Shady developer had my review taken down

I merely pointed out that this developer has a history of abandoning his paid apps. He released a previous version of this app almost a decade ago that he gradually stopped updating without any heads-up to his paying customers. I used to find his app indispensable but this new incarnation doesn’t measure up against all the superior television-tracking apps that have sprung up in the interim.
A lot of the favorable reviews here also happen to be the developer’s friends.

Why can’t I just pay you a few dollars for this one time? These devs think we should rent every single app on our devices. I have hundreds of apps, that would be ridiculous. It’s a nice looking app but not worth a monthly cost. Why would anyone pay monthly for this or any tv show tracker??
Still unreliable

Every so often I try out this app again, and each time there’s a major bug or glitch (syncing isn’t accurate, wish list freezes/causes app to crash, etc), and so every time I end up giving up on it after a day or two. The design is nice but it still doesn’t work reliably.
