Can’t even open it

Unlike most other hockey apps when you look at player stats for a game there are no links on the player names to bring up additional data. There used to be, but not any more. With the latest update, when you look at scores, you can’t click on a game to bring up the box score. This is such a basic feature and it hasn’t worked for two weeks now. Every year the league tells us they’ve improved CHL to give us a better user experience but somehow regress and make it worse.

Click on anything, and CHL crashes. I’m stunned that it’s this bad.

Terrible. 20 clicks to find a player, rookie, dob, etc..

CHL is difficult to use at best. I want to see scores and schedules. All I can find is videos

CHL feels abandoned, the navigation and layout is horrible. Also the Apple TV app hasn’t worked for months. This is embarrassing for the leagues.

It’s a total waste. You have to work around with other apps to get league scores, for example. Whoever developed CHL must be related to league officials or other politically connected rich people .

Current version only shows game in list view by date. No calendar view.

One of the worst apps I’ve ever seen. Not even a clue what it’s supposed to do because the opening page is some idiotic “offers” page that has book offers, and no way out of it. Brutal.

I had high hopes that a new vendor would improve the streaming service, but it’s worse now! I don’t understand how the video quality can be so bad in the year 2021. And CHL itself is a battery killer. Used 25% of my battery while watching 8 minutes of a game.

Like I said, I was really hopeful that there would improvement with a new streaming vendor and a whole year off to get it together.

Purchased the season and playoffs pass, was able to watch 1 game before CHL started having issues. I contacted customer service, and they suggested refreshing, clearing, deleting and re downloading CHL . Didn’t work. I then gave up on it until the memorial cup started.

Same issue. Same suggestions. Now customer service tells me to just redownload it. Which doesn’t solve the issue. I deleted my account and customer service said they can’t refund it now that there’s no account.

So I re re redownloaded it expecting a refund. Instead they announced the generous offer of adding my subscriptions. Literally 2nd period of the final game.

It’s all bots in customer service. Do not support this aweful coloany.

You can no longer click on the score of a game and have the box score and details come up. It is frustrating not to be able to get details of the games. You have to go to eat team’s website. Total waste. Also, when you click on scores, it doesn’t go to the correct date. Just as frustrating is the fact in the score section you can only see 3 days worth. You can’t go back to check a score from a week ago. Also the delay in updating the scores is growing!!!!

The old app was waaaay better two or three years back. They need to go back to it!

I am guessing they don’t care but why are there ads in CHL? Why does the scores show games from two days ago and not default to today? Make CHL usable.

Please fix it before Memorial Cup starts.

I love hockey. But very frustrating when I tune to a game only to have no audio. Or when I get kicked out during a game. Hopefully the developers are working on these issues.

The photos of players are blurry/pixelated. But the biggest thing is, I watch more than one this app team and CHL won’t let me add more than one “favorite” team. I care about several prospects from my NHL team and would like to quickly access their info along that sidebar with the leagues. Would add at least one star if they fixed this.

Sure would be nice to be able to get away audio just like you do when streaming through a browser.

This is a great app! I’m not sure why all the complaints in the previous reviews because all the content and stats are there. You just have to know where to find it. Highlights are great and there are even options to listen to your favorite teams games.
