When I first downloaded this, I absolutely loved it. The short stories were phenomenal and I enjoyed it very much. Maybe a month or so later, the iPad support update came out and while is was very helpful, i thought it was harder to use. It’s a great idea but i think it could be a lot better.

SUGGESTIONS
- in FINISHED READING, it would be nice to actually reread the stories instead of just being able to access the comments
- freshink eventually deletes the stories in your FINISHED READING, which is annoying because I can no longer read or find stories I loved in the beginning of having freshink
- a search bar would be really nice so we can find stories from far back easier

freshink is easy to use...very well designed. I love the easy swiping to select stories. My hesitation in giving it 5 stars is that as a beta reader, there is no way to make notes along the way to make the feedback more useful. Questions came up while I read that I knew I would forget by the end. It feels more like a service to readers than writers (and their revenue model indicates that). I think there is room to balance that better. Quality feedback will attract quality content, a win-win for all.

Is there any plan to develop freshink so that it can rotate with the device? I use a keyboard with my iPad and is have to hold my device like a book in order to read which makes typing a response difficult. Not a major issue, just wondering if there is a plan in development, or if by chance I have missed how to make the adjustment myself.

I’m reading, and then the top bar with font options keep jumping in and out at random times even when I was merely scrolling down. We need a better design with the top bar, right now it’s very distracting and annoying

I love freshink and the stories, but I wish I could reread the stories. Maybe that’s not what freshink is for, but I would greatly appreciate it

Is there anyway to copy phrases from the stories? Some of them I would love to add to my Notes of quotes I relate to.

I love reading and have read some fine short fiction here. I’m going to become a Patreon. I want to support the developer(s.) The developer website is minimal. Does anyone know if any portion of the subscription goes to the authors (based perhaps on most readings or highest ratings on a given day.)

The content is impressive and I liked the interface.

Fresh Ink is a beautiful, well designed app that seemlessly connects writers and readers. The experience on freshink is great and swiping makes it really easy to explore stories sent my way.

freshink is so fun! I’ve already read a few short stories that were great, and just started reading a novel. It is AMAZING. I keep finding myself wanting to discuss it with friends, and then realize, it’s not even published yet!

With amazing content updated every day, it’s a great way to just chill and calm your mind for a few minutes.

Ive read a few stories and I love how there’s a question afterwards where you reflect on a certain aspect of the story & can also, read & relate to others thoughts as well.

What a great concept for the reader/thinker in us all. Mix short works of fiction and nonfiction and then allow the reader to interact with the text and possibly the authors. And the method of storing read stories in a separate folder is helpful.

Literally exactly what you get. It’s tinder for readers - you pick what genres you like, swipe right on stories that interest you and left on ones that don’t, and that’s it. You pick the genres that most appeal to you and can block genres that don’t. Really fun app for writers and readers!

I find freshink is great in getting me to read and think about things in a different way. Although I have just downloaded freshink, I can already tell I’m going to love it.

Great app, a great way to create online writers circles

Fresh.ink is an awesome app for discovering new authors that aren't on anyone's radar yet. The stories come in all lengths and types and your feed adapts to your preferences. Seems like Fresh Ink has figured out how to tap into the vast sea of talented writers who haven't yet got picked up by traditional publishers, so you get to read their stuff first.

An added bonus, freshink is slick and provided a great reading experience with bookmarking and a "shelf" to keep stories you want to keep or start reading. I'm a fan!
