It’s just a random number generator, not real sim.

I was excited at first, I thought I was progressing and getting better, increasing my vision and pass to “get more assists”

Let me tell you, I reset age twice already, and still haven’t won the championship once. Have not gotten a triple double (or even 10 assists in a game lol)!

I am a 99 overall, everything maxed, and still the stats are wonky and all over the place. 8 points 1 assist, 2 rebounds.

Or then 4pts 0ast 2reb
Or 10pts 1ast 6reb

I kept waiting to see when any of my upgrades would translate into the game, THEY DONT!

The team I play on gets 70 ovr rookies lol. Meanwhile the Houston get 24 year olds with 98 overall lol. Seriously the #2 and #3 best player are Centers from Houston in my game.

The warriors, thunder, rockets, raptors

They have the best players and there are no contracts so they keep their players forever lol.

Can’t improve your team. I am in 2070 and still haven’t won a championship lol. The closest I got was 3-3 in the final game.

I have changed teams to the best team and even the previous year champions and nope.

I spent like $6 to keep tapping and increasing a “overall” meter that didn’t mean anything.

I do not recommend.

Was Fun...

It’s a fun and interesting game, I’m definitely gonna play out my players career and then pay the simple .99 to turn back the time with same attributes so I can make him the best player in the pro league
(Update)
It seemed cool at first but after a few hours I soon realized you would actually need to pay to make your character any good and so I decided to and now my character is rated 99 in almost everything and is rated 97 overall yet Is wildly inconsistent and rarely scores more than 20 points plus the same teams are really good in the pro league (warriors, Celtics, etc.) and are basically unbeatable plus there is no way to help your team win overall I’m disappointed and wish there was more realism to my stats and the way the games play out

There's potential but needs a lot of work

I'm almost done with my first character and I'm a 36 year old still playing college basketball. I transfer schools every year or two so I guess that keeps me from graduating but I think the NCAA would still frown on this. Also they're paying me. But not enough to afford to improve my skills enough to get to the NBA. I get the feeling that the game REALLY wants me to spend real money to get cash or reset my age to 18 so it bends over backwards to break the gameplay. Some parts are fun but it is so unrealistic as a basketball simulation that it's ruined. Get rid of the fake college leagues or make them actually college, make improving your character without spending real money possible, give better stats in games and make them correspond to your skills, and this could be a lot better

Fun but has its quirks

I love basketball and this game is a fun way to play out a career. It’s a bit odd tho, I’ve been in college for 7 years, still D2. I’ll be in my 40s before I even am close to being drafted. You get paid by your college teams and that money goes to building your stats. You make very little money and very quickly hit a point where a single stat bump costs your full paycheck. The game is clearly made as a pay to play but I don’t spend money on mobile apps so we shall see how long it takes me to get out of college lol. It would also be nice to see your stats for the season besides just a quick blip after each game. Also would be nice to see more stats then the big 3, points assists and rebounds. Why am I adding stats to steals or blocks if I have no clue how many I get? So all and all I’d say you have about half of an awesome game, feels unfinished in the fact that that there’s a lot missing. (More stats after games, season averages, league averages, your stats from previous seasons/teams) but it’ll be fun to see how long it takes me to get my guy to the NBA lol.

Good game but could see some fixes

Overall the game is well constructed and has a great idea. First issue is that player progression has to be a lot faster in order to have us enter the nba quicker. In my case I’m already 23 yrs old but still in D2 college while putting up 20+ points 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists a game. With that being said, they also need to add player stats into the game, not only for your individual player but for everyone in each league. I also feel there needs to be a more efficient way to make money, I really enjoy the property and businesses methods but since they’re high priced it would still take a while to make a profit. Like I mentioned player progression needing to be faster, they need to make it where xp is more accessible so you can upgrade faster. A badge system wouldn’t be too bad either where badges apply to each category, defense, playmaking, shooting, finishing, to make each player more unique and have their own play style.
It would also be a great addition if you could create player models either just for your character or everyone else. For example adjusting your players height, weight, wingspan, jersey number, handedness etc… Ik that’s a stretch since this is just a simulation game but if that could be implemented that’d be a great feature. This game has a lot of potential and I see that many people enjoy this game as is, but if made further adjustments by the devs this game would be top tier.

