I tried

I downloaded the game and instantly fell in love. I’m a strategy and RTS fan heavily influenced by Red Alert and Tiberium Sun and so this game really scratched that itch and then some. Fast forward to today and sadly I’m deleting it because of such a simple yet very frustrating problem: foot soldiers are destroying my mechs. Not sure if it’s a bug or what, but I had my country decked out with a superb economy and let no land go to waste. Waited out my adversary (Canada) and when he made his move I had battalions of mechs and hunter mechs waiting. The conflict started out strong I was not just holding him back but he couldn’t seem to estimate just how many mechs I had, that’s when he started sending waves of foot soldiers. This is where my gripe begins. How in the world are simple soldiers with an average damage of 4 going to utterly destroy my tier 3 mechs and hunter mechs? Why am I watching foot soldiers destroy them with ease? You guys almost had me dead set on this game but such a trivial fundamental flaw turned me away. Great game and concept but…jarring to say the least.

I get real time, but could use some tweaking to make it loads more fun!

I get that the time pace is supposed to act like full war, but early players such as myself have a poor chance against other players. Just starting off and you have to immediately wait at least 10 hours to progress through the next part. I actually started yesterday, and before I got back I was already being raided and all I had was a few troops and they had a full fledged army. I have explored the game and it’s features on how to progress faster, but of course it is pay to play. No one likes that give gamers a chance, this game has so much potential even though it’s in its final developments. Some key things that I would think this game would be more fun. Make smaller units take wayyyyy less time like 10 minutes instead of hours. And have mechs or war machines be a few hours. And buildings can be around the same as mechs. Make a way to increase resource income, if I can’t be able to get more resources I can’t do much of anything. I have high hopes for this game truly. I hope you take our feedback into consideration, you guys can really make this game awesome like the ones of old like clash of clans.
Keep it up love the work and ideas. Most of all make them playable for all.

There should be more stuff!

When you first start you will not be able to get to much stuff because of a rookie mistake. When there is not enough materials to start with it leaves you to go with 2 choices make people or start building. When you can not do both make materials and get people it makes the game way worse because people can take advantage and you can also run out of options after you lose your materials.

Also the new update is absolutely horrible because it makes sense to have a secret lab for vehicles but for people 😡. You guys could have mad a barracks level 4 for the commandos but instead you make them have a secret lab. This makes the game so much worse. There are probably a whole bunch of other people out there like me who agree of this.

For new players. If this is your first time playing delete the game because it takes to much skill and there are to many people who play this game every day. They do absolutely nothing all day but play this so when you have something to do say goodbye to your game. There for this is why you guys get a 3 star review.

Good game, major problems though

One of my first major concerns is how long it takes to actually do things, your FIRST upgrades already start taking 17 hours, or 23 hours it’d insane, to attack people or move troops takes incredibly long as well, first time trying to do something to another land literally took me 4 hours of real life waiting, that’s insane, I immediately uninstalled because who has time to actually wait hours for something in your mobile game to activate? makes no sense, and for that alone I wouldn’t recommend this game.
Another thing would be it’d kind of unclear how to get more resources at first for building and training troops, it’s just all around a wait time and I think this is one of those games that uses your information once you put it in, another reason I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

My Favorite Game

Iron Order 1919 is my personal favorite game! I’ve fought tooth in nail in this game and it really is a joy!

However I have a small list of things that I think would make the game ever more spectacular!

1: Customization, adding skins and personal touches to the game would make the experience much more immersive and enjoyable. Being able to name your own nation, design your own flag, and customize the look of your troops would be amazing!

2: More troops, adding more mechs and troop types would be super great for the longevity of the game! Along with this, adding new special moves like chemical weapons which would be similar to firestorms add more ways to play!

3: More WW1 content + Troop customization, lastly one of my favorite suggestions would be to create and equip your own types of infantry and mechs! (Similar to how you can customize divisions in HOI4). Along with adding more WW1 content to the game like Trenchs (which would be a constructible on rural provinces), Observation balloons, and cathedrals to improve moral!

I personally love Iron Order, it’s my favorite game and I hope to see more done with it!

Cheers,
Diesel Toms Imperium

Very good game but just some ideas

I really like the idea and the game in general but I have a problem with it, every single type of weaponry takes hours to move to attack. I would love it if you made the light weight troops be fast, like Blitzkrieg fast, 10-20 minutes. The mechs and all that heavy machinery can take hours and it makes sense. But please make the light weight troops faster. The second idea is single player. A place where chill players can have fun and not be too competitive or where new players can learn how to play easier instead of joining in a match with pro veterans of the game. Other than that the game is amazing.

