WHAT IS LAST CLOUDIA?
A fantasy RPG that weaves a sprawling tale with quirky characters and cinematic effects. Its gorgeous, fast-paced battles feature pixel art characters sweeping though 3D playspaces.
This is a good game, though the ludology makes it a bit obnoxious in my opinion. It’s constantly zooming into your teammates, the camera follows them instead of having the option to get a view of the entire battle and it hides the rest of your team when it “zooms” in the selected hero; not only that, but the AI are quite annoyingly tedious as well. Rei constantly follows the enemy when they get behind him and he can’t keep up to them thus negating him to follow up an attack until they stop, which puts a dent into DPS’ing and allows them to get behind my defences and target-attack my long-range characters, instead of Rei. What’s the point of close range if your team’s AI can’t follow up to it? I find it to be annoying, I hope they fix it.
Update: it’s now turned to one star. It’s starting to become P2W with bonus’ only being implied with purchasable crystals through paid in-game currency, instead of non-paid in-game currency; therefore, it exponentially limits those (myself) whom play the game F2P.
Awful rates. Cannot recommend.
by ThreeHandedBandit
I've came back to this game several times in two years because I kept thinking things changed (for the better). Haha... Man, I'm an idiot. The things that remain constant are the bad SSR rates and stingy crystal income. It can shower you with tickets but good luck pulling anything worthwhile. Did a few rerolls recently on the newest collaboration banner and I managed to pull an offbanner crap Ark in 10x 10 pulls in my worst reroll session for a gacha game ever. Yep. Just that. Whiffed on everything else. Git gud. That's just RNG, pal. Sure, man. Grinding hours for crystals for the umpteenth time from missions and then greeted with this slap on the face. I can see why this game is dying. That's a 1% drop rate, guys. Didn't even get the on banner drop either. The sad thing is I know there's a bunch of people out there with worse LC pull stories than this. Yeah, I'm salty. Rant over. I'm out. Update 2: It happened again! 10x 10x multi pulls and 3 off banner SSR. Yeah. That's it. Just 3 SSR's and somehow evade the summon rate up. Everything just whiffed again. Dead game. Avoid at all cost.
Worst customer support.
by Brofriend Dog
I love this game I feel like the game has a lot of potential tweet however, the Customer Support team was the worst I had paid for a subscription with the premium LC pass. well the payment went through. However, I didn’t get my crystals immediately when you pay for the subscription and id didn’t get my daily login as well. It bugged out and I’m stuck with the worst Customer Support that you could ever imagine. I contacted them let them know ask for additional information I give it to them we exchange information, and still the problem has not been resolved. It’s been at least two weeks now and they stop messaging me back so I don’t know what’s going on exactly but I tried contacting Apple support and they also denied me for a reimbursement, so this is very disappointing for both as that just for Last Cloudia, but as well as Apple.
Difficult Progression & Grind heavy
by Vin7ag3
Needs OoL changes since event/mission take forever Tower takes several hours to do skips are limited which shouldn't be. Learning curve is extremely difficult and slow. Endgame is P2W when it comes to building units with particular skills and are locked behind higher tier Arks for necessary builds. Endgame bosses are overly buffed with stat boosts and no unit can debuff aside from limited/collab units. Bosses spam skills and specials and get god tier buffs at low hp making it impossible for 99% of F2P to attempt. Most endgame content are only doable for P2W so progression becomes difficult. It’s nice to build units, but if progression is at a snail pace then most new players would inevitably quit. Make endgame accessible by F2P, nerf bosses so we atleast have a fighting chance, when bosses get to 10% hp they stack buffs, self high heal/regen effect, spam attacks and specials and one shot is not exactly fair or good gameplay it’s frustrating…
I personally do not like the idea of there being orbs to be able to enter the grind dungeons. I mean, we already have limits by the Blue and Red souls! Why Orbs? And why does it have to take a whole half an hour just for ONE? It should be 10 minutes to get back all 10 orbs, so, one minute per orb. And don’t get me started on the Gacha drop-rates! They are terrible and in one of the past few updates they lowered it even MORE! It used to be 0.300% now it’s something like 0.115% or somewhere around there. Totally ridiculous. Rarely pull new arks. Almost never new units. Basically always repeat Arks. Which, don’t get me wrong, is pretty ok since it ups your Ether percentage considering you have a very, VERY low chance to get a whole 0.01% added on to it through doing missions, which in itself is also uncalled for! And don’t get me started on some of the ridiculous missions and also the crappy item drop rates. Most of the new missions are ridiculously difficult even with high level or even maxed level ones. And it says level 60s recommended? What a joke.
