I decided to try FitTasteTic on January 1st, 2020, when I saw it featured by AppAdvice in their AppsGoneFree app.
After the AGF app opened it in the AppStore, I noticed that it has In App Purchases. Upon closer inspection the upgrade to the Ad Free version is currently $0.00, so I proceeded to Get the FitTasteTic app.
The download completed very quickly, and I opened FitTasteTic for the very first time.
The app displayed a splash screen, showing the appโs icon graphic centered against a white background. Just below the icon graphic was the phrase โFit Taste Tic,โ and a red version of the three pulsing dots (like the native iMessage app uses to indicate when someone is typing).
And the red dots were pulsing.
I waited 5 minutes, and then 5 more. I switched away to some other apps, but checked back occasionally, only to see the same red dots, endlessly pulsing.
*delete*
And then I wrote this negative review.

This app has beautiful images, recipes sound tasty, but there is no option to convert to cups and ounces so Iโm not likely to actually go through the process of doing that myself.
I love the shopping list feature so you can pick any item you still need for the recipe. You are able to favorite your recipes so they are easy to find and the recipes are sorted well into categories.
If the option to select Fahrenheit vs Celsius and cups/ounces vs grams I would be all in on this app.

I like the recipes but wish there was a setting to have the recipes amounts converted to cups or ounces instead of just grams. I realize not everyone is from the US but it would be nice to see ingredients listed both ways. For me it is a pain to convert the amounts so I can measure the ingredients correctly.
