Baby Sleep Sounds Reviews

When I downloaded BabySleepSounds, I was under the impression that a select few sounds were free, and then there were quite a few other sounds on the paid subscription. When clicking on those premium sounds, it even said that I would need to upgrade in order to access them. This was fine with me, since I was happy with the sounds available. At no point did it ever tell me that this “free” selection was a trial period, until I went to use one of the sounds and received the notice that I would need to purchase the full subscription in order to access any of the sounds. This was incredibly misleading! If it was a trial, then all of the sounds should have been accessible from the very beginning, and it should have had a disclaimer notifying users about the fact that they are on a trial as well as how much more time is left on the trial period.

I might have been interested in purchasing BabySleepSounds outright, had I known it was just a trial. But due to the poor marketing and deceptive tactics, I’ll invest in one of the other sound apps in BabySleepSounds Store.

There was just one sound, white noise, that I was able to use, without having to spend a ridiculous amount of money for just a noise, and now they’ve apparently made it so the entire app needs to be paid in order to listen to anything. Not worth it!!

Do not waste your money!! Trust me! I never write reviews but I had to On this. You will pay for like 6 selection sounds that HAVE ADS unless you upgrade even after you already paid for app. It’s garbage. Short Timed music. Lots of ads. Poor quality. Save your money!

I’m trying to get an app to help my baby sleep, and the questionnaire BabySleepSounds uses to get info on my baby leads directly to an in app purchase which appears to be compulsory. There’s a barely visible cross in the upper right corner to close it. I’m sleep deprived. This is an evil way to grab money. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Almost a crime having to pay $10 a week for BabySleepSounds OMG 😳 SERIOUSLY Who do you guys think you are!!!! Jajajaja

Just saying not worth paying for a simple app like this …. Sorry to burst the bubble for these top liking people for BabySleepSounds BUT!!!!

I’ve tried everything possible to cancel BabySleepSounds during the free 7 day trial, I’ve called Apple-they couldn’t find a way to cancel, I’ve gone to Apple store-they didn’t know how to do it, I’ve emailed and messaged BabySleepSounds developer and they sent me instructions to cancel but there’s NO way to cancel this!!!! I’ve called my bank and they said they’ll dispute it. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I have used BabySleepSounds since January 2020 for my child and it was wonderful. The free sounds worked really well and I understood I could upgrade if wanting the premium sounds. Now I cannot access any sounds without paying. Will be deleting BabySleepSounds due to this, as this was marketed as free and had been for a year and a half. So disappointed you would do this. I’ve been waiting 5 days for a response from the Somnologist meanwhile they say they will be back in 2 hours. Also tried to contact some sort of customer service but nothing is listed and the email provided in their privacy or terms agreement is not a valid domain. They need to update this info. Or perhaps they used a fake email just to make BabySleepSounds look legit.

We’ve used BabySleepSounds since August 2020. In that time, we’ve always been able to access certain sounds (shush, womb noise) for free (and they have helped our baby sleep many times). When we upgraded BabySleepSounds this afternoon, there was no warning that there would be a shift so that all sounds would now require a paid subscription. We scrambled to find a different app for our baby tonight just to try to get her to sleep. I’m really disappointed. There should have been plenty of warning via pop ups on BabySleepSounds , etc to let us know that this was changing. I may have paid before, but I won’t now.

I’m not one of those people to leave a review, it’s just very upsetting to love an app and then one day you get on and you suddenly have to pay for it. I think the free sounds should come back.

Download BabySleepSounds and automatically charged full year charge to use app. More then 100$
But on the up side, works good for putting baby to sleep.

I downloaded BabySleepSounds probably about a year ago and have used it in rotation with a couple other similar apps. I liked it fine, but now in order to use any of the sounds you have to pay for their subscription. I thought it was a glitch at first, but after trying over several days, even reinstalling it, no change. I guess they reconsidered the free portion. BabySleepSounds description even still says, “Enjoy our wide text library, variety of sounds, and fade-out timer absolutely free.” And then goes on to say if you want even more sounds, etc subscribe to their service. So developers might want to update that if this will be permanent.

I love that it has a variety of sounds baby loves but it turns off almost right away and have to keep pushing play I paid for the subscription thinking it would fix the problem but it did not

I love BabySleepSounds and have used it since my little one was a newborn. But recently I’ve noticed that it’ll randomly stop playing. It’s very inconvenient, especially when it’s bedtime and my 12 month old is comforted with the sounds. But when it shuts off all of a sudden, it makes her sit up. And it’s not the fade out and in thing, that’s fine. But it literally will just shut off.

Very misleading. You have to pay for a subscription and they don’t , at the very least , have sample sounds.

I like to use this application whenever I'm free to listen to music. The music helps me sleep better

I love BabySleepSounds. It’s great. But I wanna know who does the shhhhhh sound. Because my mom, husband, and best friend all thought I made my own recording of me saying shhhh to play for my boy. It sounds just like me. I wanna see what she looks like now.

Wow! Let me just say I never pay for apps, and I never leave reviews! BUT BabySleepSounds works so well I had to leave one! This puts my colic newborn right to sleep, and helps her with gas as well, as it relaxes her. The music is also pretty soothing to me, so we both get good sleep. It works instantly.

When my babies heard the sound of BabySleepSounds, they slept well and so did I
