School Assistant – Planner Reviews

I was using myHomework and decided to try School Assistant. My experience with School Assistant for the past few weeks has been great and I haven’t had any problems. I love the look and feel of SchoolAssistantPlanner and the lack of ads. But I’m missing some features coming from using myHomework. I wish you didn’t have to input your classes in the Schedule tab separately from the classes in the Schoolwork tab. I miss being able to see when assignments are due by looking at a calendar. I could tap May 20th and see what assignments are due that day. I also think there needs to be a “Completed Assignments” section. While I don’t think it should keep completed assignments forever, there should be some amount of backlog. I also think we should be able to sort assignments by due date/time and by class. I usually have to manually order them to the closest date or time. I think other assignment categories would be helpful. Perhaps for projects and papers. I’d also like to see a widget that combines the Schoolwork Amount and Next Class Widget. I also think other combinations are would be great. Lastly, I’d like to see other integrations besides Google Classroom, like Canvas for instance. Despite all of this, I’m going to continue to use SchoolAssistantPlanner over its competitors. Keep up the good work.

Best hw schedule app I’ve ever used. And believe me I’ve tried plenty. In others there are annoying ads or subscriptions. But let’s be real for a second. No one can afford to pay a subscription or fee just because the want to be organized paying for those things is a nightmare. But I was literally scrolling through everything and then I was like what the heck might as well try this one. Because the other hw app I was using kept glitching and wouldn’t let me even use it. (It. Was b4 grad) one of the worst apps I’ve ever used don’t get it. But when I tried SchoolAssistantPlanner it the worked I literally laughed and then I FaceTimeed my friend and told her all about it. Anyways I’m ranting but love SchoolAssistantPlanner so amazing try it and u won’t be disappointed.

If I had one thing i would like the creator to add would be able on Mac or as a browser I know it doesn’t work that way but that would be nice so if you could that’s a suggestion and if it is available already sorry for writing this thanks anyway.

i’ve tried most of the school planner apps on SchoolAssistantPlanner store, and this one is indisputably my favorite! in addition to its own scheduling & coursework tracking functionalities, it allows you to integrate your school’s course management system, your quizlet, & even google classroom!! it also has a cute daily inspiration notification :) one of the features that really sets it apart from the rest is that there are not (and will never be) subscriptions/premium-only features or ads. it may not be as important to others, but as a Broke College Student™, i really appreciate that.

its simple, clean design provides a very intuitive & user-friendly experience. something it does not currently offer is the capability to add a time or location to exams. it would also be nice if you could view your exams sorted chronologically rather than the order in which they were added. other than that, this is definitely the nicest free agenda app you will find!!!

SchoolAssistantPlanner is seriously so amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scheduling and homework app. I tried so many different apps before this one, and a lot of the time, they either made you pay for all the functions or they only had one good quality about them; I was stuck using two different apps at one point, which was just tiring and annoying. SchoolAssistantPlanner is literally the best thing to come into my life in regards to school and scheduling. Its user interface is amazing and it is so easy to put in your classes and your homework for each day. I love customizing the colors and the little message of inspiration each day, as silly as it sounds. The widget it has is super helpful too, because it kept me on track during the day. This is one of those apps that seems to good to be true, and you can tell its creators really care about the success of students.

I have had SchoolAssistantPlanner for a month or so now and lemme just say it is amazing! It is completely free and gives you a variety of connections you could make to make SchoolAssistantPlanner better. Meaning you can connect apps with this one. Apps such as GOOGLE CLASSROOM and more! You can do a lot with SchoolAssistantPlanner, including changing the icon and mode! Dark mode, Light mode or both! The only thing is your first week (if you have the same schedule every day) you have to type in your classes just once in that day and they appear for now on! You can always add or delete a class if needed! I will have SchoolAssistantPlanner for as long as I am in school. SchoolAssistantPlanner has gotten me through my third term of this year and I am looking forward to having many more trimesters with it! Hope you all enjoy as much as I do and leave a response for the creator! (A student who knows why people like us need SchoolAssistantPlanner created it!!)

SchoolAssistantPlanner is amazing for students and I wish I found this sooner. I’ve tried so many different apps but this one is the best. The minimalism and simplicity of SchoolAssistantPlanner is what I love the most. You can easily add your classes, assignments, tests, and even add important resources on SchoolAssistantPlanner . The dashboard is amazing and you can easily get a glance of what classes you have today and how many assignments you have. You can even add widgets on the Home Screen to show how many assignments you have and your next class for today. I do wish that the widgets were more customizable to match the theme of my other widgets and a companion Apple Watch app would be really nice. Other than that though, I definitely recommend SchoolAssistantPlanner. I use it everyday and it’s really helped me become more organized and stay focused on my school work. Thank you for such an amazing app!!

