I was very disappointed to the degree that I ended up getting Periodtracker refunded by Apple (which I almost never do with app purchases, but I had paid for the lifetime unlock, which feels overpriced to begin with).

It’s pretty

I downloaded 3 apps at the same time to see which would be best to replace my previous app. Periodtracker has a lot features, many of which you have to pay for. You get the basics of tracking your cycle and mood. Things such as symptoms, whether you took your pill, or how your body is feeling are paid features. Even the option to add a note is a paid feature. I understand that the team needs to get paid so I get having some features behind a paywall but there are other apps that look pretty and offer those features free. At least the feature of how your body is feeling and the option to make a note should be basic. Another downfall is that you can only see your projection 1-2months out. Anything longer has to be paid for. Some positives are that it tells you which phase of your cycle you may be in and gives a little explanation. Doesn’t display your possible ovulation but does tell you your chances of getting pregnant. According to their privacy policy as of 8/8/24, they keep your info on your device and only collect device stats (model, crashes, etc). Due to the limited functions I’ve decided not to keep Periodtracker but I do believe it’s a good one, just not for me.

Corrupted and lost all data

I enjoyed Periodtracker while it lasted, but this past month it seemed to get corrupted or something and and I lost all my past history of my cycles, which is pretty frustrating.

It got to a point where the days and dates were incorrect and not matching up with an actual calendar, and when I opened the full calendar view, some of the months looked like they had totally collapsed and weren’t really displaying usable data. After hoping it would perhaps sort itself out for a few weeks, I finally tried to re-download Periodtracker . I was hoping I wouldn’t lose my data, but thought that unfortunately might be the case. At that point Periodtracker tried to get me to buy the premium (which I had already previously paid for), and when it all finally loaded I could tell I had lost all my previous data. Bummer! I don’t trust Periodtracker anymore, so I think I’m going to go another route….

Very cool app! Mostly good, some bad, as to be expected.

I love an app like this where I can have so may features without having a premium subscription, and unlike other apps, those features aren’t just filler, they’re actually helpful. It’s also very easy to set up, I think. My only issues are how hard they push getting the premium package, but it’s a business, they want to make money, I don’t blame them. The only other thing is unless you’re 100% sure about your cycle and it doesn’t really change, it’s very easy for it to be wrong. I’m a little younger so my period is not set in stone so to say and I had to change my cycle multiple times due to that, and it was sort of hard to reset it, and every couple of months I had to take probably 20 minutes to sort of undo everything and make sure it would be right for the next month.

Pink

Love Periodtracker but wish you didn't need a premium subscription to add symptoms. I can't add that I had cramps and I don't think that we should have to pay that much money to track our health. When considering the financial requirements for Periodtracker 's functionality, it may be beneficial to explore the option of implementing a donation system. This could involve users making voluntary contributions on a monthly or yearly basis, with the flexibility to determine the amount they wish to donate. Then we receive the premium based on our assessment of its value.
Also, I understand that I don’t know how much money you might need to keep it running and make a profit. so if these changes aren't possible then I understand. I appreciate the effort put into creating Periodtracker and look forward to seeing potential improvements in the future. Thank you!

Slow Loading and Buggy

I started using Periodtracker a little while ago, I love the features of the premium version and adding the symptoms and moods. It’s adorable and a lot better than other apps I have tried. However recently Periodtracker has been very slow loading and now it tries to load when I open it and then it just never opens and force closes Periodtracker . I’m addition to that trying to add the symptoms before this issue started had a decent lag when clicking the options and it was select then unselect the symptom as I tried to make it load faster. I’m very irritated as I can’t even open Periodtracker now and I’m scared to uninstall it and reinstall it and losing all my data I have logged over the last few months.

Please help me somehow to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Pretty good, very cute, should not have premium settings

I use Apple health for period tracking but I found Periodtracker when I got waterllama. I downloaded it because it was cute and I didn’t have a standalone app to track my cycle. It’s very cute and I like it so far, even though I just got it. The only thing is is that I don’t think that turning off pregnancy chances, ovulation, fertility, and sex related info should be a premium feature. I don’t want a widget or notification popping up about the chances of pregnancy or something. These settings don’t currently apply to me and having them pop up is annoying and would be embarrassing for me if someone was looking at my phone screen.

Things to change

I really hope they add emotions like Sleepy, and nauseous to the llama mood list. I also wish there were different versions of Periodtracker one version with no ads but notice signs to upgrade/subscribe and another version that uses ads with upgraded access. I think we should be given the option for different ways to get upgrades in Periodtracker . (Information should be free, educating women on how their cycle functions should be free. however I understand Periodtracker is trying to make money but I think there are other ways to go around it without making people pay for information that should be self evident)

Paying for things I do and don’t want?!

I love the llama and tracking my mood and stuff. I think it gets the basics down and that’s really nice. But it doesn’t really seem better than Apple Health, which is unfortunate because I love the llama so much. My main problem is they want me to pay for EVERYTHING! So I basically just get a period/fertile window tracker with a cute llama but if I want to add something else for it to track or try to read their articles, they want me to pay for it!! And it’s a lot of money just for some measly stuff! Like, why make me pay for stuff like that? It’s just kind of annoying. Honestly, I think apple health is better but I just keep Periodtracker around bcuz of the llama. Even though I never use Periodtracker whatsoever.

