PlayMetrics tajes forever to open and sometimes i have to restart it 3-4 times before it fully opens. I’m not the only one who has this issue on our team. It is NOT user friendly at all! I am blind and PlayMetrics doesn’t allow you to change print size or colors! In order to read. Hats i have to screenshot and read then come back to reply. I have used several other sports apps and this is by far the worst!!

It’s a gamble if it opens- constantly says I have 23
messages- I don’t! Will try over and over to open- and when it’s your ONLY form of contact or information for your team-practice-games-changes-weather-covid protocol- contact with coach- team- administration- literally CENTER OF EVERYTHING- and it fails to open- for whatever reason?!? And best you can be told is reinstall- been there done that- still 23 phantom
messages if it opens- 80% of the time-white screen - swipe out-Close completely out- go back try again and again and again- 5-6 times-then I give up and wait till later hoping!
Oh and the FONT SIZE- IS RIDICULOUSLY SMALL WITHOUT ANY WAY TO ENLARGE! So if you can open it and get your messages- you struggle to read it on your phone!

PlayMetrics freezes up, can’t open the messages in message center, once you open map link for fields you have no way to go back into app without closing it and then reopening and start over!!! Team Snap much better, so much more user friendly in all aspects!!! As others have said forced to use but only have 2 seasons left so good luck and hope whoever designed reaches out to the Team Snap developers to come help them!

No improvement. Navigation through PlayMetrics is horrible. The schedule component requires toggling between different views to see an overall game & practice schedule.
Like others, I have noticed PlayMetrics opens only 50-75% of the time on the first attempt. Otherwise you have to close out & reopen. God forbid if your kid is on 2 teams and you have to learn how to toggle between that.
This is the absolute worst app development one may ever have to experience.

Forces users to install Google maps or Waze. With multiple teams, the calendar is hard to find what you need because each event takes up the entire screen. Controls tend to be counterintuitive like finding the team roster.

Cannot type a message on iphone11 without text box being covered by keyboard. I have notifications turned on and they are not appearing for some reason. Otherwise app seems pretty nice.

Messages and chat are basically separate apps inside PlayMetrics . Most of it appears to be webviews loading in an app shell. The user experience and navigation is all weird, so don’t expect a native app that’s easy to use.

Team Snap had a few problems as well, but this unfortunately is much worse. It’s apparent they’re trying to add requested features without any thought to how it affects the overall experience. The whole mobile app needs a redesign.

Have had constant problems with PlayMetrics since my son’s team started using it because it allowed payment options in PlayMetrics . TeamSnap is much more intuitive and easy to use.

Just today, this app has sent me 5 notices that my son’s game is canceled (it isn’t) and no one seems to know why this is happening or how to stop it.

The interface is convoluted, especially if you have more than one team or child in the system and requires lots of navigation to find the screen you are looking for.

The live game updates are less than intuitive, slow to update and hard to find.

PlayMetrics needs a lot of work to get rid of issues and make it user friendly.

PlayMetrics only opens half the time. Message “having trouble establishing a connection.” Not convenient when your traveling and need game details. Other parents have the same issue

Our soccer league started using PlayMetrics this year. It is so problematic and unreliable to use. Most notably, when you get a notification that there’s an update or a game change or some other new information and you tap on the notification, very consistently PlayMetrics times out and cannot connect to the servers. It’s almost as if a new notification crashes the servers.I have learned the hard way not to click on a notification and to wait at least one hour for the servers to catch up. I would say that 10 out of 10 times whenever a new notification comes out, you cannot login nor see the new information.

I give PlayMetrics 3 stars because the graphics are really poor. Especially for people like me who cannot read small text without glasses, the text is very difficult to read. There is a ton of empty spaces that would have allowed larger text. Larger text could be a huge improvement.

This is a great app compared to other team apps I’ve used. It is easy to access any information I need communicate with effectively.

