This game is one of the most peaceful and beautiful games I have ever played (and I have played a lot of games), and may even be my favorite game ever. Yes, there are a few ads, but that is how the game makes money and with it being as good as it is when it’s FREE, I can surely deal with them. Plus, unlike most free mobile games, the ads are not constant and do not make you want to throw your phone across the room. I do not understand why this game isn’t that popular, as it is one of the most relaxing games ever. It also isn’t too easy like most relaxing games, so you do not get sick of it so easily. There are so many goals you can try to reach for, like collecting all the fish and objects, exploring all the different worlds, buying the best boat and character, or maxing out all of your tools. There are even events everyday with a different world per event. Finally, this game is by far the most relaxing game I played. The music is lovely, the sounds are peaceful, and casting your fishing rod and watching it sink down really eases you. If I had to describe this game in one word, that word would be perfection. Love it. Keep up the amazing work creators! And to all the people debating on whether or not to get it... get it! You won’t regret it!

I just started playing this game and I just wanna say best game to fish and just relax. This game is amazing I love playing it and it just fun to fish to the music. It would be cool if you could add a feature were you can customize your own little fishing hut like the more coins you get the more you can buy for your hut so like how you can upgrade your boat and character. Just upgrade your hut the way you like it and it can give you better bonuses like. 1.) better fish prices 2.) daily hooks or lures you can collect. 3.) a place were you can like savor fish and sell them to other people or character to make another way of profit. 4.) a cool place to show off your fish that you caught and mount them on the wall or something. 5.) a dock were you can hire fisher guys to go out on other boats and just fish to gain more money which would be like small fish and sometimes big fish to catch would be cool.

This game is fun when it comes to collecting the bizarre types of fish left for you to catch, but the mechanics for catching the fish are just so irritating! For example, when I tried to catch the golden terrapin, which I had worked so hard to prepare, there was just so much fish surrounding the sinking area that it was just so hard to catch, in fact, I lost it. whenever your bait is just right next to a fish, it just sees it and zips right to it and it is very hard to maneuver through all the fish that just swim in that area, and also fish even eat bait that is either their same grade, lower or higher. I mean the game is okay, but to go to my full satisfaction, it’s really going to need some things fixed.

Lot more stressful then you think. This free game is just not worth it. Starting off is rough because you have to upgrade your bait in order to catch bigger fish. In order to “level up” your bait you have to use smaller fish to use as bait. Once upgraded you can catch bigger fish only to find out your rod isn’t high enough level. Sometimes a smaller fish you didn’t want will get caught and your bait that you worked to upgrade is now gone. Good thing you can spend in-game currency to buy lures to avoid the smaller fish but if you try to catch too big of a fish that bait and lure is now wasted. It’s also really difficult to earn in-game currency. You only get money for selling the fish but you can’t sell the fish if you use it as bait, so essentially it becomes a cycle of trying to get better bait to catch bigger fish but only catch the small ones to use as bait again. The only real way to earn in-game currency is by watching ads.

I discovered this game while looking for apps to try and I’m so happy I found this!! First off, The art is really stunning and has a nice simplistic style to it (that’s ALWAYS a plus for me since I like to draw myself) second, the gameplay is fun and interesting, but not super intense, it’s pretty chill! I feel like a lot of games in the AppStore constantly beg for money or make it so its nearly impossible to progress without app purchases (EA basically) but this game actively hands out “coins” and free prizes, I’m able to easily progress without paying.
Third, it’s just a really cute game and I enjoy playing it!
I was pretty surprised to find it doesn’t have many downloads because it’s hecka high quality. it’s super underrated honestly and more people should know about it!

The beginning of the game makes it seem like there’s an objective; to catch a whale. But it’s nearly impossible. You have to use your gold to buy all of these upgrades, but they’re very expensive, and it’s not easy to get enough gold for anything, once you’re far enough into the game.
It’s also extremely difficult to catch anything other than one and two start fish. One star fish are far too common, and will always snag the bait before anything else gets a chance to get it. You can buy things to equip, but you’re wasting thousands of gold on something that’s a one time use, and not even guaranteed to work. I enjoyed playing the game at first, but now that I’ve made more progress, it is just far too difficult to obtain anything at all, and I just feel like deleting it. There is only one thing that comes easy in this game; ads.

I never write reviews on apps but I think FishingandLife deserves more credit. i’ve been playing for a week now and it’s hard to get the bigger fish when the other fish are in the way but if it wasn’t for that the game would be too easy. The ads sometimes get annoying but it’s not like some apps where it’s just spam ads at you and you can always turn off your Internet and you won’t get any but this game is relaxing you can put a podcast on in the background and grind away. it’s a addicting game and I think it’s worth a try. just don’t give up instantly

This game is better in my opinion than most other fishing games, the backgrounds are really nice the graphics are nice and the music is calming! I do have some ideas for what might make the game a little more entertaining! First off, when you get FishingandLife there is a little cartoon scene, I think the scene was a nice touch, but they should a little bit more of the “Life aspect”. The game is called fish and life, but there isn’t any life aspect! So maybe you can have control of the character and be able to take him into town and upgrade his fishing cabin! I’m sure the producers can get creative with it, but I think there should be more life aspect!