Love Llamas! Wish had more emotions to choose from

I have been using the Water Llama app by the same developer and absolutely love it! So I decided to try out Pinkllama. The llama is so cute and I love how the info you put in Periodtracker can automatically be added to your Apple Health info. Depending on what you’re wanting to track, you might need other apps, so it’s nice to not have to do some details in every single app.

It’s fun to see the different emotions on the llama. My only complaint is that I wish there were more emotions to choose from. I feel like they are all similar to each other instead of having some of the highs and lows. I often get stressed or anxious, and I’d love to be able to see emotions like that available to choose from.

Adorable, but could use some changes…

Periodtracker is by far the most adorable period app I’ve seen. It’s so cute how you change the llama’s mood! It’s just not very good for younger users (like me) because you can’t turn off pregnancy features even though you can’t use them in the free version anyway. It would be great it free users could have the option to only see what they can use (so the menu would only have mood and flow). I totally understand that making an app needs funds and I respect that, but if you can’t use a feature, why do you still see it? I don’t really need the other features so it doesn’t make any sense to have to pay to get rid of something. Also I think you should make it so that you can move the icons at the bottom of the screen so that you can have it organized the way you want it. Anyway, thanks for reading! I really wanted to love Periodtracker, but until it becomes better for all ages, I will probably switch to a different app. If you allow free users to toggle off sex and pregnancy features, I will definitely change this review to 5-stars! Keep up the good work and I really hope you listen to my suggestions. Bye!

Great!

Periodtracker is helping me so much! I have some health stuff going on and doctors have asked if my period is consistent and I was never able to tell. But Periodtracker helps so much with that! That only thing is that on my notifications, the first thing that happens when my iPad turns on is “your period starts in —- days” right where everyone can see. So it would be nice if it was just a “P” instead of the word period for the notifications. and it glitched a couple days ago saying that my period ended in 33 days. Instead of the week cycle. So that’s as confusing but I just deleted then re downloaded it. It is great though! Thanks for this!

Love this!!

Great app! But please allow users to disable sex and pregnancy-related features without paying. There may be minors using Periodtracker , especially with its cute interface. I’m uncomfortable with the idea of 12 year olds having to see information related to libido and fertility if they would rather not—and I’m even more uncomfortable with the idea of them having to ask their parents to pay for a period tracker subscription and trying to explain the reason why. I have a younger sister who is 14 and I wouldn’t recommend this to her specifically because of that.

Perfect for young users and older!

Hello I’m Peyton I have been using Periodtracker for multiple months. I love how cute it is for young girls getting their period. My tracker is so accurate! I also don’t mind that pregnancy days pop up because you never know!⭐️ Periodtracker is so adorable and I will definitely keep using it! I haven’t bought any of the packs that are money but I also think that even without purchasing the packs Periodtracker is still accurate and amazing!🥇 I also love how you can change the mood and add widgets! It helps because I normally forget to check apps. So the widgets remind me! I hope everybody is happy with Periodtracker! I love you pink lama 🦙!!! 💞

Love this app

I have loved Periodtracker, it is really easy to use. I don’t yet have the full subscription, but I am looking forward to buying it soon. Even if you don’t have the subscription, it is still a good app, but I would recommend the full subscription, it is only $15 a year and you get to measure a lot more like your fluid, feelings, sex, and a lot more, I personally think it is worth it, but some might not. Since I love llamas I think it is just so adorable how they made Periodtracker. It is so much cuter than other period tracking apps. You can also just track your mood, even on days you aren’t on your period, which I think is really cool. I love Periodtracker and would totally recommend it!

Slay

Slay it’s really good to check it sometimes the days have a little bit off, but not by much usually days are off by at least one day you don’t need to sign into know when your next time is it tells you without you having to sign in and also it is really good to use. Sometimes if you can’t find an app also they have other apps like water tracking but I think this one is the best but the days are always a little off but only one day to survive. You have a nice for your day and thank you for reading!✨

my review

Periodtracker is amazing for little girl who is just started there period who has no idea what to do. Periodtracker ask you questions to have a better understanding and to help you and estimate when your period ends and starts again. Can I also mention how gorgeous decorated it is. It has so many cute decor and details to make Periodtracker so much safer for girls who are ashamed or even scared of having there period. Just a little warning it ask about pregnancy and make sure you do your answers correctly and read carefully because if your a little girl who needs a period tracker make sure you don’t do anything wrong. But Periodtracker is amazing I highly recommend! Remember girlies you have nothing to be ashamed of period is natural🤍

It worked.. until now.

Periodtracker was a nice period tracker and helped me a lot for predicting my next period. But now suddenly Periodtracker is unusable, i try to get on and it immediately kicks me out. I try again and it still doesn’t work. This has been happening for weeks, and my review has dropped from five stars to three because of this. Pls fix.

Edit: tried deleting Periodtracker and reinstalling and it seems to be working fine now. Ill change my review back to five stars since i have no other issues with Periodtracker so far! :]
