I would really like Blockscapes if it came with instructions. I mean it’s obvious what u need to do but sometimes I only get a few moves other times I keep going. I see that if I keep clearing rows with every move I get more moves. But sometimes I clearing rows and Only get a few moves. So instructions on why only a few moves. Can’t find anything on internet to explain. Next way too many ads I may not last much longer without instructions and a ton of ads so what I’ve found after playing enough when they give u the blocks they already know u can’t win with the blocks they give u. So sometimes u pay 6-7 moves they end it u have to watch the never ending ads I guess they figure players to stupid to realize. I have a college degree and that’s not the Case here. My s ores usually around 200 I look on leaderboard there’s people in the 3,000. NO WAY those are people who work for Blockscapes and a given a winning screen

If I could give 0 stars following the recent update I would. Playing tournaments on the weekends heavily relies on the game’s ability to remain in communication with the internet. Over the last two days I’ve been booted to “offline status” at least 30 times, and it’s frustrating when attempting to compete against outstanding players who all have close scores for the grand prize. Players who are booted to “offline status” while playing a round lose all of their tournament points. Combine this with the overwhelming amount of ads (with no offer to permanently turn ads off), and I’m feeling like app deletion is getting closer. This issue needs to be fixed expeditiously. You’re making a lot of money off of us players viewing the tedious ads after each round of play, I expect a higher level of technology to be met.

I almost clicked to remove ads for $3.99, but caught the “remove ads FOR 30 DAYS” before I paid. No, thanks, I don’t need a game that costs more annually than most utility apps out there. Without this option, the ads are relentless. Another scummy mobile setup.

UPDATE: The developer response is correct FOR A DIFFERENT GAME, you can in fact pay to remove ads permanently in Wordscapes. I purchased it myself, which is why I tried it again! Unfortunately, this is a review for this app, which is a different game with infinitely worse monetization. I even reinstalled it to make sure I hadn’t missed the option — it isn’t there. This company knows how to make and support a reasonably priced game, but this remains a shoddy and grasping experiment in the kind of trash pricing that ruined mobile games.

This is a good game but the monthly award is equal to the value I would earn watching an ad. Additionally you have to pay every time you want to rotate a cube and the cost is high…watch 2 ads or pay. Even if you choose not to watch ads to buy boost you still have to watch an ad when you complete a game. Finally the x button on the ad does not work well. You can tap the button and it keeps opening Blockscapes Store page for the ads or the x button is just not available and you lose the reward you earned for watching the ad. As I say this is a good puzzle game. However the amount of ads have made it unenjoyable and unplayable. I am uninstalling Blockscapes.

Since the last update for Blockscapes, I have been unable to access it. At first Blockscapes crashed about every 15 seconds. Then is started crashing more frequently. I reached out to support, and I could not write a full sentence before crashing. It took 7 tries to enter one sentence. Now Blockscapes opens and crashes before a screen ever opens. I rate a 2 because someone from support tried to help, but since communication is no longer possible, I am blocked from this app which was one of my favorite apps. I use an iPad Air to access, and I have done all updates for it. I hope your team can correct this issue.

The ads don’t really bother me so much. I just wait for them to end and exit out of them. Sometimes I’m even interested in some of the other games advertised. Thankfully, I haven’t come across any inappropriate/unpleasant ads like I’ve seen in some of the other reviews, and I’m new to the game so unfortunately, I can’t relate as far as knowing why the update was so terrible either. What I do hate, and I’ve only seen two other reviews mention it so far, is being forced to use pieces that kinda screw your whole game over. I’ll have a nice round one minute and rack up some decent points, the next round though, I’m losing almost immediately because of the pieces I’m forced to work with. Gives me that ‘project makeover’ vibe where you’re forced to lose so you have to spend money. Doesn’t really make sense here considering the only real in-app purchase I’ve seen, is to remove the ads. I can accept losing a round, or not making a lot of points because of an error on my part, but when I line the pieces up to where I could knock out several blocks at once just to be given a bizarre or inconvenient block that I can’t even at least orientate to help me out more, it’s kind of annoying. Would really prefer to give 2 1/2 stars instead of 3 just for that alone. If I experienced what others have expressed displeasure with though, I’d definitely be rating much lower.

The game itself is fun, and I would give it 5 stars if I were only rating the game itself. The ads have become a problem. I understand there has to be ads in order for the game to be free, but they have become impossible to click out of. Even if I wait a few seconds (longer than other games) to click out of, the ad will not go away. Lately, I have had to completely close out of the game in order to make the ad go away, which becomes frustrating. By this point, I no longer want to play.

My brain totally loves this game. When I first downloaded it a few months back, I was able to beat my original high score (2400) by a few points every 5th game or so. Now I am lucky to hit 1000 every 10th game or so. From what I understand the shapes are chosen at random and if I were the developers I would take a look at the randomness algorithm. I'm a fairy intelligent person who is usually good at games like this. What makes me keep playing is that I want to beat my high score, because who doesn't love improving? I've tried really analyzing every move and trying to strategically place shapes that leave room for the large pieces. Nothing I do matters when the game gives me back to back nine by nine squares and a huge L piece 10 moves in. I'm not saying I will abandon the game totally but I do get frustrated and often left scratching my head about the world leader right now who has a high score of over 100,000.

