I read a number of reviews on cellular trail cams and the browning defender always is at the top of the list. I bought the Defender Ridgeline. The problem is, they don’t tell you The strikeforce app is junk. It took a good two hours to clunk through this disgusting app till I finally got things set up. However, I’m still not getting notifications to my phone when the camera uploads. I have all the settings right. Immediate upload thumbnail and notifications turned on my phone. But the pictures come in on a very long delay and then there’s no notification. I have to go in and open StrikeForceWireless and manually look at the pictures. I was told this was supposed to automatically send me images to my phone when the camera is triggered but that’s just not true. At least if it does you have no way of knowing. I don’t know who did the review on these cameras but they definitely were not clumping the camera and StrikeForceWireless in as a whole. I feel like I just went back 10 years in technology with this. You would be better off going and buying a Ring camera and setting up a wireless network modem out in the woods. In fact, that’s what I’m going to do. This thing is going back to Cabala’s. My tiny battery powered ring cameras work ten times better than this thing. And they’re only $99.

I’ve never left an online review before. But I bought a $200 browning defender scout pro and a $15/month wireless plan. The camera says there’s a card error, an LTE error, and StrikeForceWireless will not connect to my phone or laptop. I called customer service but the voice recording at 2:00 on a Saturday (when most hunters will be setting up cameras) says “sorry we’re closed” on repeat. Brutal mannnn send helppppp man.

It was sending pics now the last 3 days nothing. It hasn’t even done the daily syncs. Sometimes it would show I had 36 new pics then open StrikeForceWireless up and it would only have about 6. Hope they get it figured out.

I paid over $200 for my Browning Strikeforce camera and have Moultrie XV6000 cameras that were half the price that work flawlessly on the same property with the same cell provider. Constantly having issues with the Strikeforce app giving me errors related to fetching the camera, internal server errors, unable to login, the list goes on and on. Customer support is poor, only available 9-5 (you know, when animals are not active to verify proper operation), no real solutions except “we’re aware of it, and working on it. Please wait and see if it improves.”. I’ve been waiting almost a month now, still, nothing has improved. Don’t waste your money- you may think you’re buying a Browning product with quality and service you expect, but you’re only buying the brand name premium with a Promethius Group problem. Read the reviews, I’m not the only one.

I used to have this camera but it doesn’t work at all if you don’t have good service at least not with my old one and with at&t but I called the people that own it and told them and I returned the camera and unsubscribed from them but they’re still taking money from my card still!
by Jhester222
Submitted several HD requests for pictures and videos did not receive the first one back. Picture quality is laughing joke between my buddies and me. The syncing schedule does not seem to work correctly. This is the worst app by far I’ve ever used! Strike Force seriously has a lot to work on. I wish I could get my $50 back! Do not waste your money on StrikeForceWireless!

I saw a lot of other bad reviews and dismissed them, but they're all true. App could not scan the cameras to activate them. Very unintuitive menus and half of them don't work, and the web interface is not much better. I love my Browning non-wireless cameras, but returned the wireless models I just purhcased becuase the apop is so bad.

I received a Browning Defender wireless for Christmas. The camera works well, uploads pictures, captures game. The issue lies in the Strikeforce app. The pictures presented on the web terribly are poor quality called “thumbnails.” 25 thumbnails are displayed at a time with no “select all” button to delete them. Even when thumbnails are deleted the deleted pictures still count against the monthly quota. There is an option to request “HIgh Definition “ or HD versions of the “thumbnails”, but I have yet to receive one of the HD thumbnail I have requested. The camera is expensive, the strike force plan is expensive, and well I feel my family was duped in the making the purchase.

I’ve had these cameras and StrikeForceWireless for about a year now - honestly, when I really need them, StrikeForceWireless is absolutely awful. I cannot download videos when I need them, I try to delete ones I don’t need and then they end up not deleting, showing the video card is 99% full all the time. This obviously can’t be true after I delete a ton of content…and now has missed a really important incident on my property altogether so I have no video proof footage! Not happy I’ve spent this much with them to only discover this, now very major, fail!

App not sending notifications when there’s new photos. Would be great if you didn’t have to type email and password every time you log in....

When StrikeForceWireless is working it works good but there’s times when StrikeForceWireless does sync with the camera and it will say internal server error, the signal meter nor the as memory meter work. PLEASE FIX THESE PROBLEMS!

App has a few downsides. There is no “select all” to delete photos. You have to touch each photo individually to delete. Only seem to get photos in the middle of the day and middle of the night. No “real time” transmission.

