Whatifi: Interactive Movies Reviews

Ok I found Whatifi from an ad on Instagram and I’m so glad I did! Whatifi is free like actually free! Though there are only two stories as of now they are still pretty great! Whatifi is pretty clever with all its mechanics. I think it’s really cool that you can invite friends to watch with you, even though I’d probably not use it. It’s still cool to have.

My criticism as of now is sometimes having the little icons of who is watching can be a little distracting. I wish I could tap the screen and the icons would fade along with the pause button. But I understand why they are there. My last bit of criticism is the “invite to choose this option” feature. I TOTALLY understand that Whatifi is new and needs people to share Whatifi with others. But for me personally I don’t really want to do this.

Whatifi is great and hope for further success in the future!

My friends and I are in love with this game. It’s nice virtually bonding. Some options haven’t been completed yet but that hasn’t stopped us from playing 3 days in a row. I wish there was a way to keep up with the choices you’ve already made in order to prevent from making the same choices. Every story line ends completely different. I can’t wait until their are more games to play. Thank you for Whatifi!

I downloaded Whatifi just out of curiosity but I love it so much! The stories are so brilliantly planned out and the acting is great. And it’s so fascinating seeing all the endings and all the decisions. Absolutely would recommend you download even if it’s just to try it out, I think it’s worth the download and that it will definitely draw you in. Props to Whatifi developers for making such a great and enjoyable app!

I’m currently watching As Dead As It Gets and it’s fantastic, great acting and quality, clever writing, all the works. My only problem is the choosing of the options itself a lot of the time I can’t select the decision I want it just reverts back to the center once you swipe up or down, I’ve tried holding it or doing it quick. It seems to only work once you’ve closed and reopened Whatifi a few times. I have a XS max so I’m hoping it’s nothing on my side.

I love Whatifi already I am obsessed. I can’t wait to see where Whatifi goes. I wish they had more options in what shows to do bc I would much rather go for a romance comedy or something that be super cool rather than suspense stuff (it the only thing they have AS OF RN). So I am super excited for Whatifi to grow and stuff. I’m trying to get my friends into it but honestly it may be hard rn but Whatifi is such a great idea I bet it’s going to be HUGE in the future.

I downloaded Whatifi and have had it open for 5 minutes and already love it. The idea behind it is genius! Watch free movies with your friends, in a chair your own story format. The UI is beautiful, simple, and clever. And Whatifi dose everything in vertical Cinema style. I can tell that the devs have spent a lot of time making this a very clean and fun app. Keep it up!

I have enjoyed this decision game so far but when it come to decision options it is limited because of a glitch. I try sliding up/down but am only allowed one option. I think it might be a bug maybe even exclusive to Apple smartphones, but I’ve spend time in Whatifi and just want it to work in the way that was marketed towards me as a consumer. This type of idea has great potential, and it would be a great disappointment if a simple flaw changed that. Please update the software so future problems won’t occur.

I just started using Whatifi and to be honest it’s amazing. The acting... amazing. The quality... amazing. Just one thing. They don’t have enough movies to browse. Like why can’t we watch horror? Or romance? Or comedy. This is not me hating because I love Whatifi I’m just asking if there were more stories

While I do like A good amount of the features on Whatifi and the fact that there are multiple endings and ways to be inclusive. I am not a big fan of the feature where you are forced to add on a friend to use an option. It limits the storyline a lot more than you would like and seems like more of a feature to try and get more people into Whatifi when it should be a genuine interest.

If you’re a big fan of interactive games like the “life is strange” series and the “Kimmy Schmidt v. The Reverend “ interactive show you’ll love this series. Obviously these episodes have their own original stories and you never see the plot twists coming. Anyway not a lot of attention at all for Whatifi so if u use it feel free to reach out to maybe watch with sense nobody’s on bored ig😅

When I first got it I was like “I’m not gonna use it but it sounds cool I guess”. Now however I got my friends to download it and I’ve been using it multiple times a week. Trust me when I say this... Get it you won’t regret it

Whatifi is really great the acting and the choices you have to make for the characters and stuff but.i don't really have friends in my contacts so can you make a option to watch the movies solo and trio please because some of us like to watch an movie solo while people in groups like to do it trio. This is amazing but I don't know why we need to invite people I rate this an

I was liking the story, but don’t force people to have to play this with other people. We shouldn’t have to.. I don’t want a shared experience and it’s not advertised openly as only being a shared experience game. Putting stipulations on the game ruined it for me personally and I literally just started playing. You’re basically choosing the ending for me if I don’t want to or have friends to add.

Hello! I love Whatifi but I have one small issue. When I go to click continue for whatever movie I am watching, it doesn’t work at all. I always have to go back from the beginning of the movie and skip through just to get back to where a was. Please fix this!

What an amazing app! This is like Netflix, but you can decide what the characters do. Just watching a long movie is so boring that I get really tired and lose focus like halfway through. So this is freaking fantastic that I can play along while watching.

I really enjoyed the game a lot it was a surreal experience, it’s like Whatifi eko. Both amazing story games, only Eko doesn’t require you to have friends to watch or continue stories. I don’t have friends meaning I can’t choose some choices. So sadly I can’t continue enjoying Whatifi and perhaps even using it.

I really like the movies and the live stream events that happen ☺️ me and my friend try to play whenever we can and we even forced some of our friends to get it and join the fun with us :D 10/10

I really love this game I love the graphics ,the storylines, the choices and the characters but there is one problem with the game it’s really hard for me to interest my Friends in playing the game with me I also try to put my family but they’re not as interested as I am in the game.

Ok the game seems cool but I just have a problem with HAVING to use your phone number and not having an option to use your email. I don’t trust random people knowing my phone number. Also, I have a problem with it knowing who your contacts are and what your browsing history is. That’s WAY too personal.

This game is the best I loveee it but I don’t think u should have to invite a friend to make certain decisions also I loveeeeee how there are just so many different outcomes I can’t wait until there are more stories

It’s like watching a movie unfold but you and your friends can dictate how it happens! A fun, new way to share an experience with your friends.

Whatifi is so different from all other movie apps, really cool interactions. I love the As Dead As It Gets movie. Can’t wait for more.

a good gammmememe but after i got 2 solo endings it wont let me keep watching so i invited a lot of people but it kept giving me a time for when i could start playing again it statted as 23 minutes and now its at 11 but i’ve been waiting all day to start playing again i don’t get it😭😭😭

This is a really fun app! It allowed me and my friends to argue about what the characters should do. Cool concept!

Wow! I just watched my first 2 tries and it was awesome! I think I got a good ending for both. I solely recommend Whatifi because the interactions make it even more fun! Thank you for creating a masterpiece

AND I WAS JUST ABOUT TO RATE THIS A 5 STAR for being so good and I was gonna write all the good details about it.. now it’s ruined for me.

I think you’re losing more people from that than gaining from invites

Whatifi is very well designed.

I really like how it summarizes previously seen segments and will let you skip to the decision point.

I'm not fond of it being iPhone only. I prefer to watch things on my iPad.

I'm also not a fan of it being portrait only.

What really annoys me is the two solo endings per 24 hours. I realize Whatifi is built to be social, but this is annoyingly limited. It's this your way of trying to force us to recruit others and grow your users?

There is no android app, so that cuts out a lot of my friends.

I'm really hesitant to give Whatifi access to my contacts.

I really liked the first movie I watched. I just wish I could watch more without having to nag friends to join me.

The verification code took at least 10 minutes to send and when it did send I put in the code and it said incorrect when it wasn’t
