Word Farm Adventure Reviews

This game is fun, but has to many problem. First of all, I paid for no ads and still get ads. Second of all, after every level it asks you to buy multiple things. That has to stop. I just want to go from one level to the next. Most games will offer stuff, but not to where you have to click out of it just to get to the next screen. So annoying.

In addition, the piggy bank system is TERRIBLE. There should be an option to unlock with coins. It could be a lot of coins, but to have the only option be spending money? That’s not cool. That should be changed ASAP

I just downloaded over the weekend. I kept playing a bunch because I managed to get to the top of the world leader list fairly quickly. Then when I turned the game off with something like 3 hours left until the tournament ended and with over a thousand point lead, (2nd place had 248) but when I came back an hour later it had reset my points. So I raced back to the top again, and when I had a 300 point lead I took screenshots and turned that app off to cook dinner. But my points were gone when I turned WordFarmAdventure on. Again and again. There is no winning the tournament. I got to first 6 times this weekend only fie it to reset my points and the time every time I open the game up again. Total waste of time.

When I first downloaded the game, it had ads like every app, but recent updates have made it so much worse. It’s like there’s an add between every puzzle now! And that’s not counting the four or five continuous pop ups about in app promotions. I spend more time watching and closing ads than I do playing the game itself.

Update: I haven’t played since before Christmas 2021. I finished the farm, the county fair, and the farmhouse. There are no more tasks available and I still have 217 shovels left. Despite app updates being issued, no new game plan is available.

Downloaded the game cause I like word and design games, I thought it’d be fine. And it is- for the most part, it's decent enough. However, I have one main issue with the game and this will cause me to delete WordFarmAdventure . It’s the piggy bank system. I, and I imagine many others, filled up the piggy bank really quick, and then it shook to prompt me to break it. But the breaking fee is real money, something I won’t be spending. And that’s fine, you gotta make money, but then there’s no other way to clear the words in the piggy bank, so every time you get a word that’s not apart of the puzzle, the stupid thing shakes at you. I don’t know if there’s a way to turn this off and at this point I don’t really care. If I couldn’t find a way to turn off this feature within like 5 minutes, then it has bad user interface. If there is no way to turn off this feature, then it has bad gameplay.
I will be deleting the game because the piggy bank annoyed me too much. I just wanna find words and build a farm, not have something shake at me every time I play a puzzle.
Again, it’s an okay app, but this feature was dumb and I’m not gonna waste my time on something that annoys me.

Just wow. This game has so much potential. I like the story as you go along and building the farm up is kind of fun. But, I feel for every 5 seconds of play time you have to watch 5 minutes of ads. First you play the word scramble, then you watch an ad, get into the farm and open up a new level, watch an ad, want to build something, watch an ad, paint that, watch an ad….I have never seen so many ads in a game. The only reason I gave it two stars and not one is I like the characters and the storyline. Otherwise I just can’t play it. I have so many other things to waste time on, I don’t need to spend it sitting here watching 100 ads to be able to play for 5 minutes.

This could be a cute little game, but OMG the amount of ads is insulting. The fee for no ads is too high for the game, and even when I broke down and I tried to pay it had me stuck on join teams which I had zero interest in. I played as part of a rewards program, so getting to the level I needed to was painful. The reason I’m annoyed by that was because it wasn’t like that in the beginning, it allowed you to play a few rounds and then watch an ad. But once I invested my time, then it was an ad after every round. Often I will continue with games after I’ve reached the reward level, NOT this game, once I’m done I’m never going back. I get needing to make money but this is ridiculous.

i rarely post game reviews, but it’s necessary for this one .. it gets 2 stars from me Only bc Smarty makes me laugh .. this game would be cool if there weren’t soooooooooooooooooooooo many Ads!!! o. m. Goodness!!! every time you turn around, ad. in the middle of what the animals are saying, Ad. 😡😡😡😡😡 it’s absolutely ridiculous. seriously! either get rid of the every-5-seconds-ads, or give us the option to pay for no ads!!! now i remember why i quit playing this game years ago … it’s sad too, cause without allllll these STUPID ADS, this game would be so much fun!!

