Amazing capabilities on the Apple Watchh

I continue to be impressed at the capabilities of Will’s apps on the Apple Watch. this app is no exception. I never thought it would be useful to have Wikipedia on my watch, but MiniWiki changed my mind. It’s very easy to lookup articles and bookmark or download for future reference. What’s really cool though is the Nearby feature that finds articles for things near your current location. This is a super feature for when I travel. Will continues to add to each of his other apps, so I can’t wait to see what he brings to this app next.

Can’t get past tutorial

Developer responded: Looks like the iPhone app has no functionality. It’s just there to provide MiniWiki to the watch. They should update the iPhone portion to alert you to this instead of putting you in a tutorial that you cannot end.

MiniWiki is completely unusable. Install MiniWiki and once you get to the end of the tutorial, it shows the other apps by this developer. There’s no way to proceed in to MiniWiki . You’re stuck on that screen. It says press and hold to open but does nothing.

Absolutely Tremendous

this app is probably the fastest loading Apple Watch App I have installed. It’s incredibly streamlined and gets you the information you’re looking for.

The nearby feature is amazing and can really come in handy when visiting a new location, or just learning something cool about the surrounding area where you live.

Absolutely love it! First 5 star review I have posted on any Apple Watch app! Amazing job.

Another Great Apple Watch app that actually does something

There aren’t many great apps for the Apple Watch, but this app is a amazing app that does a whole lot on the Apple Watch, it works and fits the screen size of my series 4 perfectly. Another great app from a Developer who continues to roll out quality apps for the Apple Watch. Great Work. Keep it up.

It would be nice if the tips from other apps (nano) could be used for pro.

It would be nice if the tips from other apps (nano) could be used for pro if possible. I bought pro for your reddit client and then tipped. Will makes great apps!
Edit: Just bought pro after reading his website on why he prices apps the way he does.

I love it! Keep it up...

As a visually impaired person, I’m always looking for convenient and accessible apps. this app checks all the boxes for me... it’s convenient, as I don’t need to reach for my phone, and it success a bowl with voiceover, which is important to me as a visually impaired person. I highly recommend MiniWiki, along with its sister apps. Two thumbs up!

Best Wiki app for the Watch

Amazing app. Quickly loads and displays long articles, and the text is clear and easy to read. The Most Read feature makes it easy to see what's trending. The Pro features (downloads, bookmarks and handoff) are definitely worth the small purchase. Great addition to Chirp and Nano!

Absolutely amazing!

First of all, I think you did a great job on MiniWiki. It's been very helpful having Wikipedia on my wrist. The only thing it doesn't have is hyperlinks. A big part of Wikipedia is endlessly reading pages and clicking the hyperlinks. But, overall, it's a great app!

Beware!

MiniWiki makes you pay a “donation” to use it. This “donation” last for a period of time before reactivating forcing another “donation” to use it.
There is nothing in the description. Indicating a required subscription (donation) to use the application. This is misleading to individuals thinking if they “donate” they will have unlimited use of this application.
Furthermore, I don’t know how this doesn’t violate Apples policies entitling them to a percentage of in app purchases.
Smells like a Scam....Scam...Scam

AMAZING APP FOR WIKI!!!

I just downloaded MiniWiki and I have to say this developer is amazing with apps. This developer also has an app called Chirp for Twitter. Definitely worth checking out.

I use MiniWiki and Chirp on my Apple Watch and its definitely worth paying to have the extra features unlocked. This developer does a great job with his apps and supports them very well and deserves to have a monetary support for this kind of work with his apps.

Amazing. Good job.

I hope to see a FaceBook app soon from this developer.

Makes the Apple Watch worth it!

This along with nano and chirp are by far my favorite apps for the apple watch. They make the apple watch worth the money. Big thanks to Will Bishop for his continued dedication to improving the Apple Watch experience. 5 stars all the way.

Handy Way to Access Wikipedia

A cute and efficient way to use Wikipedia on your wrist! I especially like the “Nearby” search for quickly finding points of interest near your current location.

The developer does it once again!

The developer of Nano for Reddit and Chirp for Twitter continues to pump our amazing AppleWatch apps and this app is on par with the previous. Love the nearby feature and ability to bookmark and continue on my phone.

Great start

This is awesome. Easy to use. I’d love to see force touch on the articles to allow you to search, switch between sections, and get the quick facts from an article.

🤔

Confusing to load. There should be an intro screen that declares concisely that there is no usable interface on the iPhone, only the Watch.

Furthermore I paid for the extra features but they don’t work. I touch and hold an article and two options appear: “Bookmark” and “Download”. I tried both options on a few different articles yet my Bookmarks and Downloads show nothing.

Will has done it again!

Another great app by one of the most dedicated developers for the platform! Thank you for making my Apple Watch so much more useful!

A fresh way to read Wikipedia!

Thank you for this wonderful and imaginative app. You’ve completely reinvented the Apple Watch experience for me. The Siri article search works so well. It’s amazing!

By

Amazing!

This Apple Watch app works amazingly well! I’ve been using Chirp from the same author to check out Twitter on my Series 3, and both apps are sally quite useful.

By

Really good but

The only thing missing here is the links within the articles! Making all those connections and jumping around is a huge part of Wikipedia. But it’s a great app even without it.

Wikipedia on your Wrist

Great app for browsing and reading Wikipedia articles on your Apple Watch. Interface is easy to navigate, and looks great too. Highly recommend.