Honestly SchoolAssistantPlanner was made by ONE student and yet they are STILL BEATING COMPANIES with this amazing FREE app.

My schedule was really confusing and I had to take extra steps to find what I need to turn in or what classes I need to go to in what day but SchoolAssistantPlanner completely blew me away. I tried out many homework or school schedule apps but none were really right or fit well with me.

I’m glad I gave SchoolAssistantPlanner a chance. It’s really easy, customizable ,accessible to use which I really appreciate. They are hardly ever any faults in SchoolAssistantPlanner so don’t waste your time trying to find the right app because this is a app that is for EVERYONE!! 10/10

SchoolAssistantPlanner has a sleek ios 14 design and is pleasing to look at, but it could use some work in navigation and accessibility. It’s cool that SchoolAssistantPlanner supports Google classroom and has a week schedule feature, but the problem is that I can’t really use them. My school uses programs like Canvas and PowerSchool so I can’t use Google Classroom, adding support to Canvas and PowerSchool would be an excellent improvement. The week scheduling thing is a bit complicated and confusing, it also doesn’t seem to have options for Block scheduling, which is what our school uses. Adding a more simpler way to schedule the week and Block schedule support would make SchoolAssistantPlanner so much better.

Hope this feedback helps improve SchoolAssistantPlanner so it’s the best one out there.

As someone who loves planners, and simply the aesthetics of them, SchoolAssistantPlanner is perfect. I’ve used other planning apps before and they either cost money for a subscription, or SchoolAssistantPlanner just wasn’t very helpful. I love physical planners, but sometimes getting out my planner isn’t very convenient when I’m in class or on the go. SchoolAssistantPlanner is the perfect mixture of aesthetic and helpful. There’s a lot of customization and many tools to help make my life easier in SchoolAssistantPlanner.

I think it would be super cool to add a section for work or maybe just daily to-do’s, just because there’s not another app out there that is as organized as this (to me).

I am an incredibly finicky app user, and up to this point, I had not been happy with any planning apps that I had used! Everything had a relatively high price tag (self-funded college student) and did not deliver on app quality or functionality. SchoolAssistantPlanner blows all of its competitors away! The UI is beautiful, the functionality is superb, and it works in conjunction with all of my needed sites for school without a hitch! In the future, I plan to try out more apps from this developer as SchoolAssistantPlanner has incredible design and quality! Couldn’t be happier with it! Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking for a good app to keep track of my homework in, and this is an app I will probably stay with. Although it takes a few minutes to sit down and setup, once you’re done tampering with it, SchoolAssistantPlanner makes it easy to keep track of everything you need to. The only reason I don’t rate it five stars is because I would like something a little simpler, but that’s all up to personal preference. As someone who has always struggled with organization, SchoolAssistantPlanner has been making it easier to stay on top of my work and make sure I don’t forget about any assignments I have coming up.

I recently got SchoolAssistantPlanner because I was falling a bit behind on my school work. SchoolAssistantPlanner has helped quite a bit! Simply putting in all of my assignments helps me plan out how I’m going to tackle them. I enjoy the customization that SchoolAssistantPlanner offers as well. My only suggestion would be that we would have an option to organize our work by class in the school work tab. For example, you click on schoolwork, and there’s still the list of all your assignments and tests, but there would be a sub-tab that listed your classes, and when you clicked on a class, it would list the work you have for that class only.

Works seamlessly with google classroom, without even bringing you to their website. You get to view all of google classroom with the apps ui which is just so nice. You can even add assignments directly from classroom to SchoolAssistantPlanner without typing anything in. The document scanner works so well and is so helpful for turning in paper assignments. The schedule and assignments features work so well and are very easy to use. Overall, this is much better than I thought it would be and is so much easier than using the built in reminders app due to the in app google classroom assignments feature.

Don’t be fooled by the “in app purchases” note under download; this is only for tips. The entire app is free to use and doesn’t require a premium subscription to access certain tools. Also has great adaptability for complex schedules. I’m a college student and it works great for organizing my schoolwork. I love the design of SchoolAssistantPlanner as well and it is very customizable. Lots of convenient features to use like widgets and a built-in document scanner, plus it connects with google classroom if your school does that. I’ve been looking a while for an app like this and I’m quite content with it so far.