Fun Game

Only change I’d make is making team rosters available in the trade market menu. As a lower tier player, it’s hard to search thru all the different conferences to find the teams that are interested in me. It would be easier if tapping the team name would pop up the teams roster and record so I can assess if I want to join or not easily. Another thing is the simulation. I don’t understand how I’ve maxed my 3 since I was an 88 OVR and I’m the second best player on the team but I’m held to 6 points and 0 points with a 95+ motivation and determination. That’s like saying Russell Westbrook or James Harden or Lebron James or Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry could get held to under 10 for an ENTIRE PLAYOFF SERIES. FOR MULTIPLE YEARS. It simply would not happen. I don’t mind the losses, but when I’m the superstar of the team and I can’t get ten it ruins the legitimacy of upgrading my attributes. With a 99 3 I should hit atleast 2 or 3 a game, and if I have a 0-11 game, I’m still an all time shooter and should bounce back like we’ve seen curry play and harden do in real life. I just want the attributes to mean something bc it seems like they’re thrown out the moment the simulation begins

The game is great!

Throughout my gameplay the game isn’t bad it’s pretty good. I just wished that our stats for my player would be more impactful because looking at the stats for each game that i played isn’t much considering that i make around a little less than 15 points. I get that this game is an unrealistic but it would be cool to make more points than rather having less points after games. For example after a game i would get around 5 to 9 points and little assist and rebounds even though my levels for them are set kinda high. But besides that the game is good. I enjoy it a lot. Keep up the good work devs!

Amazing

This game is really good if you are a basketball fan I would give it 5 stars but there are a couple of things keeping it from being perfect to me and the first is it takes waaay to long to become an NBA player you will be atleast 23 24 years of age even if you do buy in game currency to upgrade your player which is crazy and I think the option to buy back your youth making you 18 years of age again is not a good way to go about it and the second thing is there should be Highschool level before college I don’t wanna start in the bottom of D2 schools everytime there should be Highschool games to determine what division of colleges looks at you and you shoul be able to DECLARE FOR THE NBA DRAFT !!!!!!!!!

Good... could be Great.

Taking control of your player from 18 and navigating him through college to the pros is amazing. Choosing the stats you want to improve and make the player how you want. It’s great to see the performance from game to game.

However, why can’t I see the conference stats for all players? The data is already there from the games. Can’t we just have a screen to see how we compare to other players in our conference ?

I love seeing the points, rebounds and assist, but why can’t we have the other stat line? We can improve blocking, stealing and everything else but no stats for in game ?

Choosing which college I go to is fun. Players should get paid and it makes sense so you can improve your player. But you are telling me I can’t make a D1 until I’m 24?

The age of your character in the game and how you progress do not match up. I should be going into the NBA at 25.
So if I don’t get to a D1 until I’m 24 then how the heck does that make sense?

The game is really great for the stat geeks and the rpg. It’s just missing these other details that round out good games and make them great games that you can’t put down.

Keep it up!
Raymond

Great game

I really like this game but there are a few problems. First of all, it takes too long to upgrade high enough to get in the league. There are a few solutions, like lowering the starter age to 14 and play throughout high school first, make repping up faster, or give more exp. The problem with the exp is the costs to upgrade them! They cost so much and the money compensation isnt enough to upgrade everything. Another problem is the contracts. Their unrealistic. You can be signed as a reserve with a high wage, and when resigning comes around, you don’t get a higher wage, bonus, money per win, money per appearance, captain wage, all of that just doesn’t work. you get offered less as the best player than you would if you were a backup.

Really fun,but

This game is really fun and simple once you get the hang of it. I just downloaded so I don’t know if the developers update it, but there is 2 things you need to change. Based off the way rep works it’s almost like you should start off in middle school because I should not have to be at the age of 30+ (After all that upgrading) to just finally make the league or be at college for the years 18-30+ until I’m drafted(It’s not realistic). Another thing is the 4 hour wait after a single season. It’s either we shouldn’t have to wait at all since this game is a grind already based off of what I said above, or you make it so we can play for 5+ seasons then wait a hour at the minimum since this is a game. Otherwise it’s a really fun game and you will enjoy it.

Not too shabby

Pretty good simulator. Minor oddity in that my point guard gets way more rebounds than assists, even though I barely add to the rebound skill and add to whatever I can that I think should contribute to attaining assists. Think about 10-11 rebound skill and 30 passing, 28 dribble, 25 aware, mid to upper 20s in everything else handle and pass related.

