I am SO thankful that I stumbled upon an article on the Flick blog while trying to figure out how to get more followers organically. I’ve only had it for 3 days, and I have already ranked on more than 50% of my hashtags, most of them in the top 10 each time. Today my post absolutely blew up because of successful hashtag use, getting 4x the amount of likes I typically do. My account is still so small, but I feel so much more confident now that I have Flick backing me up! Suddenly it’s like everything about Instagram just makes sense.

This program is amazing. As a social media manager I do tons of hashtag research Andy research time is cut in half with this plus the analytics are amazeballs!

But the mobile app by itself isn’t as amazing as the desktop, so highly recommend you use the desktop.

Also this isn’t a free service. The free stuff is very limited but it’s sooooo worth the price

FlickSocial doesn’t work even at all and that’s fine, just delete and move on... but here is the issue, it’s a scam bait and switch. Such a blatant trick it’s unbelievable.

First off you have to sign up for 10 euros a month, then FlickSocial or the desktop version will never be able to connect to your accounts. Fb and ig both say connected and I re establish the connections over and over and flick won’t recognize. Ok so it’s not a good app, no big deal.... except the deceit they pull. They make it so difficult to cancel your subscription and it’s hidden away and has to be done on a desktop. Clearly intentional and it shows what type of people the creators are. Shady shady shady. Go for a different app.

Everything about FlickSocial is non intuitive. It worked for maybe two days. And now I want to cancel, but I can’t through FlickSocial . I have to get on an actual desktop to cancel. It should be illegal to make it so difficult to cancel so they can continue charging people for something that does not work. (This is why they don’t bill through Apple.) I am so disappointed. Please don’t download or use FlickSocial. You will be disappointed and then be in the position of having to jump through hoops to cancel. It’s just not worth it and the insights and hashtags aren’t helpful anyway. There is no good way to manipulate the algorithm with Instagram. Companies like this are just taking advantage of people.

I spent hours trying to get FlickSocial to work. It would never acknowledge my ig business account despite logging into it multiple times, it always just kept running me in circles saying I had to login, when I logged in it took me back to the page where it’d tell me to go to a page where I’d have to login. It also would do that for the billing and you literally cannot do any of it from your phone, you have to have a desktop to cancel a subscription or properly log in to it. Which even with the desktop I was not able to get it to accept my IG, but at least it seems to have canceled the subscription.

Pretty disappointed in FlickSocial. First, it’s not super clear if you’re getting charged with a monthly fee or paying the entire year up front (which is what happened to me). And second, since I’ve started using FlickSocial, my reach and engagement has gotten significantly worse to the point that I no longer rank on any hashtags at all. Makes me wonder if enabling this third party app is actually hurting my account. The only reason I’m still using it is because I have it paid for a year

The analytics and resources that Flick provides (especially in their desktop dashboard) are unmatched in the current market. The Flick Social Hub on Facebook is a bonus worth mentioning!

I’m really excited to see the expansion of FlickSocial ’s capabilities vs. desktop, since a large portion of a SMM’s time is on mobile. Regardless, FlickSocial and service is 5/5

I have much to learn still, but so far I’m enjoying FlickSocial and the information and tutorials, etc.

I didn’t get past the sign-up because they force you to pick a plan that’s at a minimum $120/year and you have to give them your credit card or PayPal information. Yeah there is a free trial but they are already trying to upsell you what should be standard features before you even finish signing up. Just not a good way to do business in my opinion. I doubt it’s worth it at this time but will be happy to try it and change my review when I can get a free trial without giving my credit card.

Pros: great for finding hashtags to use (which is why it gets 2 stars).

Cons: it is useless for telling me WHICH hashtags worked on my post. Example: I posted a pic to IG with 29 hashtags. Flick told me that NONE of the hashtags ranked. Meanwhile Instagram tells me that the same photo has 5,000 views from hashtags alone! Now Im back to guessing which hashtags to use for every single post (which is what I paid Flick hundreds of dollars for😫). Also, they have a burdensome & scammy cancellation method.

The issues I have with FlickSocial version of flick is that it won’t tell you the hashtags that are banned or not and sometimes FlickSocial won’t even open. Like I would have to uninstall then reinstall flick to get a chance of FlickSocial actually opening up and staying open. And that really effects me when I’m trying to add the hashtags to the post within a timely manner.

I had signed up for Flick because I was interested in what it was. I knew that if you didn’t cancel after a week you would get charged monthly. So after about three months I decided to cancel because I wasn’t using it. I come to find out I was charged for a year. I talk to flick support and they tell me I can’t cancel. I can’t believe a company will not let you cancel if you are no longer interested or in need of their services. Not happy

More than an investment! This is essential for growth! I took advantage of the free trial now I gotta buy it cuz it does the work for you! If you’re serious about IG growth, this is the way!

Makes finding hashtags easy! I use to have to write them out but I can copy and paste!

I have had FlickSocial for 4 months and they accept their subscription through paypal and once you give your PayPal they will keep taking your money even though you want to cancel the subscription. App will tell you to go to the website and website will tell you go to FlickSocial . Please don’t pay your money to FlickSocial. It’s a JOKE!!!

I tried to sign up with my Facebook and my Apple and all I got was either a 404 error or a contact loop and no way out.

Then I signed up with my email and got stuck in the payment page and could no get out.

Then closed FlickSocial and went back in again and was told account needed payment and kept getting error message and no chat available after it took me to that page.

I was told there was a free version and certainly not going to pay for something so glitchy without trying it out first!

FIX FlickSocial !

It’s a great hashtag research tool, and I would like to see them work more on their blog/teaching side of things. We need more tutorials!

Flick is really easy to use, very simple to implement and use from day 1 of use!

Ok yeah reading the comments for the mobile. Compared to being used else where… this is for the mobile users. Completely terrible app will not allow a new user to create an account. Since thats the case don’t bother to have an app.

Definitely worth the price if you know how to use it effectively!

Ok so first and foremost, this iOS app does not do much on its own.

HOWEVER, combined with the desktop analytics, search platform and reports... this is by far the most powerful hashtag app on the market.

I grew an account to 70k in 3 months using hashtags, I just started using flick about 3 weeks ago and awe man do I wish I had it the whole time. There is literally not a better app.

There customer service is a bit slow and it seems like most features are still in beta, but the value added is still insane. Plus, I feel like they are a new enough company that they actually listen to feedback and push substantial updates unlike some of their competitors (cough hashtag expert cough)

Anyway, If you want to own the hashtag game and you have a little bit of investment money ($15 - $25 / month) FlickSocial is the sweet spot. I track about 6 social accounts with it and I hope it only gets better :)

Honestly I gave FlickSocial a good try and when I use my own hashtags that I research myself, my post does way better than the hashtags FlickSocial suggests. Also, it’s a super pain to cancel your subscription. They make you get on a desktop to do it. Sounds pretty scammy to me.

A pop up appears opening FlickSocial prompting me to update app. Says there’s an update so I go to FlickSocial Store and don’t see an available update. Its a bit shady that through their apps there is an update and not through FlickSocial Store. So gonna restrain from updating within FlickSocial . Just be careful people

I downloaded FlickSocial (iOS) and I can’t even open it. It keeps saying to update it but when I click the button it does nothing. It would be so convenient to have this on my phone. Please fix this issue

You can’t use FlickSocial or cancel subscription unless you have your instagram linked. They don’t mention that you have to link your IG in order to use FlickSocial . I prefer not to add my information just in case if 3 party apps get hacked.