1. They should remove orbs or make them come back a lot faster.
2. Boost the drop rate of materials and such.
3. Up the drop rate of stuff from Gacha.
4. Make certain missions easier to run.
5. Take away the enemies t2 and t3 abilities and make it so they don’t span every few seconds.
Fun, Content Drought, Endgame Wall, Diluted Pool
by Pokestuff
Last Cloudia is fun and uniquely built to keep you drawn in every time you play it, but it does have its extreme lows….
Content Drought: When you first play the game it seems there is way to much to do and not enough time. That pace really changes once you hit rank 35 and finish the story, because you may wait 4-6 months just for another update.
Endgame Wall: At rank 40 you will barely have a reason to log in, the game offers barely any currency and the only real content is upgrading weapons that come from SSR Arks you summon through Gacha. Mastering an Ark can take up to two weeks on auto battle fyi.
Diluted Pool: As with any Gacha game their intended purpose is to make money off of you summoning on an rng based system. Of course its luck based unless you shell out $300+ for a guaranteed unit (Paid Crystals only summon banners). My biggest gripe is that Aidis diluted their recent 3rd Anniversary summon pool with past Descent of Heroes Units (Limited Time Units) knowing their rates are already sub par. Even with the celebratory tickets and gems handed out, your odds of getting anything new are slim (3% for a chance at a unit and the rate for the featured unit is .8%).
TL;DR -> Last Cloudia is fun but their diluted summoning pool and poor pity system turns people away. Don’t invest money into this slow roll of new content you wait 6 months for.
It’s a below standard gacha
by Guenqlvhemsuabdkvhe Sivbd
I’ve played the game for a few years now, and seeing the separation between F2P and paying player has been completely drawn in the sand by this point.
Paid crystals, paid equipment, passes, you name it, it’s in the game and egregiously used.
A lot of poor ideas, formulaic content rereleases without any risk or interest in trying something new. No one cares about releasing tower of trials, beast mayhem, and trial of summoned beasts. Cant even be bothered to update the clearly outdated login rewards, but they’ll update those features to the monetized monthly pass.
We haven’t a proper new content release since GvG, and it’s so horrendously bad even top guilds don’t take seriously
Get ready to grind one unit to max, clear through all of the story with a powercrept unit, and quit. There’s nothing else meaningful or interesting about the game.
Come back 4 years and raids will finally be released, and I’ll bet you the only effort they’ll put into the raids, is the portion that’s profitable.
I have had plenty of friends ask me about this game, and my answers always been the same, Don’t play. I will never ever suggest this game to anyone, and Last Cloudia goes a great job at making me not regret my decision.
Let’s look forward to Last Cloudias generic automated comment on this post to really wrap the energy of this game into a nice garbage bag bow.
Interesting, cool..until..
by Geekstuh
Game is really fun when you get into it. Story is okay, they have like one cutscene movie, however as you progress you will notice that there is way too much things that will require you to grind, I understand that grinding is necessary but when you’re not getting what you need to get stronger in the game tends to make it feel like you’re not getting anywhere. I’ve spent at least 70$ worth and got probably one unit with recent collaboration with Secret Of Mana.. I would have to say that it was not worth putting in the money to get the draw because you still would have to grind to get these collab heroes to be even useful for you to use in main quest’s unless you are in the beginning of the game. Overall game is unique has similar features with FFBE, and I regret the money I’ve put into this game, you are better off as FREE TO PLAY just be ready for a long grind, because spending money in this game does NOT make a difference in terms of grinding to make your units stronger, it just gives you more stuff to grind for honestly, good luck.
Bad execution
by Axelr0d
I was initially excited to play as Eren and the rest of the cast from Attack on Titan. But as I continued to play Last Cloudia, I found poor summoning rates at 3% for characters that seemed interesting and not enough generosity with in game currency. There were no quality of life mechanics such as automatic replays or even skip ticket to make grinding characters more doable. The result is the creation of a time consuming game with no reward for the amount of time or effort one puts into it. I will note that I was very disappointed in the “step up” summons that were only for PAYING players cementing other comments calling this game a blatant cash grab. While that may be the case as of February of 2022, I hope for changes to the long loading screens and more consistency of “grind sessions” to make new players like myself feel more welcome and able to catch up with other stronger players. I wanted to like this game. The cinematics were amazing and voice acting was up to par. But the gameplay proved to be a drag time and time again. Especially compared to other games like Dragalia Lost or Dragon Ball Legends that have ways of making gameplay and grind easy without becoming time consuming or unrewarding. Respect to the team, but changes need to start NOW. Until then I have to intention of touching this game again.
