Not practicle

I have a degree in music. I've also worked a little in tech. What is so difficult in creating sensible music notation software that isn't based on musicological terms?

Miserable functionality on Mac

I use digitalScorereadsheetmusic primarily on my iPad. Despite some irritations, most of them unintuitive things you can’t turn off, it works well. The Mac version is a trainwreck - especially the partifi interface, which is about the only reason to use it on a Mac. I’ve sent emails along for tech support a few times, never receiving even a cursory acknowledgment of the note. Once my subscription is up, I’ll be going with ForScore - at least they reply to email, and update functionality meaningfully.

Awful

Basic symbols a pro subscription required、
Can not automatically generate midi from score
Face gesture also subscription required,
Your features I can cover by other cheaper one time purchased apps and even do better than yours.

Not compatible with page turning device

I previously would have given this four stars as it is incredibly hard to find user instructions. But I now find that turning pages by facial gestures is difficult for me. I have a disorder that results in several facial tics. Adjusting the sensitivity of the software and the duration of the gesture has not worked. Now I find that there is no capability to use a Bluetooth page turning device. I will now have to get another app and transfer my music to it.

Good design, awful execution

Spending an hour editing and arranging pages to have it crash every time makes me regret this purchase.

Good product but no cust. Service?

I have a basic question that’s not covered in their help pages. It is impossible to find a way to contact someone at the company. Their website says “you’re welcome to email us” and then doesn’t t give an email address anywhere.
I just bought the premium app and I’m getting a bad impression seeing how this company is avoiding contact.

Unable to view scores

I am unable to view or download scores. I keep getting an error message that the server is down. This has happened for weeks and I sent an email to the support team without a response. I have the Pro version of digitalScorereadsheetmusic. Maybe creating a review will help them respond. I have used digitalScorereadsheetmusic for many months and would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for this recent problem.

Unable to view Scores

Every time I try looking up or downloading scores from others an error message pops up saying the servers are down and that there’s no information about the work on the server

Luke Warm

It’s impossible to go just one page forward and one page backward. It keeps cycling through the entire set of pages. It becomes rather frustrating. Also when trying to view the controls or not, it ends up turning the page when I just want to turn the pen off and on, then see previous complaint. It’s better than some of the other apps I’ve tried, but I’m going to keep looking.

Cannot play scanned music

I scanned some music with cello & piano parts. digitalScorereadsheetmusic (digitalScore) can only display the photo of the score. It cannot play the scanned score.

A lot of cool features but quirky

Their customer service is slow to respond and struggles to help. It’s a shame because the software is actually wicked cool. I love that I can turn the pages just by winking my eye. I tried a couple of others and I think for $20 this is a good value for sheet music. I play alto sax in a couple of bands.

Very good but have to pay

I’ve been using digitalScorereadsheetmusic for quite a while, and I have to say I’m very impressed. I thought that this was some lousy app but it isn’t. Although you have to do certain things in order to even get your music on there, it’s worth it for the most part. When you want to annotate or do some of the other features you have to pay. Although I didn’t mind it at first, it became very tiresome to have to go to extreme lengths just to write fingerings or write in things on my music.

It’s just as good as iClassicscores.

I thought I had to do it all again. I use CamScanner to take pictures of the music in old my hard copy library.

I could be carrying 50 books ... now just iPad Pro

I love the winking eye page turn.

Good app for music but no instructions

I uploaded a score from the internet. Having it there is great but there is neither an instruction link nor a help button. I am using iPad.

Great app

Takes a little time getting used to page turning with gestures, but, once you get it is wonderful. Stick out your tongue if you’re not singing. LOL

PDF export function not working

Title. This really hampers my ability to send music and work with other musicians.

Awesome

Truly useful with amazing features like the orchestral sync mode! Just buy it; you will not regret!

Nice

Great app for musicians! 👍👍

Great job!

I’m a professional musician and I’ve been using other apps since many time ago. digitalScorereadsheetmusic has all I need, but the tool to mark difficult parts of a score to practice them later and export to a single pdf file just blowed my mind! I also love the way I can manage the scores. Simply amazing!

The score app I needed!

I wanted to try out starting to digitize my music. I was recommended to forscore, but when I saw the big price I looked elsewhere. digitalScorereadsheetmusic has been absolutely amazing and I love I can try it without spending $20 without knowing what I am getting into! Only thing I wish was different was the color of digitalScorereadsheetmusic . It is quite bright and I wish I could choose a sort of dark mode so that the screen wasn’t pure white.
