The sound doesn’t work at all, and the motion and sound detectors will only work for a short while for me! I need my sound to work and can’t seem to figure it out! And it will cut out from time to time

So day one was great and then day two and three it has crashed several times. The connection is intermittent. Now after uninstalling and reinstalling the application it doesn’t even open. Simply crashes. I’m disappointed. When it works, it is great. But if I can’t keep an eye on things with it glitching out, then there is no point in me keeping CamCam .

Ive paid premium and CamCam wont stay connected to hd video and always reverts back to the crappy quality video. Ive seen is disconnect 10 times in a minute. I have strong wifi and not many devices connected. What am i paying for?

So it functions well enough as a remote camera. The motion detection feature didn’t really work very well. I’m guessing what I wanted to monitor was too far away. But there is no sensitive options or zoom function or monitoring zone feature. So if you want to monitor your mailbox that’s 30 feet away with a wide angle lens on an iPad, it doesn’t really work

Notifications doesn’t always come through and it’s nearly impossible to change settings because the camera won’t stop recording

Setup was easy and I love that I can use older phones until I can afford better dedicated hardware. The downside to CamCam is it’s pay to play. You have to subscribe in order to actually use it for longer than a few minutes. If the developer continues to supper their app, then this could be a sleeper app for iOS.

I bought the full version and It doesn’t work when the phone screen is locked if you could add that option it would be awesome. The reason that I am rating it two star because it doesn’t work when the screen locked. Please add that option too and then I will give CamCam five-star.

So I bought a new cell phone. As everyone knows, some passwords have to be reset as well as face and touch ID's. Today I used CamCam for the first time with the new phone. When it opened, it gave me 4 options to buy subscriptions but I had already purchased one for life. I thought oh no. How am I going to get a hold of them. Then I saw right below the options where you could restore your purchase. I tapped it and less than a second it seemed, I received a message "purchase restored". Amazing. Great job you guys.

It’s such a simple concept to use one or more devices as cameras and another as the monitor. And so many other apps can’t get it right. I know, I’ve tried them. But Cam&Cam does!

Pricing is reasonable too and you’re not forced into a subscription. Try it for a few bucks and then buy it outright without breaking the bank.

Even with the usual hiccups of network streaming, it’s nearly perfect. You can turn on the camera flashlight from the monitor, transmit live audio from cameras to monitor, send dictated messages to the camera speakers, trigger recordings with movement or sound detection, raise the brightness of cameras through the monitor, and saves pics/videos locally. No privacy concerns with a faceless company storing your data, and again, no cloud storage subscription.

Cam&Cam exceeds expectations. Especially for the cost. Great job! Everyone I know has an old iPod/iPhone laying around and I wont hesitate to suggest CamCam. And it’s not just for security. Watch a live feed through the window where you feed the birds and squirrels, snap a pic or video of your cat at the scratching post, or down near the dog bed to watch/listen to your dog snore 😂.

Absolutely worth every dollar!
