Little League Rulebook Reviews

App is very difficult to use if you don’t already know where a rule is. It would be super helpful to bookmark individual rules and not a whole section. Search should allow grouped words like “hit by pitch.” Also an individual word doesn’t return preview text.

If Little league is removing rules from the web and shipping fewer books, they should make basic investment in LittleLeagueRulebook .

Yesterday when downloaded it had a crashing issue. Emailed support@little league and they informed me there was a bug that they had quickly addressed. Advised to delete and redownload. Upon doing LittleLeagueRulebook worked PERFECTLY! Great app and thanks for including all rule books for one LOW price.
Improved features over prior years books. Great new feature to save a topic allowing quick reference of commonly used topics.

The search function is practically worthless, searches all three rulebooks, but doesn’t take you to the actual rule... and if you need to see the next item, you basically need to start over.

Also, moving between one chapter to another is cumbersome.

Having the rules in an ebook was so much more useful. Please make the rules available in an ebook again.

App support link doesn’t really take you to a support page so hoping developer reads reviews. When first downloading, clicking on one of the rulebooks opened to a white screen that never loads anything. Did a force quit and did a search - that allowed me to enter into a rulebooks and view it correctly so I know the content is available in LittleLeagueRulebook . After opening the rulebooks via search, LittleLeagueRulebook now instant crashes when I click on a rulebook on the home screen.

Loved LittleLeagueRulebook but with the new update things are not showing up. I can’t get anything to load at all.

The Little League Rulebook is so intimidating to read and understand. I am thrilled that Williamsport has decided to put the rules in an app. The bookmarking and videos are a great. All three books, one price, with rules updated automatically ... awesome!!! Thanks Little League.

When you do a search, it will show you a snipet if the rule you want. But when you select that rule you want LittleLeagueRulebook will just take you to the beginning of the chapter. It should take you to the rule you want and ideally highlight the word you were looking for.

Nothing works in LittleLeagueRulebook . I click any of the little league options and it just says “we’re sorry something went wrong. Please try again later”! I do a search and the screen just goes blank white. I deleted and reinstalled LittleLeagueRulebook and the same thing happens. I want my money back.

The most useful part of LittleLeagueRulebook is the search capabilities, but it is also the most frustrating to use.

First, every time you click on a result and go back, you have to start your search over. Infuriating.

Second, it defaults to searching all 3 Rulebooks every time.

Please have a UX designer spent 15 minutes trying to use LittleLeagueRulebook and they will immediately see the problems with the current version.

Have the 2019 e-book on computer, iPad, iPhone… All work great.
Worse app to date. No computer support. No iPad support (Obviously you can run iPhone apps on an iPad at 1/4 the screen)
The idea, and auto update feature, sounds like a good plan – unfortunately not executed really well.

I downloaded and paid for LittleLeagueRulebook and it hasn’t worked once. I have deleted it and reloaded it three different times but it still says there is a problem. I’m not sure what’s wrong! I have hard started my device still won’t work.

As a director of a league LittleLeagueRulebook is not user friendly when a coach questions a rule. Googling a rule and going to the official website is much more reliable in heat of the moment situation when a specific rule is questioned.

Having the rules on your phone is great, as long as you know EXACTLY where to turn. The search feature is by far the worst of any app I have ever used. It is worthless.

Doesn’t load anything. Click on little league rule book and it says sorry- something went wrong. Can I get my $2 back.

One of the worst apps I have ever tried to use. Don’t waste your $1.99. Buy a printed copy. At least you’ll be able to find items in lest than a day.

Not intuitive whatsoever, and search functionality is useless. Buy the book!

I know it’s only $2 but it’s principal. Charging your volunteer coaches when they are already donating their time while Williamsport is taking in billions.

The search function is trash. Even if you copy and paste the exact words the search engine still will not find it.

App won’t open downloaded multiple times and keeps saying something went wrong error

Videos would be nice if they actually had sound that worked

The book is a great start and has had some great updates. It is still lacking in some areas.

My husband has difficulty reading on his phone and likes to use LittleLeagueRulebook rulebook to find things quickly. He then goes to a paper copy of the book. He (and I) would like to see page numbers in LittleLeagueRulebook so we can cross reference both.

We also need the ability to better bookmarks. We would like to be able to have multiple bookmarks in the sections. It would be great to be able to name them so we find things better.

Thank you for making it free. Now more people (managers and coaches especially) will have a copy of the rulebook and hopefully read it.