Our club recently transitioned to this app. I really like that I can see both my kid’s schedule in a single interface. Communication from the club has been much better through PlayMetrics as well.

I am enjoying having an app to access all the information pertaining to my son’s soccer program this year! It is very easy to use and provides quick updates on practices.

this app has been a huge asset for my club especially during COVID. I can easily communicate with my club members and staff, plus the calendars update as soon as I make changes to events or fields. Can’t imagine not using this. As a director, my job is stressful enough as is but this app has made it easier. Used to use about 7 different tools to help run my club and now we solely use this app

We used to use 9 different softwares to piece together what’s needed to run our club and now we just use this app. I can change field plans and instantly communicate that to all players and parents affected, create my season plans, and manage player and coach profiles from one spot. This is needed in the industry, never looking back.

PlayMetrics is quite possibly the absolute worst sports team app out there. We are being FORCED to use PlayMetrics by Tennessee Soccer Club. PlayMetrics doesn’t come close to Team Snap. It is not user friendly at all. No message board ability. PlayMetrics is a complete failure of an attempt to replace Team Snap. If I could give it a -5 rating, I would!

PlayMetrics is horrible. Like so many parents, we are forced to use PlayMetrics. I cannot access my kid’s soccer schedules because it doesn’t work. When I open PlayMetrics , I get a white screen. That’s it a white screen. I have deleted PlayMetrics and reinstalled PlayMetrics . I have restarted my phone. The designers of PlayMetrics should be embarrassed.

This ap could be something great if they would fix the current issues before adding new things to it. Most times we can not even get the ap to open. Most of the team gets a white screen and that’s it. It makes it difficult to check something quick or pull up information.

Recently started using PlayMetrics on my iphoneX for my dtr’s soccer team. Almost daily, I go to get on it, and it only shows a blank white screen with no way to log in again. I have to find the original email and resign in EVERY TIME. I’ve turned my phone off, deleted and redownloaded PlayMetrics again plus tried to troubleshoot it online. I wouldn’t have any complaints if I could actually see it when I click on it.

1. PlayMetrics only opens 50% of time, it’s usually a blank white screen that either never loads or takes forever. It’s an iPhone.
2. There is no chat function which is critical when at a tournament. It’s one of the features we miss the most about TeamSnap.
3. Everything PlayMetrics sends out, either a notification or email, is sent over and over again.
4. You have to drill into the menu to find anything.
5. Our team managers says it deletes games or fails to notify parents when a game has been added.
6. Honestly there’s a reason everyone loves TeamSnap...it’s exactly that, a snap to use and very intuitive. It’s almost like the developers know how managers/parents/coaches use PlayMetrics on a daily basis.

Our soccer club decided to make everyone use it as opposed to having a few teams test it and report back. It’s been a nightmare for our team managers and parents. Our team might go rogue and start using TeamSnap again.

No chat feature
The hideous white screen of death (when I need it the most)
Navigation is awful
Emails open on a different screen

The best you could hope for is something like teamsnap...which already exists! Hating that our club is forcing us to use this.

I think PM just updated the site and app. It is not working. I can’t click on anything nor see the two teams I’m on. Please fix it.

this app has made my life a lot easier with less stress. I've used TeamSnap before and it was the worst. Half the time I wouldn't receive my messages. Which is pretty much the only reason why the team is using it.
I know my sons club uses it for "operations" too but as a parent I'm happy there's an app that I can rely on and not have ads pop up every time.

I’ve been using this as a Team Manager for U11 Girls, we switched from TeamSnap. It took a while to get used to and there was a few issues before PlayMetrics fixes but since then it’s worked really well and realize now it’s much more useful. Very easy to communicate with everyone on the team and making changes to events is way more straight forward. Plus we don’t get tons of notifications and ads popping up. All the extra stuff like seeing what my daughters coach has planned for practice and getting her player evaluation through PlayMetrics is really nice to have as a parent.
