Transcribe Audio to Text Notes Reviews

Was excited to see how it worked and was planning to purchase the Pro $24.(00 or .99) per month. Next step down was only $10.?? Per month but limited to 2 hours recording.
I attempted two different test. I’m writing a novel and like to take notes when they hit me. I don’t like going back and attempting to decipher my own recordings later on but, taking written notes is easy to incorporate into my writing.
1st attempt reading the first couple of paragraphs. Stopped at the 7:00 minute mark and hit the transcribe 1 minute for free. Received an error message. Then attempted to email and see if it would transcribe that free 1 minute. No go🤔
I repeated the process but spoke slower and enunciated the words much more clearly. Again the error message We’re sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again.

Can’t imagine doing this over and over again every time I’m driving and want some clear notes for a couple of paragraphs every day.
Obviously won’t be purchasing now that it failed the simple will it do the basics of working at least good enough I can remember what I wanted to transcribe.
Off to find another successful product that works on a phone and won’t cost $300 😳

So I tried this Transcriber free for a few items and it worked great. I needed more storage I needed more time. I need more things transcribed so I paid for the subscription. Once I paid for the subscription, it stopped working. I kept getting a message. Please try again. So I reached out to the email for customer service and took them a few hours to get back to me telling me to change the format which I had already done and it still won’t work. So now they have my money and I can’t transcribe anything and I can’t get any help so if you need it for a trial. And you don’t have to pay for it then it’s great but once you pay for it it stops working. So save your money.

You expect me to pay you and also give you my personal information to sell??? Scam

In response to your response. On the front screen there is a check box to approve data collection. On the data collection page it states very clearly that the data will be collected and sold. Wish I could put screenshots here. You can say “oh you don’t have to check that” but no way I trust you won’t do it anyway.

Purchased TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes to transcribe a recording from an instructor development workshop. The transcript was worthless - jumbled wording that was incongruent and nonsensical. Out of hundreds of sentences not one was remotely close to being correct. I immediately contacted customer support and they would not provide a refund. Okay. I asked them for help in a follow up request to unsubscribe. No reply. I sent another request and they ignored that one as well.

I paid the $30 fee for this application hoping it could transcribe some voice recordings to text, but it failed to work. Every time I try to transcribe anything it stays on “in progress” I downloaded another app which is way better and actually worth the $30. TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes I’m now using is Otter it converts voice recording within 1 to 5 minutes and it’s only $12/month.

TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes has proven itself to be completely unreliable. Each time I have tried to transcribe a recording, it fails. It gets about 80% done uploading and then it quits. I get an error message stating that “something went wrong” and to try again. Not only that, but it takes nearly an hour to upload the recording—that ultimately doesn’t actually get uploaded. What a huge waste of time and money.

I intended to try it as a live transcription app like androids native live transcribe app. After reviewing TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes realized I would be making a mortgage payment if I decided to use it as intended. I put $$ into a Samsung Tab 7 FE 5G so now I have the feature without the recurring expense. Sorry Apple over charges developer to create the apps and monetize their efforts $$$$

I have 2 audio recordings that I’m uploading to several transcribing apps to see which app I like best and to which I will ultimately subscribe. One of my recordings is a single speaker lecture, the other is several speakers in a conversation. I want to test TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes ’s ability to differentiate different speakers, punctuation, accuracy, ability to edit, etc, etc.

Unfortunately, I am unable to test anything at all in TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes. It is paid only for everything. No trial, no testing, nothing. It looks like a good one but I won’t rely on developer word. If I cannot try it, I will not buy it. Moving on.

I recorded my college lecture to be able to go back and write down the important things later on. I downloaded TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes and uploaded my recordings. Waited about 5 hours for them to be transcibed. What ever system they are using is horrible. None of the transciption made sense at all. It barely caught any of what my professor said. Also, during this class no one is talking because it is a difficult class. There was barely any backround noise whatsoever and my professor speaks clearly.

When I did a test run on TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes it worked perfectly. However, after using it for recording an over one hour session, I sent the recording to be transcribed. When the notification came that the file was transcribed. I waited a day or two to download it. The file was gone. Nowhere to be found. Now I have no note, no anything from the session. Sent customer service a request for assistance. No response. Just sent off another request for assistance.

App would either delete recordings or not record or stop while recording as well getting you transcripts are like waiting for paint to dry plus the file names are all over the place and the only way to organize them are by the dates they was added.

The minimum amount I have to pay to even see if it does a good job is $11 or $13 .. just to see if it even works

It should allow us to transcribe one audio for free or even 1 minute of a audio note just to see if it works so we can then potentially want more and then pay for it

I mean I’m sure it works but then again I wish this option could be improved because I don’t know about others but I’m not willing to risk paying and not liking the results

It would be nice if they had a free option longer than what? Less than 30 minutes?? Or anything to export. I don't know the rates are just way too high! And honestly, I find Apple's voice Control works much better than they're translater

The accuracy is quite satisfactory even though there are some mistakes in transcripts. However I really appreciate so many language options, this surely saves me a ton of time. If you're searching for a good enough & quick transcription app for macOS, this is it!

This is the best app I have found so far. I like to listen to prayer. I use this transcriber to record and it tracer to words for me in one minute. Then I can read it again and again! I also use it to record my speaking and print it out.

It's my go-to app for speech transcription now. I had some issues with it crashing in earlier versions, but I checked again and they fixed everything. Good job

Audio Transcription is easy with this great app. You just record the sentence you want transcribed,then submit your email and you receive your transcribed audio. Simple as that and TranscribeAudiotoTextNotes works well with no issues too.

I've been waiting for a high-quality transcription app I can use for voice notes stored in my laptop. This one has worked flawlessly for me so far.

How long should it take to transcribe 1 hour of audio? 15 minutes? 2 hours? These is the kind of information that should be easy to find, and it's not.