So right out of the gates the QR reader isn’t working. I have an iPhone12 and I get a camera screen but no box… not a good start.
Updating a week later and what a mess StrikeForceWireless is. If you’re setting up your subscription via StrikeForceWireless good luck, it has fields needed foe payment but you can’t tell what it’s asking for.
Added 2 additional cameras today and StrikeForceWireless just crashes, and it’s not sending the pics.
This is really frustrating for $600 worth of cameras and $20 a month.

Constantly has errors and won’t load pictures and even shows I have no cameras linked
by Xavier71
Camera worked great for the first three weeks. Now there seems to be an error in StrikeForceWireless . When I click on a thumbnail that’s tagged from the last few days it sends me back to an image on 10/22. Please fix this bug! Cell cam is pretty much useless now until I can get back to take the SD card out

App stopped sending notifications to my phone. Pictures are good, but have to open app to know if anything is new.
by CIB4
App just recently started selecting its own HD images. I only get a certain amount of HD images and it is picking ones I don’t want on it’s own?
Also, as of yesterday it is showing the wrong dates for the images. The camera was taking pictures on 12/20 and the title block was 12/19.

We have several cameras on the property monitoring wildlife and barns when we’re gone. 1 feature desperately needed is the ability to stop Photos/Videos when we’re there.
by M1keman85
Have had the Browning Cam and app for about 2 months. Worked great up until last week. Peak hunting season in my area. Have been getting notifications letting me know if it’s worth sitting each day. Woke up at my usual time and I had no notifications.....well, obviously there wasn’t any deer movement overnight so I dosed back off to sleep. WRONG!!!! Opened app later and it finally showed the biggest buck so far was at the stand at daylight but I was never notified. Just my luck.... decent camera and good app let me down the one day I didn’t need it to fail lol. Let’s get this bug fixed Prometheus Group!!!!!! 4 outta 5*

Like all the features. Can change settings. Doesn’t take effect right away but that’s ok. Would suggest tone able send command to take a picture whenever. Just to make sure camera working or check what the weather is like out there. Manual picture snap. Otherwise works great.

Can’t even log into StrikeForceWireless says my credentials are wrong.

Can’t play videos, says card is full. After deleting photos... they come back.

Stay away. Buy a MoultrieMobile camera. This camera is in the same area with my MoultrieMobiles and they work perfect, not this one. No signal, won’t send photos. Customer service ? Nope.
by Wilsoncraft
Not convinced that signal strength reported by StrikeForceWireless is correct.
Meter on app shows 1 bar, camera shows -106db.
SD card usage always shows 0% on StrikeForceWireless which I know is not true. Web version of tool shows 1%. Network signal strength on web version does match StrikeForceWireless though.
Try to setup an additional camera sync time, but the time selector is invisible. Move your thumb up and down and you can hear clicks like you are moving selector wheels, but nothing be a plain white box is shown.
Daylight saving time not taken into account it seems. Using auto time zone feature, but time is off by one hours.
Ability to integrate login with faceID would be nice.
Ability to trigger a photo or video remotely would be nice too.
Using StrikeForceWireless with the AT&T version of the new Defender

Customer service lies about StrikeForceWireless being back up and running again. Worthless

Revising my initial review. After first purchasing two new Browning pro scout cameras and using the StrikeForce app, I experienced a lot of problematic issues during testing and throughout the first month and a half of using them. It was to the point that I was going to return them because their servers were periodically crashing and StrikeForceWireless seemed very unstable. To Browning’s credit their support staff has been incredible in answering any questions I had and confirming the problems. Super friendly and very responsive support. Their support is what kept me as a customer throughout my frustration. Now that the latest app version has been released I have been having no further problems and the cameras are consistently sending me pictures as i need them. Purchasing these cameras have been a game changer and recently led me to harvesting the buck of a lifetime. Thank you to the support staff working to improve this product / fixing the issues.

Purchased 3 scout pros. Live way out in the woods in WV. Not a single problem. They work flawless and StrikeForceWireless is doing the same. Very easy to setup and start monitoring..
**** One request: the ability to trigger a photo or a video on-demand. I’d like to be able to see what’s going on when I want.
This application is horrible the wireless function doesn't work. There isn't any support I do not recomend buying this product

This is the worse App EVER!!!! This is the 4 th week in a row with serious issues. My next complaint is headed to the buyer at Bass Pro. Don’t sell this camera because the App doesn’t work. #whereismyrefund
Cameras are working fine(3) but none of them are sending the little red icon with # of photos on App.They used to and ive been all through the settings they are ON??? any ideas??
