Never deleted the stories written I just opened it one day and they were all gone. Be sure if you use it to send a pdf of any documents to another app or location because it won’t permanently hold onto them and the function is way overpriced (30 bucks a month to just type on your phone and having files just vanish is insane) Kept the downloads of other documents but not a good app for just writing stuff down and storing it.

Im a pretty large content creator in my own corner of the internet and I’ve been using Paper to keep my projects organized and I just opened it, prepared to post some of my prewritten projects only to find every single one is gone without a trace.
The composition of Paper is nice and i’ve enjoyed how neat it is but the fact i need to completely rewrite all of that is incredibly frustrating.

This game is awesome. I love it. It’s so useful. But, as I was using it to help with some suggestions, it started getting weird. It started talking about out-of-the-ordinary things. I I got confused, ‘cuz If you’d play the app like I do (Everyday, for a couple months) you’d be confused. And Idk if other people are having this problem, but it’s really annoying. I deleted Paper and downloaded it agin. Not really helpful.

It’s was just an outstanding app, and I just wish it wasn’t like this. I hope the editors of Paper would fix this.

I don't mind not having the type writing sounds, but they don't work on my end for some reason. The only real complaint I have otherwise is that I wish there were more fonts!

Onto why I gave it five stars? It’s a great app, fantastic in formatting, and extremely aesthetically pleasing (as well as entirely customizable)

The pro features, for me, were worth the purchase. I’m stuck with monthly until I save enough for the lifetime, but the fact that it lets you mess around with and test pro features instead of locking them behind a paywall (a reason I do not like a lot of apps. They don't let you try the features until you start a subscription or trial you may very well forget about, if it even gives yo a trial) is extremely nice. I was looking for an app that looks and feels sleek so I can sit and write, but I found this! Fully customizable. Gotta say, I like it a lot more than I thought I would. My complaints are minuscule. You don't even have to necessarily trust me on it: jump in and try it yourself. It lets you test every single feature it has.

This is a really nicely built app—it’s as clean and minimal as the Markdown format, powerful enough to meet any Markdown editing needs, highly performant, beautiful, and easy to use. The dev is super nice as well, answering my questions quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend Paper for editing everything from READMEs to novels.

-I write a lot and Paper has such good design and interface. I especially love the font selections. It’s just so pleasing to my eyes.

-I bought the lifetime pro version on my MacBook and it is so so worth it. I’ve just been happily writing in between classes and in bed.

-Try out the pro features first, and then I highly recommend purchasing it after if you’re satisfied 😊

I’m writing my autobiography and enjoying convenience and simplicity of Paper very much. The fact that you can write out a thought process title it and save it automatically, and directly to your file folder on your phone is awesome.

I’ve tried out so many different apps and softwares to scratch my itch for a truly distraction free writing space that’s also pleasing to the eye, and I finally found it with this app. I have absolutely no complaints. It’s a hidden gem.

I’ve been using Paper for about three, almost four years, and I love it!! It was so easy for younger me to use, and it’s just so perfect if you’d like to write a book!! I’m soon going to be writing a book about Alterhumanity, and I’ll be using this!! Thank you so much!!!!!

This is the first app review I’ve written, and will likely be the last. But people need to know how excellent this writing app is — I’ve tried them all, and spent a fortune along the way. this app includes the best features of the others, and avoids their flaws. It is the best writing app on the market.

When I first got Paper , I thought it was all plain but no I was totally wrong when I started it was pretty bad, but as a personal author myself this is the best app I could get it’s perfect for me. I cannot understand how they’re so good when you think of it it’s actually just like a typewriting. All of it is free best app ever recommended a lot. 🌾

I have tried more than 20 different plain text editors from Paper Store and this is the best. I just need a plain text editor that can perform search and this does it very well. Many plain text editors don’t have a search function. One app that has the search function requires 3 clicks before you can start searching. Other text editors have fonts that are so tiny (which can’t be adjusted) that it really strains the eye to read my notes. I don’t have any use for most of the premium features since I just want a plain text editor with search function. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the 1.5 line spacing. If the default was single line spacing, this would be the perfect app for me. And I’m happy to pay a few dollars just for this function. Would Mihhail consider different pricing for different features? For example, a one-off purchase for plain text features such as font size, type and line spacing?

Like others, I tried many apps before finding this one. It does pretty much everything that I need. I am still learning about it as I work with it. Would appreciate being able to color different parts of my text different colors. If I can figure out how to get the colors I want , then this will be the perfect thing. If I have to get the pro version then I will.

OMG! Paper , “this app” is just what I’ve been looking for…. for years and years, ad-nauseating me! I’ll be able to sleep better tonight!

I don’t want an editor that interjects its interpretation of what I am typing into the file. I’m pressing “A” “B” “C” “D”s on the keyboard, I want precisely corresponding “A” “B” “C” “D”s in the file.

IOS would insist on opening .txt files in Numbers. Installing this program fixed that problem.

Functional, clean, affective, and the text line thing has cute animations that add personality. For example, when you leave your phone on Paper for a while in a page, the text line thing will flop over and sleep until you come back. A little thing they didn’t have to do, but did anyway! I recommend Paper if you want a simple writing app without distractions or confusing controls.

I reviewed the Mac version of Paper a couple years ago. I thought I’d review this version as well so when I found out I didn’t I had to immediately. Been using the mobile app for around two years as well and its wonderful. If you’re interested in minimalist writing, Paper is for you. It’s pared down but not missing any vital features. It’s expensive, I’ll admit, but the devs got to eat, and it’s worth it. Couldn’t recommend more strongly.

I downloaded Paper today, and I’m in love with it. It’s so easy, it’s so minimalist. It’s actually so perfect. I start a lot of stories and never finish them, so it’s nice to have an app that I can start lots of stories with. This is quite possibly the best writing app I’ve ever downloaded and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to write. I have absolutely no complaints about Paper. Also love the fact that basically every review I’ve seen the developer has made a comment on. Makes Paper feel so much real and kinda like a family in a way, though that may be just me. But anyways, love love love.

Loving Paper. A perfect, focus-based, smooth and beautiful interface with exactly the customization options you want (and not having to sift through those that you don’t want). After searching (and buying) so many apps like this, this is the one. Spellcheck works as you type (which seems to fail on iPad apps like Scrivener sometimes). Also, with a few settings changes, you can also make this a full-screen writing interface only (with zero menu bars on the screen). Syncs really fast and exporting to formats like Word (for my Editor) works perfectly as well. Bonus: the developer is very quick to reply to any questions.

Updated: The developer of Paper is incredibly responsive and immediately set to figuring out what was going on after my initial review where i had some lagging issues with certain features of Paper . With in a week they had the problem fixed and now Paper works wonderfully! Not only is it the best app I've found for minimal no distraction writing, I am glad to know the developer provides a direct way to talk to them if there is ever any problems that is built right into Paper .

The premium features cost a decent amount, but for me, it was totally worth it. You are able to customize your writing experience, which is something I value greatly to keep me focused. You are also allowed to try out the features for as long as you like before buying, which is another great plus.

I have been using this app for my writing for over a year and have been very pleased with the results and highly recommended it to others!