I’m a hug fan if Blockscapes. The gameplay is great and I’ve even gotten past the pile of ads because the whole point of the game for me is to not be in a rush so I’ll deal with the interruptions. However this latest update has ruined the visual appeal of Blockscapes for me. I love all the beautiful backgrounds and up until this last update the playing space was dark or blended in nicely with the background colors. Now the game board and upcoming tiles box, which collectively take up a majority of the screen, are almost solid white. I’m sure that helps render your much more realistic tiles easier, but for someone that has fully embraced dark mode on every app they have, it is an assault on the eyes and it almost negates the calm I experienced when playing before. Please do something to darken the game board like before or offer a dark mode. I’ll go back to 5 stars if that update comes. Thanks

Most of the reviews are irritated at the ads. I’m not one of them I am irritated by the block selections. I can have the board filled just enough to need a couple of small blocks to be able to wipe out most of my board and the next three block patterns are the biggest on the board. Or I keep getting hit with the 3x3 blocks over and over again making it impossible to actually get any kind of score. December I was able to get 1500 and now I can’t seem to get past 400 because I’m constantly getting huge pieces and it fills the board to fast.

I really like this game and the gameplay itself is fun, challenging and addicting but the Ads get repetitive and annoying. Please add an option to pay to remove them. I’d pay to not have to deal with ads every single time I have to go through a level. Some of them refuse to go away, some crash my game and some are just so irritating that I end up putting the game down all together because I get tired of having to deal with them. At this rate I’ll end up getting too frustrated with the Ads alone and end up deleting the game

After playing awhile, I learned how to better leave the space open for bigger pieces. My last game started to feel like it could go forever as long as I didn’t make a mistake. Problem was, by the time I had over 10k points, the game kept freezing during nearly every move. I’m on an iPhone 7 Plus which appears to still have plenty of memory so I don’t know if the game is using a high level of resources or would be better suited to a newer phone.

It’s a relaxing way to exercise your mind. The visuals and music go well together. The ads at the bottom don’t bother me. Most of the other ads you can skip through quickly. I don’t use the “cheats” at all. The magnet, or fill bucket or rotate options. I do not know why coins are collected, or why you would buy them. They cannot be spent on anything at all. My iPad is not updated to the most current version, perhaps that is the reason. All-in-all it is one of the few games I have on my iPad that I play regularly. I enjoy the challenge. Most games I try have annoying ad patterns and get deleted within a short period.

And when I say stuck I mean stuck on your phone because it’s so addicting and hard to put down. Trying to get a higher score than you previously got is rewarding unlike other games where just winning is worth it but this one makes me want to do better than before. I wish though it had an Undo button that can only be used once per game. That is all. Thanks!

this app is a cleverly made game. The gameplay is very interesting, with these shaped block pieces you need to try to fit in the square space. It’s really fun to see how much you can fit before you either clear a full row, or don’t have anymore space. I also appreciate the fact that their aren’t any in-app purchases (besides the ad block but that makes sense). It’s such a breath of fresh air not to see a bunch of in-game products you need to buy which can, sometimes, also be expensive, or those piggy bank things in which you need to PAY for money in game.

Overall, I give this game 5-stars, since it’s a good way to pass the time if you don’t have anything better to do.

Outside of the annoying advertisements. This game is addicting! Of course they go away after about 30 seconds to a minute. But they game is so fun you don’t really even mind them so much. When I opened up Blockscapes for the first time to check it out. I couldn’t put it down. Like 2 hours past by in just a few minutes. Lol! I will definitely be telling my family and friends about this one.

I love this game! Everytime I get on it I will be done playing from the past 5 hours! This is so fun and there's no inappropriate adds. A little adds but I still love it! this app is a wood tile app . I really love this game it is really fun! But my biggest question is what are the coins for? Like what do you use them for. Because the reason you want to win this turnement that is going on you will get a lot of coins. Also When will the water stone flower tiles come? Because that’s one of the reasons I got the game. Well over all really great game, calming and fun you should get the game. But can someone please tell me what the coins are for ? Thxs -what are the coins for

Ads really mess with me when I’m playing to relax - especially at bed time. This is sort of my aid to fall asleep. I would totally pay for a paid version with no ads. Like I get you make money off the adds but a 1x $20 fee or $2.99 monthly fee would be a great option for those of us who would happily pay for no ads. Some of your other games have no ads options and I pay for all of them lol. Give a loyal customer a chance to give you money and lose the ads!

It’s beyond me why Developers chose to offer ZERO game rules or standards of Play instructions for those who are new to this type of puzzle‼️ How about Scoring? How does that work? Tips & Hints? Are there any? Are the puzzles timed? Are the cubes random? I’ve provided a few random examples of what should be offered in the way of introduction to this otherwise entertaining puzzle game but can’t say I’ll stick with it without the answers I seek. And please don’t tell me to ask for “support” we’re capable of doing the puzzles but want to BEGIN them knowing the full rules,& scoring outlined above‼️ Thank you for the opportunity to vent my frustration & expectations! Hopefully you’ll ACT & make this a perfect puzzle experience for all!