The game is very fun and the artwork and game play feels so much like a classic game I loved - Star Ocean 2. The game so far seems to be very free to play friendly and I have heard that you can clear everything with just the story characters you get.
My only real problem with the game (and I think many others) is that the AI is one of the worst I have seen in a while, and this is coming from someone who has played Pokemon Masters. The thing with Pokemon Masters was that you can turn the AI off by choosing manual, but you can’t here. So many times you will almost clear a room full of five monsters, and as soon as you are down to the last one, where the monster has literally one more hit to die, your AI will unleash their strongest attack in the game on this monster, and this happens a lot right before the boss room. This one thing here is the reason why I couldn’t even give the game 4 stars, that is something worth taking 2 stars away and why I only gave a 3-star review. Please fix this horrible AI system.
Horrible gacha drop rates
by Dark Link 1231
The game is great, gameplay is as well. The graphics and story are on point, the gacha drops are horrible. They give you a lot of ways to get your gems and some tickets, unfortunately you mainly get arcs, rarely do you get a character and even with the arcs you will do a drawing for 10 and get all the same arcs you have. In 5 drawings in a row I got nothing but arcs I already had and out of the last 2 drawings for actual characters I got characters I already had. I couldn’t even get Randi from the mana collection which somehow everyone else seems to have, I feel they probably had a lot of gems and spent a lot of money to get him. All in all a great game, I just wish you would get more character drops and better rates for the gacha drawings. I would rate 5 stars if I would have had better drawings, I find it ridiculous to not get one new arc or character out of 5 straight 10 pull drawings.
F2P experience
by Supersmasher7055
I may not have months of experience on this game as others, nor have played through countless levels. Putting that aside overall this game is great I love the fact you can choose many skills and traits via a web, the combat system is also unique in the fact we’re you can choose between characters to control and use skills also magic. But there is always one issue that falls in my review as the most important thing and that is the Gacha, I honestly don’t understand why you would make the characters more harder to get than the arks. Personally I like to collect characters in gacha games, but I feel like I’m just collecting another piece of equipment (arks). And it’s totally reasonable that you have to make money for a game you released for free nothing wrong with that. This is what I came to, I would of rated it 5 stars but so far this is the worst gacha system I have ever came across while playing gacha games.
Best gacha since Brave Frontier
by Titan King Is Cool
I don’t usually write reviews but for this I felt I had to. However, I unfortunately can’t give this higher than a 4 star because of one reason which I will get to. Firstly this game is in fact amazing, if you aren’t tempted by spending money to get a character and just want enough to get through the game, then this game is perfect for you. Lore is an absolute must for me and this game is not short of it. The storyline is great, Every character has it’s own lore book which I love, and Every event is spectacular with a brilliant story of its own as well. Every move you make gives incentive to keep playing, it rewards you. The character designs, the ark designs, and the thought and detail that goes into it is worth every second you spend on it. Now to the only con I have, the gacha rates. I have gotten plenty of characters don’t get me wrong, but unless you spend $500 or save up for 3 big events, you aren’t likely to get a character you are drawing for. I have gotten the ark for this most recent character but not the character himself and I have multi drawn 10 times now. unfortunately if you do want to be a completionist, this isn’t the game for that as it is ever-expanding and the chances of getting it all without spending money is abysmal at best.
Wonderful game
by Lavner1
The art in this game is detailed and very clearly this was a game made with love. Normally I don’t write reviews for games but I am for this one in hopes the developers will see it and take into consideration some ideas that I and possibly others have so here we go.
The game itself being well made doesn’t need much in the way of content or anything of the sort however it could use a few quality of life updates like a home button to take you to the main screen from the various sub menus, it becomes tedious to constantly press the back button 3 or so times every time you do anything like upgrading characters or arks, it would also be nice to allow mass upgrades. For instance I want to unlock ability x and have all the required materials for ability x and all prior upgrades I could tap ability x unlock it and automatically unlock all prerequisites to get to said ability at the same time
Overall this is an amazing game and it will be amazing regardless but these would make it more enjoyable in my opinion
The game just had its first anniversary so I’m updating my review.