This game is really good me and my cousin have been hooked to this game and I do recommend it honestly if you are bored get this game also since it doesn’t need WiFi you can play it anywhere it’s also really addicting the music is also very well done the game has easy controls so it’s super easy to get used to and in a way it’s exactly like cat goes fishing it’s definitely a good game it is a little bit frustrating like having a high level bate and a small fish takes and there is a little ads but that honestly doesn’t impact how I view this game I love and I will always love it.

I love the game! Most favorite game ever but you should make it to where little fish can’t take your big baits! You spend all this money on big expensive baits and then they all go away because the little fish take! I think based on the level of fish, that’s the only fish that can eat it! Like when your going for three star fish, a 1 star shouldn’t be able to eat your big lure! If you have a three star bait on, it should only be aloud to catch two starts and up that’s it! I hate those little fish but other than the fish bait thing, the game is fricken amazing! Would recommend it to anyone!

ok so,not to bad, I like how there's maps and tons of fish. but it's not relaxing at all and it can be stressful, bc you need smaller fish to catch bigger fish right? You can have level 3 bait and a level 1 fish just snatches it. BOOM !💥You just lost you're level 3 that YOU WORKED HARD FOR. and about the relaxing thing, to many ads to be "RelAxInG." not much to do, but I like how you can have aquariums, but why does it take a ad to feed you're fish? maybe just make it 200 coins or 100 or something. and developers (I'm talking to every single one) you all are so lazy and never listen to you're customers it's kinda ridiculous. but ok game it gets boring fast though.

I was bored and just casually looked up fishing games and saw this one. I live the minimalist look to it and it is super well played and fun. The music is super calm and is full of new things to earn and aim for at every moment. I honestly love it and don’t see much problems with it. I recommend to anyone looking for a calm game. Especially people who like to fish. One thing I recommend is that each star bait should be aimed at a certain fish star rating because all the one star keep eating the stuff I’m using for the marlin and Goliath grouper. I started fishing in the new Sea of Science and a couple of issues came up regarding the aquarium: 1. Half of my fish and decorations are missing in the aquarium, even though they are on the progress bar below and not grayed out. And those items disappeared from the aquarium after I sold my bowhead whale to make room for the dumbo octopus.

2. I have to restore my data constantly to get the coin counter in the aquarium to move.
Please fix these. Thanks!
I do love this game, just not this glitch. Watching the fish in the aquarium is very soothing. I’d love to be able to see them all.

It’s a really nice looking game and the simple controls are nice for a mobile game I don’t care so much about ads as the actual progression in the game by this I mean it’s just too difficult to catch anything higher than a common fish because the common fish are everywhere at basically the surface of the water and even when you upgrade your bait the common fish still can latch on. Either lower the spawn rate for the common fish or make it so only certain fish go after baited hooks (depending on how upgraded the bait is and how high level the fish is) I really like the game but it’s far too frustrating at the moment. Hopefully these issues are fixed because I’d love to continue playing it

So, great game, with some bugs and glitches that need to be worked on. I’ve played this for a while, even on its release date. Thats not why I rated it 2 stars. I rated it 2 stars because of the excruciatingly painful amount of ads you have to watch to get money and progress in the game. You have to watch an ad to go to a new area on the map, even if you bought a boat after watching 10 times the amount of ads it would take to get to the area. That’s ridiculous. I get it, developers need to make money, but this game has sacrificed gameplay in the process with ads.

I’d recommend this game if you don’t mind watching so many ads, or they change this.

This game can be enjoyed by many different people with different gaming styles. If you like collecting, you can collect fish. If you want to relax, this game will calm you. And if you like over coming challenges, you can try getting the best fish. And there are plenty of strategies to gain money. The gameplay is pretty good. The fish sometimes have glitches, but honestly, it doesn’t bother me too much. I don’t like the fact that you get ads while fishing. This is probably the only thing that annoys me. Overall though it’s a good game.

It is pretty good. Most of the bad reviews mention to many adds, but since it doesn’t use WiFi you could just turn it off and fix the problem. They also mention that it takes to long to make money, but that is kind of the point. You have to work for it. If you want everything handed to you go play an .io game. Also one of the reviews said it was glitchy. I have seen nothing of the sort, and my phone is not the greatest either. Unless he is playing on a potato.

I have been playing this game for several months. It is relaxing, but also very frustrating. Way to many ads for one thing. Also once your all capped out there is not much more to do. I caught all the fish in the summon area. Now I’m trying to catch the fish in the catalog. Can you believe I have to wait till Halloween and Christmas. Also there are three fish that I don’t think exist. Sorry I will keep the game but lm going to move on to some other games until you can get some more updates or something.

I like the game and all but the mechanics to catching fish are just to annoying to deal with. For some reason if you have a lure or bait and on your reel you lose it after the cast no matter what. It doesn’t make sense and is the worst part of the game for me because it costs so much to get lures that ignore smaller fish and even if you don’t catch a big fish on that cast, you’re lure is gone. Your lure shouldn’t be gone even if you do catch a fish so I don’t get it. The fish and locations are very cool and and make the game a lot better than it should be but overall it’s very mediocre to say the least

You Strat of whit a great intro as I was waiting for the peace apparently it said peaceful at the front of FishingandLife Store I continued playing and it was not peaceful the ads don’t pop up much buy I hate that the fact that the fish east your bait and it’s not enough the bait is gone and I have to buy another one he fish are to crowded and I don’t like that also hate that when you get a new boat that was expensive you only go 2inches farther I don’t recommend this game cause it’s not peaceful but I do recommend it for the developers cause they made it and they probably like it