***edit due to your developer response*** i already deleted the game. i completely understand that your team puts in a great deal of work, and that should be commended. however, ‘smooth gameplay’ there is not. the word ‘smooth’ can in no way be used to describe the play in this game! i was interrupted During what the animals were saying for Ads. i simply couldn’t take it any longer. i’m not making things up when i say the ads were every Minute or so. if you think this is some kind of tech error, i Might try it again, but honestly, i’m pretty much over it now …

This has potential to be a great game but the amount of upsells and advertising is over the top. Before you can even play, you have to close no fewer than 4 popups trying to get you to spend your $$. Then you have to sit through countless commercials that even take you to the download screen for apps you don’t want. Even after I tried to close those ads, they persist. This aggressive strategy really ruins what would be a fun game because you hardly get to play at all. It’s hard to get into the flow with this game because the ads and popups constantly interrupt. Developers if you’re reading this, please consider a different approach. Are you that desperate for money? Maybe release a one-time purchase version or even a subscription option, so we won’t be bombarded with those ridiculous ads. Ok, I’m off to uninstall this game and find another one that isn’t so aggressive with ads and upselling.

I love this game a lot but the problem is that when you choose which one you want to pick they cost money and when you don’t have enough there is no exit button to do it some other time and when you reset it the next time it picks it for you and then you can’t change it and last when your piggy bank gets full it cost real money to break it that’s unfair that is why I am deleting this game it a very stupid and dumb unfair game!!!!!!!!

I downloaded this game after watching as lilsimsie video and I’m really enjoying it. The pacing is nice, and the puzzles are just difficult enough to keep me entertained but not so simple I lose interest. The occasional ads don’t bother me, and I don’t mind the option to buy boosters. The one thing I don’t like is they want you to pay real money to break your piggy bank. The way it’s set up makes it feel like you should earn it after the required number of words. Literally everything else in this game is attainable without having to pay so I don’t understand why this one costs extra. You should at least be able to turn off the constant shaking after you fill it up, or have a free option, like just getting the coins out but not the power ups.

I absolutely loved this game until your latest “improvements”. Mainly - when you updated the letters we have to choose from - you can’t see in what way you have chosen the letters. And I know that some of the prizes we get are for how many words we find in a row without misspelling one. If you don’t always spell it right it will reset back to none. It was nice to see the line between the letters so you could backtrack if you realize your spelling is wrong. Now you can’t tell.
The other improvements I guess are ok - just redesigning the page you play on. I just wish things didn’t need to be changed just for change itself.

I actually really enjoy the game. There are a lot of positives. It gives plenty of opportunity to win power ups and you can pretty steadily make coins. The design is very cute. Definitely one of the better word games I’ve played. However, I have two big issues with this game.

1. The amount of ads that I have to watch to play is ridiculous. You have to watch a 30 sec ad after almost every single level. You can updated your design choices by once again watching more ads or spending coins. I really REALLY hate the amount of ads that I have to watch and it’s the same ones over and over again.

2. The piggy bank is aggravating. I’ve played many word games with this feature and they never made me spend really money to break it. I probably have filled it up 5 or 6 times over but I’m not spending real money to break it. Now it just shakes at me every time I find an extra word.

I would prefer having bought the game outright with zero ads than dealing with it the way it is. I really like it but I’m debating whether it’s worth the hassle..

This word game with its added features is pretty cool, however the game forces you to spend money. Of course you’ll go through the rounds fairly quickly, however after each round which takes you a few seconds, there’s an add. Sometimes 5 seconds sometimes 30 seconds and we all know how annoying the ads are with its pop ups and making it complicated to escape. And this is every few seconds depending on how fast you beat the stage you’ll have to deal with another ad. So pay or quit.

