Took at least 10 pictures of the same strain couldn’t identify it but once and it wasn’t even right🤦🏽‍♂️ y’all need to make this better🥱

Yeah this is a big no . Scanned multiple strains I got from the dispensary and not one accurate reading . I even read the comments and tried multiple times . I would not recommend if you want accuracy

Tried app on 2 strains. Both strains are commercial, state issued in labeled containers. I tested each strain 2-3 times.

THCWeedIdentifier provides 3 possible matches & it was 1-3 on one (& 0-3 on the other) with the correct response being #3 @ 51% chance. It fell woefully short on the THC% on both.

I will keep trying for awhile, to collect more data, but, for now, THCWeedIdentifier seems to need major improvement to have usefulness.

Works best to take picture with your phone then use it from your gallery for the identifier. But something is better than nothing.

Took a pic of about 10gs of purple punch &Shine brand from local dispensary..it guessed blue dream, gorilla glue, or white widow. Tried a couple g’s of S.C. Slimer, also &Shine brand, it guessed Sour Diesel, AK 75, and something else. I tried purple punch again and it gave the same results as the first time. I really honestly wanted THCWeedIdentifier to work! Disappointed but honestly didn’t expect an app to be able to identify a strain by picture only lol.

I like that app the only thing that i hate about it is … sometimes i have to keep taking a pictures of the bud. Other than that its good .

I’ve only had THCWeedIdentifier for about an hour and my mind is BLOWN.... I tried it with a few strains that I already knew. All correct. I had trouble with another strain but honestly I didn’t have enough to take a quality picture. After a few tries it correctly recognized Sour Diesel! Make sure you take clear pictures, with all noticeable features of the weed. Coolest app ever.

THCWeedIdentifier applies machine learning to marijuana categorization, and it works- it works quite well! While I don't think this can ever completely replace chemical testing, the results I've seen have been completely accurate. I highly recommend.
