Love this game SO much but had to stop playing. I made a few boneheaded choices after playing for a while and realized that the game does not give you the option to “restart”…..you can “reset” individual airports, but you will never have the opportunity to earn back the gold coins you earned while “learning” the game (and spent foolishly). Without those coins it is VERY difficult if not impossible to advance past a certain point. The developer should give the option to lose ALL progress and just restart fresh, but they don’t. This to me comes off as just another ploy to get you to spend those coins when you don’t know what you are doing, which forces you to PAY to advance. So much promise in this game, but now realizing it’s just another pay to play repeat. Without an option to restart I guess I’ll be moving on, as there ARE game developers that aren’t like that

“If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” This game was almost perfect but the 2023 update has made some huge, terrible changes. The game is COMPLETELY different. My fleet that I bought and designed is GONE. Planes/destinations which took hours of gameplay to open are GONE. I had tons of gates available at each airport that I opened prior to the update, but now I’m only able to handle 2 or 3 planes at a time. I’ll probably have to spend hours to get that many planes (and airlines) on the ground again, but now I’m not sure I want to do that. Pretty much all gameplay progress is gone. I now have to start from scratch. I’m all for the better graphics but the gameplay is very different. I don’t like that I now need to tell planes to takeoff and land. This feels too similar to the game Unmatched: Air Traffic Control, which also does that but this was a feature of WOA that I enjoyed before the update. I could focus on the planes and not have to worry about takeoff and landing. I also can’t follow a plane without it being highlighted in blue. This wasn’t the case prior to the update. If WOA wanted to make changes this big, they should have made a new, separate game. Instead, they made a new game by starting from scratch and made lots of people really mad.

This game was excellent PRIOR to the new ”2.0” update. Bring back the automatic landings and takeoffs; this ‘micro-managing’ is for the birds. I much preferred the game generating an incoming flight and me assigning an available gate, landing and taxiing to the gate. A quirk in the old version was I wished there was a button in the aircraft’s task window that selected all available tasks to be completed rather than individually selecting each one. Other than that, it was great. I was making great progress through the different airports, however the new version is very slow. I like having the airport’s gates full. Now, I’m lucky to have 10 jets on ground. I think the programmers got too over zealous in such a big update so quick. A lot was changed; taking away what worked and what made it fun for this new “LESSER” version - updates and revamps are not always progress. This is an entirely new game pretty much and it’s hard to get to know the new rules and actions required. 2.0 UPDATE FAIL.
