App doesn’t connect

Bluetooth doesn’t work at all. Connected to the device for an hour and then won’t connect again. Thought I screwed up the install, bought a new fuse and even got the company to send me a replacement controller and nothing. Need better support. Should have just gotten the manually controlled lights

Needs Better Software Engineers

So with the RGB lighting there is nonway to set a default for the halo lights to come on a certain color or non flashing/flashing. Called Oracle and asked how to set the default because i left the house without my phone, could change the lights from strobe colorshifting to off or solid white. Got pulled over and a ticket… first ticket in 25 years of driving. Honestly have to say the lack of concern by the manufacturer is disappointing.

Unforgivable

Garbage app for spending $600+ on lighting from ORACLE Lighting. What a waste, thought they were an honest company until I had to interact with this terrible user interface. Hasn’t been updated in ages, literally threw customers under the bus. Currently facing a problem where ORACLEColorSHIFT won’t reconnect and can’t turn my lights OFF. Looks like I'm disconnecting them from my battery.

RGB rock light kit

ORACLEColorSHIFT is crap i can set my rock lights to the color i want and 15 mins later it switches to a different color. I change it back and in just a few second it decides to strobe instead its so annoying that ive ordered my own light in in the particular color i want to use when im on the highway as you can imagine how much trouble i could get into for strobing blue that i dont know is strobing

too costly to not work

when your product costs as much as these do and your company doesnt have an app that works properly that makes you a lousy company. drivers can get tickets for what this dumb app causes the lights to do when ORACLEColorSHIFT isnt even switched to the on position. then when you want them to work if you exit out of ORACLEColorSHIFT the lights dont stay on the option you choose. the word about these lights with lack of user control needs to be spread across all jeep forums before more people waste their money and oracle cashes in without supporting their products

Save your time and get an Oracle controller installed instead

I was told I would only need ORACLEColorSHIFT and could save the money using it instead of having to pay to have an Oracle controller installed. This application does not work. It makes no attempt to sync to your Bluetooth and you will find you are unable to control anything on your lighting. For around $100 you can get a Oracle controller put into the system and use a remote controller to make changes to you lighting system.

App Worked for a Day.

ORACLEColorSHIFT is absolutely useless. I had the lights installed in my Jeep and was able to connect without any issues for a few days. After about three days my fog lights started strobing. I would change to a solid color and it would hold until I turned the Jeep off. Once started again the lights continue strobing again. That happened for a few days then the strobe changed to a slow fade. Again changed the color and once the car starts again the fade comes back. I took my Jeep back to the installer and they checked everything and determined it was an issue with ORACLEColorSHIFT . They have me install an app named Happy Lighting. ORACLEColorSHIFT was able to connect to the Blue Tooth module and control the lights with no issues. Oracle don’t put out an app if you are not going to support it and if it does not support your products.

DO NOT TRY TO USE THIS APP!!

ORACLEColorSHIFT will connect to BC1 rock light module but it will not pair for you to be able to control the lights. I tried everything in the oracle troubleshooting section. I got this kit installed and from the moment the shop finished the install, there was randomly flashing rock lights with no way to control them or turn them off without disconnecting at the battery. Long story short, download an app called HAPPY LIGHTING, thanks to another app reviewer on here. ORACLEColorSHIFT worked immediately with no issues and I was able to connect and control the lights with actually more functionality than the oracle app.

Disappointed

ORACLEColorSHIFT is not easy to use, imo. You press an option and there is no indication that the option is acknowledged by ORACLEColorSHIFT , you have to look at the lights to see if they respond. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but the lights don’t respond at first press or ORACLEColorSHIFT isn’t communicating 100% of the time with the Bluetooth device. For example, I can’t seem to get the sound mode to work. I chose the option, but nothing happens, but there is no indication on ORACLEColorSHIFT that it even recognizes my sound mode choice. Troubleshooting to get the lights to respond to music hasn’t made a difference either.

ORACLEColorSHIFT is incomplete as well. I deleted and redownloaded ORACLEColorSHIFT to see if that fixed the bug issues, but I can’t even get the complete Guide in ORACLEColorSHIFT . A first few pages of how to use ORACLEColorSHIFT is available but there are obvious pages missing in the guide from the Sound Mode to the Strobe effect directions.