The game has made a lot of good fixes and made character progression more sane than before.
The game still looks gorgeous tbh. Best out there in terms of art. Nothing beats 2nd art even when characters don’t have as many frames as 2nd fighters. Arks look wonderful and detailed. Characters vary a lot and not depend solely on women assets, if you catch my drift. The art alone can lift the game and make you pull for characters. Most of the games out there depend on famous anime characters, but this game can make me pull because of the art. Music, backgrounds and sound effects are on point.
Obviously the game still needs work. First by disabling character stories all together to make everyone on qual footing. Cheaters won’t be able to macro through it to gain souls and legit players will catch up.
Since the story is filled with regions from all over the world, i’d like to see characters from different regions other than japan and west. More further into the east... like middle eastern. Something new of gacha tbh.
Game needs better management with the debacle in dr. Stone. Also better rates all around, and less powercreep. Make characters excel at something and be balanced. Powercreep is boring.
Great start!
by HeavyHaulin
Let’s start what happens when you start playing 1st of all there is a lot to learn but once you understand the game is awesome. I really enjoy the gameplay and the characters are awesome. The way you can build your characters are awesome too. There is so many ways to build your characters. I think they need some more characters also guilds would be nice. I see arena is coming soon and I can’t wait. If they do get guilds I think guild bosses is they way to go. Even a dungeon where people can go to try to group up with. Which your regular attacks and magic you can be very busy playing one character and the loot could go towards weapons. There a lot more that I could say. Well done keep bringing the updates.
Crashes
by Zerolack
First off, I love this game to death, I really do, as a returning player I also love to see the devs allowing new and returning players to catch up to where other long standing players are. However I noticed something since my returns and that’s the constant crashing this game has now. It never used to have this before, nor did it heat up my phone the way it does now. Last collab with NiER was good, but I crash ever 30 minutes to an hour. With this new collab, it crashes every 15-30 minutes, and some units can’t use their special attacks. Tried with Prefect of God, Garland twice, and both times upon activation, his special crashed my game. Devs, if you truly care about your fan base, please, release an emergency update that fixes these crashes.
Amazing game

I want to let everybody know that I really enjoy playing this game. I really enjoyed the graphics and the finishing moves on some of the characters and I and I enjoy the crossover on other platforms with other games animes and movies. This game is very amazing. I love how you can level up your character and customize them and everything I love the events and crossovers are very intriguing. I’m going to be playing this game for many years. I have three accounts on three different phones. And I’m a guild leader. I want to let everybody know if you guys take your time and play this game. You’ll enjoy it. I love how my characters look on home screen and I’m very excited to be playing this game for many of years. If you want to join my guild, let me know. Contact me. I hope everybody enjoys this game as much as I am. I want to do a shout out for the developers and all the people for their hard work to put this game together. Thank you.
Best game on IOS.
by AngryBunny00
30 year old guy here that travels a lot due to work and i do not consider myself “a gamer.” Just enjoy passing time when away from family with games on my phone. I don’t even own a console. That’s just so everyone understands where I’m coming from when i write this review. Now for the game. 5 stars. Easy to understand and play. Controls are a little confusing at first and hard to explain, but you get used to it pretty quick. You don’t have to spend money on this game, which i would not advise, because the prices are outrageous. I have enjoyed every minute of playing. Thanks to whoever put this one together, you did an amazing job. Almost perfectly mirrors Final Fantasy. My feedback to the game would be to please don’t change anything, please put in more characters, because the ones you have are great and i would personally like to see more of your creations in the future. Again, thanks for an amazing game. Truly a great piece.
I never drop reviews on games but for last cloudia I feel like I had to. I’ve been playing for about 8 months and it’s the main gacha I play. Being able to teach units skills from arks opens up a lot of builds which I haven’t seen any other gacha do. There’s a ton of content to go through and the events are always really well done. The game is NOT pay to win, but you can drop cash for paid unit equips which yes are very good but are not needed. I’m pretty much solely free 2 play and I’ve been able to save up recently 36,000 crystals (which is a lot) just by playing the game. The rates are also pretty generous in my opinion compared to other gachas. I guess my only problems with the game is that getting character levels can be abit of a grind but they don’t need to be maxed out for you to teach them their skills and ark skills. Other than that it’s a great game and I would play last cloudia even if it wasn’t in a gacha format bc it’s just a well made game with awesome devs. I highly recommend last cloudia and I hope you give it a try
