I’m not reviewing Literati because I didn’t get to use it.
I never received the book. I signed up on Nov 18 and the welcome email only said that I could download Literati , no information about book delivery or account renewal (I did the monthly subscription).
On December 2nd I got an email that the book was shipped, 14 days later! But only the shipping guide was created and USPS never received the book.
My CC was charged again yesterday, I feel scammed by now.
Worst, I can cancel my subscription or remove my bank account by myself. To cancel I have to send an email and I’m guessing I’ll have to beg for my cancellation.
Not recommended.

I love books and I love talking about books but Literati feels so unauthentic. Sure I can comment or like someone’s post but there’s no human interact there. These “famous” book club hosts obviously never use Literati and it all feels super surface level. Save yourself some time and money and join a book club with real people.

I signed up the beginning of November. My credit card has been charged twice for November & December & I still have not received a single book. I understand mail may be a bit slow because of the holidays, but I’ve received other things I ordered so not sure why this is taking so long.

When my husband bought this as a gift for me we thought I would be able to send my book preferences or choose a book of my choice but this club sends you the book THEY choose without asking what kind of books I would enjoy. I tried to cancel my membership the day after uploading Literati and realizing this was not of interest to me but they refused. Very dissatisfied and do not recommend at all!

Scammy company that forces you into a chat conversation if you want to cancel your subscription. It’s patronizing, insulting, and enraging to have to waste time on a conversation with a rep if you want to cancel - they guaranteed I will NEVER use this service again. Please avoid!

Most of the kids books they send are bargain book bin selections for quadruple the money you would pay at the store.

When trying to edit your profile the name and username cannot be changed. This should an option not just the photo.

I love this subscription. I look forward to it every month, but the changes to Literati have made interacting with my book club community something I dread, whereas I used to look forward to it. I sincerely hope a new update will be coming soon to revert Literati back to its previous version.

I’ve been waiting for a product like this for years. My biggest barrier to reading for leisure has always been what book to read. Now I have a book arrive at my door every month like clockwork, and I have a virtual community to discuss the book with. For someone short on time, a quality virtual book club was already very appealing to me. But now, more than ever, a virtual book club makes so much sense. I feel a sense of community and I love discussing what I’m reading with a broad group of people and perspectives without leaving the house. It’s more important than ever that we feel connected to others, and this is a wonderful way to maintain social connection.

I’ve been enjoying my experience with the this app app immensely! The interactive component of the this app book club really adds a unique personal touch that you don’t find with many book subscription services out there, and Literati itself is beautifully designed + easy to use. Replying to user’s comments is quick and simple, and I love how Literati allows me to track my reading progress of that month’s book. I also like how there’s a separate discussion thread for each set of chapters. Overall, it’s very well-organized and fun to interact with! — @inquisitivebookworm

Incredible! I love receiving a book each month to my front door then sharing my experience and thoughts on it in real time. Literati is easy to use and I’ve enjoyed being part of a new kind of community. Everyone I have interacted with in Literati has been supportive and provided valuable insight with their thoughts on the book. AND the books! Really interesting reads and fun perks in the box. Not to mention chosen by some truly inspiring people. Looking forward to my next box and discussion!

Hello, new happy place. I love that I can talk to people who are reading the same book as I am. It is also refreshing that I get a paper book delivered. My girlfriend is officially the best gifter.

Very well designed app for having discussions about books from the this app book clubs. Would be nice to have more variety of clubs, but the one I’m in is fun & interesting. Great alternative to Facebook/Twitter with much more insightful conversations!

I love that I can connect with other readers with any of my random thoughts as I am reading this book! The bookclub leader actually responds to you too, which is awesome! Love that there are discussions for different parts of the book😊

I’ve been using this app for about a month and I’ve loved the way I’ve been able to read along with others, ask questions, and reflect on my own journey through the book of the month. Such a lovely way to foster community!!

Everything from the design interface, to all the easy to use features for book discussions, the this app app is simply amazing! I never experience glitches or have had any problems with Literati or it’s features before! A perfect way to read and discuss great books through a wonderful app!

Literati is so much fun now with the release in early 2022 which makes it easy for me to follow my friends and see what they are reading and posting and commenting about, whether I’m in the same club as them or not. It goes a really really long way for me. I love seeing my reading stats posted too, it adds just that tiny bit of extra push I need to motivate myself to make the time in the evening.

I am so impressed with that this app is doing. I have a kids subscription for my 4 year old son and it is so beautifully and thoughtfully curated each month.

I really want to participate in the adult book clubs, but need a digital option because I just can’t read the print size on real books anymore. Is there a possibility that there will be digital options in the future?

This literary resource could not have come out at a better time. It’s amazing to be able to engage with my favorite Luminaries and have them actually interact with my posts! 10/10 would recommend for ease of use, excitement and value.