I don’t normally leave reviews, and this might be my very first one. I really like this game; the characters are fun, the gameplay is enjoyable, and I even think it’s one of the best word search games I’ve ever played. Sometimes my boyfriend and I have competitions to see who can get the most words, so I definitely have good memories of this game. I would recommend it to anyone, but the reason I’m giving it 3 stars and not 5 is because that piggy bank is so annoying. It takes away from the gameplay, and it’s so frustrating to see it shaking at me whenever I get a word correct that’s not in the puzzle. Mind you, that’s a lot of words. So to see it shaking at me constantly gets very old, very fast. I understand you have to make your money somehow, but don’t do it at the expense of your players. At least have an option to turn the shaking off if you won’t let us just disable the piggy bank.

This game started out as fun, but recently you can’t even start the game without trying to close out about four of their sales adds and during the Christmas add on a forced commercial for another game. You have ads shoved in your face every 4 or 5 levels and when you complete tasks every 5 or times. You spend more time watching adds or reset oh the game to try and avoid the ads than you do actually playing anymore. Started out fun, no longer!

I really loved this game. Out of the thousands of word games, this one let you earn shovels to decorate different environments, which I enjoyed. I have continued playing even last level 2000, but I’ve finally quit because of how ad greedy the developers are. They played ads every 2 levels before, but with the new update it feels like I’m getting spammed by ads left and right. It’s also annoying when you’re just trying to play but you get spammed with windows telling you every single event they have going on, so you have to exit out of several windows before you can even play. It ruined the experience for me, which is a shame considering how much I used to like it.

I played this game for a few days, but just can’t anymore. Every game action taken triggers an ad. Some you can click through after five seconds, others last 30 seconds or longer. I get it - this is largely how developers get paid, advertising, and I don’t mind watching them. But I cannot play a game that makes me watch an ad after everything I do. And I don’t want to pay to remove ads forever. So for now I’m bowing out. If you ever scale back the sheer number of ads I might play again, but not until then. It’s too bad really. I like the game and would have given it a five star review but for this.

This is a great game for kids and players who might have a limited vocabulary. Maybe the creators would make a separate game for players who are older and may want a more challenging game. Rather than having one game for everyone, It would be nice to have a beginning AND an advanced version. This game gets more difficult as you progress, but it’s still not quite difficult enough. And It might be too frustrating to younger players if the words get too difficult.

Honestly a pretty good game to play while chilling. I like how the levels never get too hard so that you can maintain a constant progression speed. Also I really like how there is no enery/lives system so that I can play the game as much as I want whenever I want. A downside to the game is the ads, which is normal for any mobile game, and how sometimes there are repeat levels. Also the game gets repetitive since the combination of letters is pretty similar between levels I feel like. Overall better than most mobile games though.

This is a amazing game! I only have two things. First is the piggy bank!! I filled it so fast and wish that it would empty! The second is that when you open WordFarmAdventure you have to close four pop-ups. Maybe if you only had them pop-up once and then they could sit on the side or in the store. Honestly I only payed attention to them the 1st or 2nd time. Otherwise the game is amazing and the best word game out there!!

Let me start by saying how much I enjoy the game. I find it very relaxing, and like that it makes me think. I appreciate that it’s not another puzzle matching game.

The reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because of all the pop up ads after each level. Even when you purchase the remove adds, i felt like it didn’t really stop.

There needs to be an option where we can be add free permanently. No, not subscription based. Pick a price for a lifetime membership.

And the piggybank. WHY do we have to pay out of OUR pocket if we’re supposed to be “saving” words? This feature needs to be overhauled. Either have us use in game money, or just get rid of it. Or give us the option to at least turn off the feature.

When that is addressed, i will consider changing my review from 4 to 5 stars if done right.

I got this game after a video by Stephanie soo. It’s a good game don’t get me wrong I just with that everything wasn’t so many coins I only get around 10 coins per level and I’m constantly renovating but the best choices cost like 100 coins and the ones that are free are really random like a neon green color or a tiny plant that makes it look super out of place. So I hope you can lover it a bit only like 20-30 coins less but that’s it!