As a college student that also works, I was having a hard time juggling when all of my assignments were due for my different classes. I tried other “free” apps, but they always had a catch that you have to pay extra to be able to enter unlimited assignments. What’s great about SchoolAssistantPlanner is that it is completely free and user friendly. I love that it has a widget option so that I can quickly see how many assignments I have due. Overall, I have no complaints with SchoolAssistantPlanner and I will continue using it for my entire school career.

I honestly like SchoolAssistantPlanner so far, although I wish the function to where you can copy your schedule to different days could get fixed soon.

Another issue I have encountered is that the widget function of SchoolAssistantPlanner seems to not be working :( this was a huge reason as to why I had downloaded it. Whenever I try to add it to my home screen it just becomes blank. I really really hope this gets fixed soon.

I know SchoolAssistantPlanner is ran by a singular person and I thank you for working so hard on SchoolAssistantPlanner! Just know that I am very thankful for you helping out students, so don’t feel pressured ! <3

This is an amazing app! It is so useful to have on my laptop and be able to add assignments and tests during classes as they come up. SchoolAssistantPlanner is great, and I have two suggestions:

1. For the sorting of the assignments, ordering them by due date could be an excellent feature. Right now, when adding assignments, you can choose to add it to the top of the list or the bottom. It could be very useful to auto-sort the assignments by due date top to bottom.

2. It could be really great to have a to-do list tab, maybe by the websites and resources tabs. Sometimes it's nice to make a check list and check things off as you go, and putting a to-do list feature should be very nice. Then students can add not-school related things as well as their assignments.

Overall SchoolAssistantPlanner is amazing and I'd recommend it to people in a heartbeat, but there is always room for improvement.

SchoolAssistantPlanner is wonderful! it's smooth and makes getting things done so much more satisfying! it's super useful, and being able to put the teachers name on assignments and classes also helps! this is definitely my number 1 choice. the only thing i would like in it is sections where you can put assignments in each class, but that's not really important for getting things done. The lack of ads is also wonderful! Everything is where it needs to be. Thank you so much for making SchoolAssistantPlanner! :D

I was looking for an app that I could plug my schedule into and see how much time I have left in my classes. The widget is exactly what I was looking for and I like that it is even down to the second. I also like the assignment section and how easy it is to select the due date. My only suggestion is that in between classes, I'd like to see how much time until my next class starts. It just says not currently in class. Other than that this is a great app and I really appreciate no ads!

SchoolAssistantPlanner is really wonderful! I was using another homework app but this one is free and really aesthetically pleasing to look at. I would love a way to look at the completed homework you’ve done in order to keep track of everything. I’d also like if there were notifications for SchoolAssistantPlanner ! I’m kind of forgetful so it’d be nice to have reminders about upcoming homework! Along that vein, I don’t know if this is too hard to implement but I’d love for SchoolAssistantPlanner to eventually have a widget. Anyways, thanks for making SchoolAssistantPlanner and keep up the good work!

Holy cow! SchoolAssistantPlanner is excellent. I’m faculty at a private school that uses renweb (I’m not a fan - esp since students are used to blackboard and google...and renweb is really quirky and just plain, well, terrible to use). The renweb app itself is one of the most poorly designed and cumbersome app I’ve used.

However, SchoolAssistantPlanner is one of the only apps that integrates seamlessly with renweb. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Would love to see a teacher version.

I can’t believe I didn’t know about SchoolAssistantPlanner before! I used (and deleted) a lot of other apps because they took too much time or you needed to pay. SchoolAssistantPlanner is perfect - it doesn’t have any ads, it’s free, and it has a great design. I am in high school now and it really helps me keep track of my assignments, tests, and exams.

From features of SchoolAssistantPlanner including assignments, test, schedule, and grades, SchoolAssistantPlanner is the perfect thing a student can have on their device to manage their school life. The iOS like app makes it easy to navigate, and is very easy to use! Definitely don’t regret getting SchoolAssistantPlanner, it has helped me a lot!

SchoolAssistantPlanner is just amazing. It combines all the sites and servers that have homework info and sends it to you! Also, google classroom support is amazing, as most of my teachers assign homework thru there. All in all, great app, and I have high open that SchoolAssistantPlanner will become the transit app of schoolwork apps.

I was very happy to beta test SchoolAssistantPlanner over its pretty much whole development. It’s crazy to think how SchoolAssistantPlanner when it first started vs finished. You got some serious talent that you are only going to expand on. Can’t wait for your next project!!

I didn't think that a organizer app could be so good, but everything is very well designed , it has a very neat UI and I'm incredibly impressed!
