New to CoinsChecker. Immediately seeing flaws. I love the idea of this and it seems to do everything I need it to. My only problem is I’m seeing is while I’m adding my coins and changing quantities CoinsChecker crashes very frequently. Probably every 2 or 3 adds or changes at this point. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. Other than that it’s perfect. Maybe in the future you could add the coins average values or something along those lines?
Amazing app to help keep track of your collection, there may be some things you might need to clean up. 1st, get rid of the 1982 BRONZE option. You already have 1982 (copper) and 1982 zinc, no need for bronze. 2nd, the 1974 aluminum pennies were only given out to congresspeople for example. Only one made it out into circulation, but then was returned to the government. That coin does not exist anymore. Finally, I’m not a genius when it comes to half dollars but your cover coin for half dollars is a half dollar I have never seen before, maybe change it to a walker or a benji? Anyway, just a few things that aren’t the biggest deal, but overall CoinsChecker is outstanding and helps me a ton.
CoinsChecker is incredible. Not to mention that it’s free to use. The only thing I would recommend is if you could put the price of the coin underneath it and the total value of your collection underneath your name on your profile. It would also be nice if you could add banknotes and currency. Thanks!
I love CoinsChecker and everything it does but I would like to be able to include more coins of various nations. The US, Canada, and England (decimal only) is quite annoying when you have thousands of foreign coins
I really like CoinsChecker. It is very easy to use and zero in on specific coins or enjoy collecting all the coins. I hope that it gets updated so we can add years to it to keep it updated. I highly recommend.
I just got it and I already love it although I wish there were a way to take a picture of your own coin and have it in CoinsChecker to reference instead of having 1 coin show up the whole time
CoinsChecker is an amazing way to keep track of all your numismatic items, even when you are away from your collection! I would love to see an option where you can choose the grade of each coin, and then you could have approximate values stored here as well!
Hi, I love CoinsChecker so far, it’s easy to use and I can log my US and Canadian coins with ease. However I’d like for there to be more British coins added, as I have lots of them I’d like to log that aren’t in the British coins log already there (like some old normal 50 pence or some old shillings).
Absolutely the best easiest way to keep track or any and all of your American coinage as well as some other Canadian and British coins. I’ve tried other apps but none are as user friendly as CoinsChecker.
Developer do you plan on updating all new 2021 and future releases? Also type 2 ASE’s?
Well designed, easy to use, amazing features. I use this to keep track of my collection and open it up every time I am in my local coin shops. With the ability to add specific grades and coins it is extremely helpful to check against the stock to see if I can upgrade anything.
This is exactly the type of app I was looking for so I can quickly reference which coins I am missing from my collection. I do have a suggestion however, I wish there was an option to have multiple lists of the same type. For example, I am collecting 2 sets of the national park quarters, but I can only use CoinsChecker to reference one collection. I wish I could track both, and possibly rename each collection in CoinsChecker . Just a thought, otherwise nice app!
Exactly what I’ve been looking for to catalog what I have and what I’m missing. As some future development suggestions, it would be nice to be able to click on a coin and access info like mintages and to take notes about the coin, condition, etc. Would also be nice to upload your own photos. Still a killer app and definitely the best of its kind as it currently sits.
Terrific app can’t say enough good about it. Easy way to document your coins and then lock the actual collection up and only have to refer back to CoinsChecker to see if you have a certain coin you wanna buy. Makes it all soooo much easier. I donated to the devs, cuz they deserve it and honestly, I never donate to free apps. Thanks for an absolutely perfect app guys!
This a great app with a very simple user interface. It is quite easy to navigate the plethora of pages in order to find and mark which coins you have in your collection. Though mine is small, there are many features that can be noted about the coins. I mainly collect quarters and I’m starting to dabble in pennies so CoinsChecker is more than enough for my needs. Overall a great app. GUI could look/operate cleaner but that’s just me nitpicking.
About a week ago, CoinsChecker wouldn’t load my collection (blank page only). It was fixed within the day, but ever category pulls up the same list of coin types, and they are incomplete. My collection does not load in the types that I had entered previously. Please fix, as CoinsChecker had been great to check my inventory on the go!
I really like CoinsChecker. It’s a pretty basic app but is very easy to use. It doesn’t have prices but you can add grades and quantities if you want or just use it as a basic log of which coins you have which is super easy and fast to use. I use it with a couple apps that are more in depth but for quick reference to see which coins you have and which you need this is perfect. If prices are ever added it may become my only app.
Exactly what I was looking for. A simple way to track which coins I have, especially when I’m out and about. I can quickly check my current list on CoinsChecker then I know if I need that coin or not. Most more efficient than dragging out the folders with a bunch of coins in hand and flipping through them to see if I need them or not. Thanks.
I’ve been looking for an app like this, absolutely the best thing in the world for coin collectors. ONLY reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars, is because I wish you could flip the picture of the coin they portray to the see the back side, and because I wish we could add our own photos of the coins we have so that it can be saved that way and maybeeee even given a “estimated” grade of the coin via photo.
I love the simple interface for tracking which coins I have across various type sets. I use it at coin shops and estate sales to quickly visualize my collection and avoid duplicates. It’s perfect at what it does.
One update request: I notice that most (maybe all) of the modern coin categories stop at 2021, and some at 2020 (like the Silver Eagles). Can we please get an update soon with the newest years?
Thanks so much for such a great, easy to use app!
I absolutely love CoinsChecker. Keeping track of what i am missing is great.
I would love to have the British pounds in CoinsChecker and of course a lot more countries. But it is a wonderful app and i hope it will be around for a long time
