Phonty - Perfect Photo Editor Reviews

I’ve never deleted an app faster in my life, I saw Phonty on tik tok from it saying “turn your photos into a gta San Andreas charter” so I decided to try it out, so I downloaded it and already when you first open Phonty you have to be extremely careful where you click because if you accidentally click on “upgrade to premium” then your stuck on a screen that says “continue” or “7 day free trial” and there’s no way of getting out of this unless you restart Phonty there’s no x in the corner, not even an x that pops up after sitting on that screen for a while, this all happens so fast that “tap here to confirm purchase” or “face scan” already pops up just from a few miss clicks, luckily I have no money on my account but I can only imagine someone accidentally purchasing premium because of a couple miss clicks, so I reset Phonty and I was finally able to try to get started on something, so it says access photos I’ve downloaded tons of apps like this so this was nothing new but before I could click on a photo I was immediately stopped by an ad on my screen, they really had to put an ad where your going to most likely be touching the screen as if they want you to accidentally click on on the ad, so at that point they tried to steal my money back to back times within less then 30 seconds so that was already enough for me, I deleted Phonty and looked at some previews of Phonty and you can’t do what the tik tok add was advertising it for

I saw this cool ad that you could “cartoonize” a specific part of the picture I selected, the add had amazing graphic, it drew my attention so I downloaded Phonty . After I had to make a purchase to use Phonty , which i guess they have a 7 day free trial so I thought it would be okay because I had access to all their features. I was upset it did not let me just use it before getting the 7 day free trial. Once I got to Phonty it disappointed me, horrible effects, and the one thing that drew me to use Phonty I was not able to use it. I verified all the features and it was not available. I am sorry but if you are advertising an app and want an in app purchase at least include the item you are actually advertising. Super dissatisfied and disappointed. Waste of my time.

No I don’t want “unlimited access to all content” so give me the limited access? Where is it? Do I HAVE to pay to use Phonty? Why not say that it’s subscription-only? I hate this common trend of having to subscribe to use basic apps you know that there are a ton of free apps that do better than this? The problem for them is that they don’t advertise much and apps like this for example lie in their ads. And why should I even pay? It isn’t a service so why subscribe? Do you manually operate every single thing people do? No. At least make it a one-time buy not a subscription because that’s absurd.

Horrible horrible app. First of all i saw it on Instagram and it showed it making your photos into charactures, it doesn’t! So then i figured while i had the free trial offer I’d edit some photos anyway. While it has some great tools in theory they are awful in application. Scissor and eraser for instance didn’t do what they are supposed to at all! Making my selfies look like a college of trash clippings. So in closing i deleted Phonty and canceled the subscription. There’s plenty of other photo editor app on here that work the way they are supposed too and are advised so I’ll stick to those.

I’ve used a lot of apps and this one makes it a breeze to make picture collage and edit pictures

I have sent a message 3 weeks ago and a reminder today with zero response. Is this how you will treat your subscribers. Your app by far is 4 out of 10 ( 10 being highest). Peachy, FaceApp, Facelab , Meitu, beauty plus etc are much better and reasonably priced. Your pricing is ridiculous $2.50/week??? Where most of the best app mentioned above max charge $30 / year. You are around $130. Are you kidding me? What wrong with you to try to make money during covid when people have lost jobs and suffering.

It’s half of what they show actually worked or actually would work would be a very promising and for filling application but most either doesn’t work at all or just shows the option to choose that application of editing on your photo or image to never even work or show just the option to choose but never applies maybe still developing or may be wishful thinking either way doesn’t deliver on was promised

On Facebook they advertised the feature to turn pictures into emojis, which seemed to be a blatant lie, not to mention false advertising. They request nearly $7 a week, which is far more than I would pay for any app, not to mention for an app like this one that does everything my phone does. The only people who may need Phonty are professional editors, but I would hope they have professional software. All in all, 1 star is far too good for this useless app😃

Downloaded because i saw the Grand theft auto character effect but after downloading almost forces you to do the free try out and not only that after searching for the effect and reading the reviews i realized theres no such thing. Only thing good are the filters but even thats not worth because every other second an advertisement comes up

I saw a advertisement on snapchat saying you can crop people out for “FREE” so i downloaded Phonty and right away I was not allowed to continue Phonty without paying, mind you i hadn’t even been on Phonty for 5 seconds and there isn’t even a back button to skip paying !! This is a scam and all the people that gave this 5 stars are bots!!!

DO NOT FALL FOR THE BULL! Chances are if you saw Phonty through an add on social media offering something like “3D photos” or “photos to cartoons”, it’s an absolute lie. They’ll lock you out so you don’t know that though, UNLESS you pay for a subscription, which is $7.99 A WEEK. Go get Photoshop instead, it’s $10, and don’t fall for this hot garbage... devs, you should be ashamed of yourselves...

I don’t like Phonty why should I allowed you to track for other ads & or companies I disapprove of. Fix this NOW!!! We should be able to choose if we want y’all to track or data or whatever it is you’re tracking!

Worst photo app I’ve seen. Doesn’t do what it advertises it does. Controls and filters are pretty lame and.... excuse me!? 20 bucks a MONTH!? Really guys?.... reeeeeallyyyy?.... come on now. Make something cool and I’ll consider 20 bucks a year by you. Maybe... but look on the bright side, there’s always going back to the drawing board and developing an app people might actually want.

I seriously am so disappointed in Phonty. I saw an ad that says “cartoonist your character” but I have to pay. And when I did pay it didn’t give me that option and it has false advertisement whatsoever

Hello to whomever this concerns, if your a customer don't bother installing, creator? Use photoshop or anything but this, and if you own Phonty you are taking a perfectly good name and ruining it. If your app was good id pay $10 but it isn't. Im sorry but this “app” is just a big advertising thing for nothing. It’s clunky and crashes. IT ISNT EVEN A GAME how does it crash???

Downloaded Phonty because it was advertising that you could transform your pictures into a Simpson animated character which it is a lie!!! The functionality is not available in Phonty at all. Shame on you!! I wish I could give zero stars.

Phonty does not allow you to make yourself into a gta character like it advertises. Extremely pricy for the subscription. You can literally download something else for free that will give you the same effects as this.

I bought this game because I wanted to use the thing where you make yourself look animated but I couldn’t find it. I also bought it to erase objects I didn’t want from pictures and it just blurred it out even though on the ad it didn’t just blur it out.

What their ads say Phonty does is false. Also, they want you to pay $5.99 PER WEEK for a subscription for premium features that are not worth paying $5.99 A YEAR for. Avoid Phonty and avoid ANY app made by this scammy app developer. Apple should not allow these kinds of devs in Phonty Store.

C’mon Apple. Really? They are promising what they just can’t deliver, they have been receiving several complaints for fake advertisement and you still allow them to keep selling this ???

Downloaded today, there is no magic in this eraser. To hard to use and crashed twice. Deleted!!

Nothing on Phonty is helpful for editing, at ALL. The advertisements make it look efficient for editing photos but it’s garbage...I can do better editing on my Nintendo DS

I can’t figure out how to use this? I’m so frustrated is think I’ll just delete Phonty . Hopefully I won’t be charged for this. I hate it.