I’m an unscrambling fanatic. I have played to the end and have no more tasks. It’s addicting. There are a few things that irritate me hence why the only 4 stars. I am hoping the individual games can become capable of messaging each other. I also can not receive rematch requests either. Things that you buy take too many shovels to obtain and others too little. I see my mansion in the part I am at and get discouraged because I know that the Fair ground took FOREVER to build. Another question is will others get to see our work? What we have built? Am i missing something? Overall cute game. Some of the words are big and i have never heard of them. In the individual games I AM A BEAST! Js

I enjoy playing this game because it trains you to think. It also forces your brain to become an encyclopedia, as you put letters in a million places and your brain finally displays the picture. What gets me the most, Is sometimes it’s the simplest word. But, I find myself thinking of the most exotic word . And it ends up being a word I haven’t heard in eons! Overall great game to improve your vocabulary, along with making yourself think .

This game makes you really think but I find that’s a good thing !! It’s helping me re-learn how to spell some of the word’s and make my Brain work harder!! And like for myself it’s gotten Lazy over the year’s!!! I Recommend Down Loading “Word Farm Adventure” to Everyone that’s getting up in Year’s and your Brain has gotten or heading in the direction of being Lazy !! Or you just like Crossword Puzzles 🧩!! Have an Excellent Time!!!

I have played so many word games I have lost count! But this one is above and beyond any of them! Gets boring fast just filling in the blanks. But this game has so many things going for it! You not only make words, but you get to fix up a farm! The characters are cute, their sassy responses are right on! And you get to choose exactly what you want! If you don’t like your choice, you can always change it with the flick of a finger! I love that it gives you definitions of all words, great for kids just learning words and definitions! You must try it, it is really fun! I’ve just started and already I’ve played three hours! Plus I see there are a few more different places to “fix up” after I’m done with the farm game. If I could, I’d give it six stars just because it is so different from all other word games! Sorry for the long winded review, but I just can’t say enough for all the fun this game is! ENJOY! You will love it!

This game actually surprised me. I wasn’t expecting it to be fun, but I was wrong. You’re playing through levels, and simultaneously cleaning up and rebuilding a farm with lots of carnival like appeal and charm to it. Extra boosts can be acquired watching a few adds, but they aren’t long. The only thing I’m not crazy about are the graphics, they could be better. I’d ultimately recommend it though, simply because it’s fun and can help pass the time if you need to if you’re waiting in the Dr.’s office, or on the train, etc.

But I don’t think you should have to pay you actual money to get my piggy bank open when it fills up every single day and it is not real money and I actually won the money in the first place then _YOU!!!! Decide That I need to say my money like I am a kid and don’t know how to save my own money but YOU DECIDE that YOU will take out part of my winnings and save it then when I fill it YOU WANT TWENTY BUCKS A DAY TO GET IT OUT!!!!

Besides that little glitch this would be the perfect game.

This game is so addicting, I have been playing this game for a month now, and every time I played this game I would play for at least a couple hours!! This game is great for all ages not just for children! And this game is not just informative but it’s also a LOT of fun! And this game helps expand your vocabulary just a little, more! I definitely would recommend this Game 100%!!🥳🤩

I love word games and I love farming games so if you’re like me I’d recommend downloading the game! It’s also a great way to kill some time versus staring at that analog clock ticking away on the wall of the doctors office and potentially experiencing an existential crisis as you watch time tick away.

Word Farm Adventure is a great game. All of the cutscenes and designs make it better! If you are wanting a different design, you can do it in less than 15 seconds. This game has so much to offer. The word puzzles are very fun and great for learning new words, that is because it tells you the definitions of them, which I think is very cool. Honestly one of the best games out there. Thanks for making it awesome.

I was in the most compromising position of my life, I was getting beat by 2 cops. They were beating the black off of me, when I remember word farm adventure. I told them about it and they immediately left me alone to play it. Now we’re bestfriends. Word Farm helped them look past their racist ways, they’re actually very interesting people. It’s crazy what you can learn about someone from word farm adventure. 5 stars

This is one of the best word games I’ve played, and I’ve played a lot! For one, many games are limited in what words are accepted. This one has an extensive word list, which makes it so much more fun. And adding the “decor” aspect gives you a sort of reward for completing the puzzles. The bonus rounds are great, too, to get a little extra money. Plus, you don’t get ads pushed on you every other minute! All around, A+!