Game stats come out like: 9 reb, 2 asst, 22 pts. Sometimes 4 reb, 4 asst, 19 pts. But more often my point guard out rebounds everyone else on the team by a wide margin, regularly and gets out-assisted by others on the team, usually the center of all things. Only in the second season and it's generally been this way on both teams character has played for. Maybe it normalizes at some point further out? Idk.

Aside from that, only other thing I can think of to improve the game would be to add season and career stats. If they're already in here somewhere I can't find them.

Anyway, despite those quibbles, I generally find the game to be fairly fun and compelling. Worth a try if you're into the concept.

Super fun

Hello,

I’ve been playing this game and started numerous careers. I get to a point where the business and contracts are making enough due to salary’s being capped at $2k it seems like I’ve made more. But it still isn’t enough to upgrade your traits. Once you get to a certain point it becomes almost impossible to upgrade your player. If you can update the game to add some sort of way to balance out the pay and what not it would be more fun and give you a better chance to make the league. Unless I am just doing something wrong.

Simple yet fun

Nothing more to it. If you’re looking for a simple basketball career experience without the hassle of having to play every single game, this is what you’re looking for. It’s your average decision based game where you build your player into a star, negotiate your contracts, and work all the way up to the big leagues. One odd part of the game is that you can play in college until you’re 30+ and that you also get paid to play in college. I hope one day you get the option to forgo college and play pro overseas, or play college and either get drafted to a pro team or go undrafted and travel elsewhere to play. Overall a solid game and an easy yet fun way to spend a few hours of your time.

Great game and time sink

I honestly downloaded this with no expectations just because I love basketball and have been missing the season. But after somehow playing for 2 hours straight this sim is incredible. It has great depth and a really great start where you build your player up without any restrictions but still enough challenge where you can’t just breeze through. The choices could definitely be a little bit better and maybe more often especially for essentially a basketball life simulator but great game nonetheless. This game will definitely hold a spot on my phone for a time to come and is great for a car ride or train ride home. Only complaint is I wish there was an option to see player stats, especially your own during or even after the season. But other than that, love it.

Great game only one problem I had

Ok so first I’m gonna start by saying I love this game it’s very exciting to play and I can’t stop however my only complaint is earlier today I bought the medium bundle which gives you the full game and 12 million dollars I got the full game so I don’t have to wait 4 hours anymore but the 12 million I was supposed to get never appeared on my account, I refreshed the game and tried to restore my purchase but still never got my money so could you please fix that so I can have my money’s worth of what I paid for please

Super fun game but some problems

This right now is the best game on BasketballSuperstar Store and highly underrated but a few things that would make the game better is to where you can see your player stats over the years not really a problem just something that I would want but a issue that I have with the game is the 4 hour wait to just play the game again I feel the game would be better and attract more attention if this was changed to something else . I also don’t like how hard it is to get out of a division two school It is highly unrealistic to be a 26 year old in college getting 50 points a night and still not be at least in division 1 or national basketball league. But other than all that this game is very good and hope you guys can make it better than what it already is

Fun way to unwind

Really draws you in, yet you really don’t need to be super mentally involved. You can play for extended periods or just when you have a few minutes here and there. As games go, I’m extremely happy with it. If you plan on achieving NBA allstar status, you’ll probably need to buy a cheat like the “old head, young shoulders” option, but if you’re not worried about that, you really don’t need to spend any money at all. Thanks for a game without annoying ads and without pressure to buy a bunch of stuff - I can just enjoy playing it.

More options and younger start

I love this game but it can do better like giving us the option to start in middle school for a team then moving to a high school team where the performance of your high school career determines which colleges want to sign you for example if you won back to back championships and were the best player out of your class you can immediately can jump to d1 and if you did mediocre you can jump to d2 and if you did bad or no sign of improvement you land in the bottom and for more options like asking your agent if you can ask or receive any sponsorships and you can have a task bar that that’s has requirements to achieve the sponsorship or team but you have to complete the tasks before you can tryout Thanks for this message and hope this can be updated

Surprising

For what it is it’s very addicting. Wasn’t expecting to enjoy a text based game this much. I think the upgrade/post game transition menu could use some reworking. The upgrade bar is just odd on a large iPad, maybe changing the color of the bar in an abc pattern would help identify which one I’m upgrading. Menus overall could just use an upgrade in ease of use and attractiveness albeit the appearance isn’t ugly just bland. In app purchases aren’t forced down the players throats and I find it extremely refreshing!