Love this game

This is a phenomenal game and makes great improvements to Supremacy 1914. I think the research tree allows for diverse strategies and units not being passively produced creates more engagement with the game. I am especially fond of the idea of cities being the only place troops and certain buildings can be produced, it makes attacking certain points of enemy territory feel more engaging as you can actually tell what areas matter more. I think the only thing I wish would be added is a single player mode where you can play against just AI to better hone your skills and strategy, it could also allow people to try out different nations to see what they like.

If you’re looking for a Risk-like phone RTS game, this may be it

Can’t stop playing this game now 7 days straight. Was pretty confusing at first and of course slow(as are all Real-time strategy games) and especially because the tutorial bugged out on me and stopped teaching me things so I almost gave up on it the first day… Glad I didn’t! This was the perfect fix for me wanting more Risk type games on my phone and I wanted a simple “modern” era game. Of course it’s 1919 but it’s not the Roman’s or medieval or pirates or my other current game (LotR). Give it a try, and have patience. You can play free but you just wait a little longer. BEST PART IS THAT ITS NOT OVERLY POPULAR YET SO ITS EASY TO GET IN A GAME WITH PLENTY OF AFK OR CPU PLAYERS THAT YOU CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EARLY ON.

Best mobile game ever

I’ve been searching for a game like this for years. It’s a perfect blend of everything. It’s amazing. It does have some bugs but none are game breaking. There’s no pay to win. If you spend money it’s just to boost you. Now theoretically you could pay to win but only if you spend like a 1000$ on a mobile game. Which means no one will do that. And that’s still doesn’t mean you’ll win. This game is amazing and you have to try it. Especially if you like games I’m the total war fashion or civilization. I would also compare this game to Stellaris. Now it isn’t near as complex as those games. But it does have the same feel in terms of conquest. And they optimized it for the mobile setting and it just handles great.

A game I’ll keep playing, four stars

This is an amazing game if you like strategy. There’s a lot to think about and do, and even though there are in app purchases the developers have done a great job with balancing. Buying gold (which can do A LOT) isn’t too over powered, as there’s one resource called Manpower that you can’t buy. It crucial to you’re army but can only be generated given time. This adds a very nice way to limit spenders but also super strong players from becoming too overwhelming as everyone has to wait for their manpower to accumulate. This is a great game. I only put 4 stars though Bc I can’t sit down grind this game when I want due to the long production time everything has, which is irl time, but I know we have to have it to make this game as balanced as it is. Great game, Download it

Also if you’re new:
Coalitions are super strong especially if they’re your immediate neighbor

Take time to increase your infrastructure as it’ll help a lot

Let units sit in your territory and they’ll receive 3% health back (a day?) this is the only way to increase health of a damaged unit other than using gold

One of a kind

There are many unique games out there, but this one takes the cake. Before I talk about the game, if you don’t have much patients or don’t like non-casual games, this game is not for you. After all, a single game can take months straight. Anyways, this game is unique because of the backstory of history happening different in WWl, and the concept of the realistic travel speed of units and realistic time it would take to got from point A to point B makes the game perfect for all of those diehard offensive people and content defensive players (The game itself is way way better than what the adds show). It’s hard to explain the rest but I recommend downloading this game to look at the full glory. No wonder this game has an almost perfect review on AppStore!

I’m hooked

I used to not have the patience to play these games simply because of the time it took to move/train troops and construct buildings. Now, however, I’m absolutely hooked by this. The more realistic time allows for better strategizing and you can always upgrade your railways to speed up troop movement. This is about the closest we’ll get to a mobile Hearts of Iron game. That being said, and this will be a bit of a stretch, I’m sure: since the resources for AI nations are there, consider making an offline mode and decreasing the time it takes to move/train/construct for those of us who just want to come in, build up our nation, pause, and get back to it when we’re done with our day. This really has the potential to become the greatest mobile strategy game.

Here’s an Idea

Y’all should make this game instead of just iron order after world war 2 you should expand the game to do multiple types of games from different ERAs all across time. Y’all should add in a historical order of battle to provide realism from different time periods. For example if you did a Cold War. Russia and USA have a lot more troops that are a lot more advanced with nukes rather as a country like Venezuela would not have as advanced or as many troops. Do this much like the historical world war 2 game mode in call of war. If not going through this route of multiple ERAs I recommend a few more game modes than just the Europe one. Include a World game mode. Add in realistic order of battles so like bigger nations that are still holding onto their lands such as the British empire have a big size fleet like call of war historical world war 2 game mode. At least having one of these game modes like this makes it fun for us roleplayers who look for this game mode in the game.

