Divtracker Dividend Tracker Reviews

I have a number of equities across several different financial institutions, and despite subscribing to some of the big portfolio trackers, like SeekingAlpha, MorningStar, Yahoo Finance, and Mad Dividends, I still wasn’t getting what I needed for tracking my dividend stocks and planning my future investments. Dividend Tracker admittedly has a “different” UI, and it takes a bit of practice to get to know the many features, but I find myself referring back to it again and again now. It has truly become indispensable to me as a dividend-focused investor.

And at least one other reviewer mentioned the amazing support, and it’s true. If DivtrackerDividendTracker does crash, there’s an option to send a report to the developer. Well, after a few crashes on my device (for which I chose to send the report to the Dev), they emailed me, telling me they identified the issue and had a fix in the works. It hasn’t crashed for me since then. I also sent them an email requesting a couple of features and they wrote back within an hour or so, telling me how to find one (what I wanted was already there - I just didn’t know how to do it), and telling me they’d look into the other.

Aside from maybe Mail and Messages, this may very well be my most used app now.

At a glance, I think DivtrackerDividendTracker will do just about everything I am looking for. Tracks my owned stocks, lets me set up multiple portfolios for my brokerage account and my Roth IRA, estimates dividend income, etc. I’d love to give this 5 stars. I’d also probably love to purchase the premium lifetime platinum (though a trial first might be nice).

Where things get dicey is when DivtrackerDividendTracker Store listing shows premium platinum as $50 for life but then in DivtrackerDividendTracker itself it is double that. Then, poking around DivtrackerDividendTracker to try and find a contact form to ask support about it, the ads are so bad that navigation is unbearable. When I finally got to the support section, there is a physical mailing address, but that’s it. Then the “contact us” section says something about a phone number, but nothing is listed....last, but not least, when I open the support page in a web browser, Safari alerts me that the page is not secure.

Edit: I did find an email option in DivtrackerDividendTracker ; might be prudent to remove the other contact us section if that is the intended method of contact.

Relatively beginner investor with a long & hold buying strategy. Because of this, I take dividend payments into account when making investment decisions. DivtrackerDividendTracker’s projections estimates saves me a ton of time instead of having to find my average projected dividends with a pencil and a calculator.
Their updates for keeping track of companies’ payments growths/cuts as well my general account growth gives me very useful information while building on my investment strategy.
The related articles when you select a stock is very useful for finding fast reports/information about different companies that I’m invested/planning to invest in.
I notified their team of an error on one of my estimated dividend yields, and they fixed the error in less than 24 hours! Extremely good support!
Very impressed in every way! Great app overall! There’s a reason why it’s rated 4.9/5 right now! Keep up the great work DivTracker team!

(P.s. this is not one of those “oh, obviously the developer is self-promoting by writing their own review about how amazing DivtrackerDividendTracker is!” type reviews. I mean every word)

I got DivtrackerDividendTracker probably a year or so ago and it has easily paid for itself. For the most part it’s pretty simplistic and easy to use. You can look up pretty much any start and determine whether it pays dividends at all, or if the dividends are paid quarterly or monthly etc. which is nice if you’re looking for growth at a monthly basis which I am. It also allows you to go through and have multiple profiles which will show you a running tally of how much each one of your profiles has invested all together.

App is simple and easy to navigate but it has glitches, it will not open now saying I have to update to the latest version which is the version I have... I do not want to delete DivtrackerDividendTracker and reinstall as I am using the free version and will lose all my data...

I feel like within the past few weeks or months many features are blocked off behind a pay wall. I don’t expect to be able to get deep data for free(ad supported) but I can’t even look at a breakout of my portfolio or see dividend changes without being asked to buy a subscription. I can still see my monthly payouts but that’s it. Really disappointing because I spend a decent amount of time on DivtrackerDividendTracker so they are getting paid with all the ads I see. I don’t need to have full access for free but you have reduced the usefulness of DivtrackerDividendTracker and I will go download another

This is the absolute best app for tracking dividends! I really love the feature that shows a calendar with all the upcoming distribution dates. Another really useful feature is that it will show your estimated yearly income from all of your investments. It makes life so much easier without the need for spreadsheets and manual calculations. I had a minor issue awhile back, but the developers responded very quickly to address the problem. If you are an income investor, this is DivtrackerDividendTracker for you!

