For different plans/events you should be able to change the color of the plans on the calendar and when you switch months calendars it should only show that month not the beginning of the next month and end of the next

I am a sophomore in high school with a very busy life. I have also just recently moved away from my (used to be) home town. I still would like to see my friends often, but it was always hard with everyone being so busy. Howbout makes it easier! Giving us a visual representation of when we can plan something together! On top of that, it’s just really cute, i love the gifs, i absolutely love the countdowns, and i find the group chats incredibly helpful!

Easy to use and intuitive

Couldn’t even get past start! It first asks for your phone # and then hit “continue”. It said my number had a problem and there was no further “fix” from there???

Love Howbout , super helpful. It would be nice if you can add multiple locations per event (for example if you are planning to meet w/ friends at the movies and getting ice cream afterward)

Great app for a group of 10 girlfriends with super busy schedules.

I can easily say that this is a really helpful calendar. I love the fact that we can make plans with no effort and that we have the opportunity to share our calendars with our friends. However something that annoys me is past events and the “time-travel” joke. I would really appreciate it if you could let us add events in past dates, because we might forget to add them beforehand but we want to have a calendar that has everything that happened this month.

I’ve been using Howbout for about a month now and I love it. Super easy to use and it’s made planning really fun and easy. I’ve always been bad at organizing but going into college, it’s really made the transition super easy. 10/10 app!

For developers: Please add a widget pretty please with a cherry on top

I love it so much. I’m constantly so busy and this has made the world the me for my family and friends. I’m 17 and am in college and high school and have lots of stuff to do with work and business. I’m just super freaking busy and it’s so hard to even try to plan. I had 6 physical calendars because digital literally NEVER worked for me. I recommend this highly and I don’t have to pay. I love it so much they are awesome

It doesn’t update my iPhone calendar with events anymore. If an event is updated in Howbout the wording doesn’t update my iPhone calendar. Minuswell use another app to create events. Thought it was great initially but no longer after these things happening.

even when u hit the refresh button on this app it still shows events that i have deleted on my calendar. i need to fix this because it just looks very cluttered

Can’t even get past start. Completely pointless and I should not have to message support to get started on an app. I don’t see the point in using something that has problems before I even create an account. Really dumb.

Me and my friends needed an app for scheduling since we were always planing something. This was absolutely perfect and it’s super cute! I love the feature where you can add a gif or picture to the cover of plans as well as messages.

It is now so easy to share ideas with your friends and family

Great way to connect with my very spread out group of friends.

I love my friends and having Howbout really supported my relationships. Now these friday nights are wildin.

I have weekly events set through a certain date, then they stop. On the this app calendar they never stopped being scheduled, they just kept going weekly. Extremely annoying, tried unlinking my calendar and relinking it, refreshing the calendar, and deleting and remaking the account.

Reporting bugs does not seem to be a simple process within Howbout and you are redirected to their website. Getting help, being all the way at the bottom of the site. And their FAQ section having absolutely nothing on how to reports bugs. The only option left is to email and hope *maybe* they see it.

I constantly have Howbout somehow turn off the shared schedules I have with friends and also somehow changes their colors without me doing anything. Another bug is constantly seeing Howbout have a notification both on the home screen and Howbout itself. To which there is no new notification, like its just stuck there and refuses to go away. Deleting Howbout and reinstalling does not fix the issue either.

this app is great! It makes planing things with friends so much easier. We all have busy schedules and so Howbout allows us to see when we each are available. It also really helps for spontaneous adventures as you can see if the person you want to hang out with is free that day.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars though is because of the color customization being locked behind having to invite 3 people to Howbout . I do not have 3 people to share this with and so It seems I am forever stuck with the inability to customize the color

Easy to use, very manageable, perfect for my friend group. In fact, I think I prefer it over my actual calendar app. I just wish you can have it as a widget on my iPhone, would make life much easier as someone who doesn’t tap into apps as frequently.

It’s a great organization tool for close people!

This is the best app for making group events. Gone are the days of annoying group chats. I love the polls, it’s so much easier to just have everyone vote on what day they can it. I definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. I use for my church group, rugby team, and the Super Bowl party that I’m having for my small friends group.

It’s annoying that you have to add friends who actually get app so that you can use all the features, but it works very well so far.

The developers must not actually use Howbout or they would fix the obvious glitches. My biggest complaint is that there is no word wrap in the details field. Text won’t fit and there is no way to drag or zoom out. Another: you cannot make edits to a plan without resending an invite to all. So… if you edit late at night and save then all the invitees get notified. Why?

Kind of pathetic that it’s mandatory to have at least 2 people in your contacts that uses Howbout. There’s only one person in my contacts that uses this and she was the one that invited me to use it. I can’t get past the setup without adding someone else. None of my friends are interested in Howbout , since we use something else due to us being nurses.

My friends and I were going to use this to coordinate our schedules but the set up requires 3 friends before you can even get into Howbout , and is not intuitive when it comes to adding friends. We ended up deleting it and finding another one.

Requiring 3 linked friends before you can even access Howbout is one of the most asinine, ridiculous things I’ve ever seen in my life.

This is a stupid app and I’m glad we realized that quickly. -12/10 do not recommend.

Howbout is designed to be non-functional until you’ve given it full access to everything in your calendar and everyone you know. That might be fine if I already trusted Howbout , or I’d already knew it does what I want, but I’m not going to start inviting my friends/ family to use an app that I don’t know already works. It takes a special kind of arrogance to think you get access to everyone I know just because I downloaded a stupid app…

Howbout is great but I wish I could put other plans and stuff in it

I was really excited to use Howbout for my boyfriend and I. I wanted us to be able to see each others schedule and be able to plan stuff together. The reason I’m disappointed is because you’re forced to add friends to be able to access Howbout . I don’t want other people to be able to see my schedule, I just wanted to share it with my boyfriend.

I love Howbout it keeps me extremely organized, but I definitely think if Howbout had a widget function for the I phone version it would be 5 star. Just the ability to not even open Howbout and see what i have going on today would be great

I just wanted this for myself and my best friend and was really excited about it but it’s not possible to use unless you invite 3 friends. Wish there was an option to just invite one friend to use. Regardless had to delete app and found another one. Don’t recommend unless you have at least 3 other people to share calendars with

We often have to schedule meetings via group chat and it wasn’t working due to us having school, work, and other things keeping us very busy. We needed something easy and visual to block off our schedules. Unfortunately this didn’t work. We are trying out time tree instead and it seems to work better

I am only writing this review to express how much i enjoy Howbout. its easy to use and helps me stay connected with my family. i just wish we had widgets we could add so i could see everything that was going on for that day !!

I wanted to use Howbout with my boyfriend and I was actually really excited so that we can coordinate plans together and see each other‘s work schedule, and you literally can’t move forward unless you have three friends to add. I want to use Howbout just with him. Ridiculous that this stops you from moving forward. Deleting