Really good game

At first the whole real time strategy game made me lose interest but I kinda just started like 10 games at once and that really picked things up. Idk if i’d suggest that for everyone though but this game is super fun if you invest time into it, The factions could be fleshed out a bit more and I would love some more content in the form of either new troops or events with a bit of story (maybe like bots could have predetermined actions like a giant nations surrounded by players or something to force more interaction between them). Or maybe even new maps like entirely made up continents. Either way i’m probably gonna put more time into this game and Id love to see this grow because it does seem like the devs listen because of the way they write their patch notes.

Amazing game absolutely love it don’t want anything changed except for…

I wish that with different armies and stuff that there would be different backgrounds for it like the hunter or medium mechs I also wish that anything in the army you have would show up on the army’s picture for example my friends titan division shows infantry and a heavy mech which he doesn’t even have in the army I just wish that there was a couple different little things like also the fact that tanks can’t conquer anything and I get it it’s on the combat tree but realistically tanks were one of the main sources of conquering and I don’t mean just make it so that why tanks can conquer it should be an ability that you need to level them up for that’s all I’m saying or like have a more than level one heavy factory

Awesome game but..

I think this game is an amazing and awesome game, but I do think you should add a sandbox mode for new players, so they can get a good understanding of how the game works and be able to experiment with different types of tactics and units without actually having to go into a public match against other players. Not only would this be useful for new players, but it would have ordered more season players a chance to relax and have some fun with the games cooler units like the landship or the panzerzeppelin. ( two units that in my opinion are very hard to get going in the game.) I also think. That you should be able to name the bigger units like the landship and Pantherzeppelins.
I also just remembered this. I think it would be amazing to see this game as a board game with miniatures. (but that’s just an opinion.)

I agree with another review

I just read a review by ableraptor, I agree with the I’m hooked part and this game is by far the best game I’ve played since I discovered that my iPhone won’t download games from the google play store. Otherwise I’d still be hooked on “Duplicity” or “Conspiracy .” Also I agree absolutely that an offline version should at least be a explored, as sometimes I am too busy with work and life to be able to give the game sufficient attention to be able to actually have a chance of winning or even just scoring higher. I think many would agree that having an offline version with only AI opponents, where one could play w.o. Being pressured by life’s constraints would be amazing and allow people to get more familiar with gameplay and strategy before being thrown, as it were, into the melee of players who care less if you fully grasp the games’ nuances.

Chat improvement

i have a feature that I think would be beneficial the chat function could be better because unless you’re in a coalition with people there’s no groupchat function and the community in this game really role play which I love so when you’re trying to communicate battle with other nations not in your coalition it becomes a task to text them separately other than that this is a Great game you really can’t blutzkrieg your way through unless you’ve built up infrastructure the game is good at not being pay to win with the extent of a rich person playing you can buy $100 of gold and it will get you nothing in the grand scheme of the game you’d need to spend a couple hundred to even “pay to win” so you don’t ever get someone paying for gold and if you do it’s the $1 purchase of gold to help heal your troops or speed up your garrison troops cause you’re losing troops or something small like that

Addictive, had to take a break

Great game if you love the tempo and strategic games, this can be great fun. There are actual strategic possibilities (flanking, surprise, concentrate/ dissipate forces, etc), which you don’t always get with this genre. Nice idea and set up (early 1900’s mechs), felt like a good balance strategically, with room to develop the game or future iterations (more terrain, morale, espionage, etc.). Negs: there is definitely a ‘pay to win’ aspect (honestly, wish they could just run the ads and be done). However that can be eased with coalitions and you can play multiple maps at once, so that when someone buys their way to a Titan you can easily move on. If only life were that simple. Only other negative was that, like with a lot of strategy games, trolls are part of the scenery. Mostly civil, though. All consuming, constantly worrying if someone was flanking my armies while I slept. Had to take a break, but will definitely come back.

Phenomenal game!

When I first saw this game I thought it was just some cheesy, poorly done phone game like so many others. The first impression wasn’t overly great, as I was initially hung up on the graphics/art design. But then I started playing it and the gameplay is fantastic! The factions are fun, the troop diversity and strengths and weaknesses make for strategic playing, and the fact that everything takes a while to upgrade, research, and move around kind of takes the edge off and I feel like I can go to work or to bed and not have too much happen while I’m gone. Anyway, this is a phenomenal alternative history strategy game and I highly recommend it.