DivtrackerDividendTracker provides a calendar to show when to expect dividends, how much per share and the total. It also provides a picture of each stock’s gain or loss since purchase. In addition, the developer has quickly responded to the few glitches I have come across and emailed to him. I am still learning DivtrackerDividendTracker and know it has features I have not yet used, but I am confident that these will compliment the easy but powerful features I have used. George

Update: I think DivtrackerDividendTracker is abandoned or fully automated. Some features appear to haven’t been working for months.
I give DivtrackerDividendTracker five stars for all the features. Though, be sure to read the fine print as the data is not required to be accurate. If anyone is aware of an app with the same features, but with actual accurate data please let me know. Thanks

Don’t get all the less than stellar reviews. My experience has been great so far. This is really the only app that provides comprehensive dividend tracking by month, quarter or year. It gives raise and lower info on an easy to read chart and lots of company reviews from different sources. My request for help email was answered in an hour. I’m thinking about the lifetime option because DivtrackerDividendTracker makes my life easier.

Man, I seriously hope you support DivtrackerDividendTracker forever... this has made things so much easier and cleaner. I’m truly a dividend nerd! I love knowing all the details, graphs, projections, etc and DivtrackerDividendTracker has it all. Almost anything you’d ever want. I bought the lifetime like 6 months ago and I’m always pleasantly surprised with the constant upgrades and improvements.

I love DivtrackerDividendTracker ’s format, features and sophisticated interface. The problem is that all of the payment dates are wrong. I have three other dividend apps that report exactly as the should, but DivtrackerDividendTracker is reporting payment dates that in no way are even close to being correct. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I have reported the issue and there does not seem to be any fixes. I would strongly recommend you compare your results with some other web-based data source. If you can’t trust the results, DivtrackerDividendTracker is of no value regardless of how pretty and detailed it is.

I initially gave DivtrackerDividendTracker a one star, I was going to change to 3 after the devs responded and were very quick and helpful to figure why I was in happy. I was kind of quick to judge and was frustrated with what I thought was DivtrackerDividendTracker . It was a mistake on my part and I’ve grown to really like DivtrackerDividendTracker. The addition of the yield on cost has been, in my opinion one of the major improvements. Keep up the good work.

For investors that need to track and forecast dividend income, this is the best app for that. Even more features will make you pleased you chose this instead of the others.

Support is the best I have experienced for an app or any software for that matter. I had one issue of concern and a support response was quick, and the solution was even faster!

You can’t go wrong with this one.

I like Fidelity Investments but there’s no way to track your dividends. I used to do it manually with a spreadsheet so I was very pleased to see this ad pop up. I’m very satisfied with DivtrackerDividendTracker , I’m even considering the subscription, it’s got everything you want including a calendar, I really don’t know what else to say. Thanks!!

Hello. Love DivtrackerDividendTracker . However, when I opened it up today, I’m getting a error screen. Tried sending it to you via your website address but there seems to be a form issue so hopefully you’ll get this here. Took a picture of it in the hopes of sending it to you but I don’t see the option on here to do so.

Overall I like DivtrackerDividendTracker and the user interface. Fixes: 1. Ex-div planner layout is terrible. You have to keep scrolling to the right to view the entire information and there’s a lag. Use smaller font or do 2 lines. 2. Unable to export pay dates, ex-div date to my IPhone calendar. I follow the directions but keep getting the same error message 3. Dividend changes are not updated 4. The pie charts can be more appealing. Better colors and better organization. I would love to see a pie chart with %assetts and %div Thanks

Many of my tickers don’t update so DivtrackerDividendTracker is useless. I contacted their “support” several times but only got a auto generated canned email response and no further update. I am starting to wonder whether this company really exists any longer. Certainly there is no support in place and no way to contact them except by email and that only yields auto generated responses but nothing else. Nobody is minding their store, managing their database or fixing their bugs. DivtrackerDividendTracker is a waste of time.

This would be an awesome app if it worked properly. When using the drip feature, it way overstates how many shares you receive so you have to manually correct it to reflect your actual number of shares. DivtrackerDividendTracker is slow in updating any dividend increases or decreases. I would not rely on DivtrackerDividendTracker for accurate information but it’s fun to play around with.

You will definitely get your moneys worth on this. Do yourself a favor and get the platinum version, and sit back and watch the dividends come in. It’s such a beautiful and clean layout, especially with all the advances in IOS Upgrade systems.

Update fixed the biometric login, I’ve not reimplemented it but happy I can login.

I enjoy the interface, love the layout but that’s about it. So great for a nice dividend tracker that doesn’t require you to access your brokerage account. Also love the technical updates on stocks followed, I’m finding this helpful insight.

What it’s lacking... So far DRIP has not worked but hoping after recent update that will resolved. The news cycle/updates are not current. The research center is good for beginners as simply categorizes stocks, no way to filter etc.. has a lot of potential and would love to see more analysis tools.

“When, what and how much is my next dividend?” Sometimes I don’t want to have to login to my accounts on my laptop to see this information. Divtracker shows this in an elegant manner, with nice pictures. And it’s FREE! Although I am going to purchase the ad removal because I hate ads.
