AURA - Smart Weather for Drone Reviews

I need the ability to drop a pin on the map in “time travel”. Not every place I fly has an address. Sometimes I just know where the location is on the map and don’t have the address. It would be much less time consuming just to be able to drop a pin instead of tying to I’d an address nearby, especially if my flight location is more than a hundred miles from my current location.

Otherwise, great app.

It constantly says that it is not a good time to fly. My other apps are more reliable and prove AURA wrong every time. I paid for the subscription to AURA thinking that maybe it would be more reliable but it’s not any better. If they don’t get it right soon then I will definitely unsubscribe to it. Constantly says you are in a no fly zone no matter where you are. I travel all the states and AURA always says no fly zone. Fix it or take AURA off the market.

I would say that AURA is pretty spot on when it comes to planning a flight. Iv used it 3 times now and it seems to be pretty spot on most of the time. The only downside I see is having to pay money for LIVE updates, other than that its a GREAT app to use. I like how much information is packed into it like the mapping that shows you Airports and Hospitals and such all in one app.

As I posted my previous review, the developer emailed me with a response to my question - it was matter of bad timing on my part. I take it all back.

Just downloaded and subscribed....where is the satellite information??? Update: App is continually saying that a storm is nearby when there is not a storm in my entire state? The data provided in AURA is suspect to say the least. I’ve attempted to contact the developer without any response. If you’re going to sell a product ensure that it’s working and provide timely customer service. I have cancelled my subscription and I request a refund.

AURA would be awesome if it actually worked. The skies were clear, and AURA said there was a storm 0 miles from me with a high chance of precipitation. It was raining, and AURA said there was a storm 8 miles from me with a 0 percent chance of precipitation. Upon starting AURA , I have to refresh at least three times, because it gets my location wrong.

I just discovered AURA shows feels-like temp or wind chill index (-3F) rather than actual (10F). Why?

Also, I subscribe, yet AURA frequently asks me if I want to subscribe and doesn’t give me access to the subscription features without an app-force-restart.

I like the idea, but sadly, AURA appears to be riddled with bugs and no way to contact support, only showing a guided walkthrough of AURA when clicking on Help.

With updates to AURA appearing very few and far-between, and no support link, I’m thinking AURA could be/is abandonware.

I like AURA but not for an annual subscription. They do update it to fix the issues (bugs).

UAV app blows you away.,.

This is a well thought out unique app. The data from AURA is right on the Target so to speak. If you crash your Drone don’t blame AURA just Kidding! I hope you Download AURA I don’t feel you will be disappointed! ( Really) Thanks I have to go find my Drone Forgot my Glasses with my luck it’s in a Tree that I cannot claim!