I love the lights and I’m happy with that aspect of the product but ORACLEColorSHIFT is garbage, imo. I wouldn’t recommend.😕

Great lights terrible app

Oracle really needs to update ORACLEColorSHIFT. For Bluetooth to work you have to be very close to the vehicle to connect. The color wheel is not accurate at all, and would be nice to know somehow that a light illuminates on ORACLEColorSHIFT when the lights are actually on or off. XK Glow has such a better app 😕

Works sometimes not happy

I’ve had my system on my JK for close to a year. Always updating my phone and ORACLEColorSHIFT . Have taken it back once to 4 wheels to access come to find out the circuit board was messed up in halo lights by oracle. Have a new circuit board but now have to run fog lights and the headlights at same time🤷🏽‍♀️. The system works when it wants to. Today I can’t find my headlights/fog lights. Only one showing up on device is my rock lights. I’m very unhappy with this system and with the service I receive for support by 4 wheel parts, Oracle for not being more helpful in addressing my issue. Paid too much money for foolishness.

Oracle Colorshift app

The oracle halo lights are an excellent product. Unfortunately the colorshift app used to control them is worthless. ORACLEColorSHIFT constantly has trouble connecting to the device which leaves you stuck with either the lights on or off depending how they were when it stopped working. One could maybe work around this if it wasn’t for a lack of features on ORACLEColorSHIFT such as a timer. Overall the oracle lights are great but go for a wired in controller if you want it to work when you want it to work.

Needs updated

Would be better if the interfaces didn’t overlap. I can’t switch the speed or intensity of the colors because it overlays with other functions on ORACLEColorSHIFT screen

Works, but…

No issues with it working, just I want to set the colors besides the seven default and the guide shows you can slide up and down the wheel, yet whereas I want Orange, its giving me like a pinkish color instead.

Ill rate it higher when they update and fix it so when I want Orange or different shade of yellow, I get it

Meh…

It works but leaves much to be desired considering it’s the only app option for these lights. It’d be nice to be able to rename the controllers (instead of their MAC addresses) within ORACLEColorSHIFT so I know what zone is being controlled without having to get out of my vehicle.

Good start just very buggy

Works well but it freezes up after a while and I have to restart phone wish it wasn’t as buggy or it would be perfect since I rely on ORACLEColorSHIFT please fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated

Oracle Multicolor LED & Halo Lighting

Have been using the Multi color Halo and LED since late June 2021. Overall pleased with it despite some quirky behavior. (1) the halo “white” is really more of a cyan color; but could be due to the multi color options where the color “white” is skewed? (2) the Fade capabilities and adjustable fade timing is a nice feature, but sometimes has a mind of its own; and definitely not something you want to use while driving due to different state laws (here in FL your not permitted to use the colors BLUE nor RED, and LEO’s frown on the use of anything else but WHITE)
(3) recently Apple released a new iOS version (14.7.1) on Sat. July 30, 3021 in which has caused a glitch with my Oracle halo lighting as ORACLEColorSHIFT has yet to be updated to work with the new iOS version as of this writing on Aug 2, 2021. It seems I am unable to make a halo color selection on ORACLEColorSHIFT ’s color palette as it’s stuck on only proving a single Fade color that flashes rapidly, and even then, unable to adjust the fade scale for a longer halo fade.
I can only hope that the Oracle Lighting developer’s can update their App to accommodate the latest iOS version update; and that this doesn’t become an ongoing issue with further delays. Having left this data software vertical in the healthcare space I am aware these things don’t happen overnight

Works, could use better features

ORACLEColorSHIFT does what it advertises but I wish you could change each halo separately or at least change each channel

Works for me.

I was very skeptical of ORACLEColorSHIFT as it has so many bad reviews but it works exactly how it is supposed to for me. The only bad thing about it is that you can not create custom color patterns. Meaning that you can’t decide the colors that you want it to cycle through or choose 2 specific colors to alternate. Other than that it works great for me.

Wrong app

If you are trying to use ORACLEColorSHIFT and it isn’t working chances are you need the magic led v2 app. It works 100% of the time. I read the instructions wrong when I bought my lights. This isn’t the right app.

Doesn’t work with newer iPhones for some reason

I’ve read everywhere that ORACLEColorSHIFT doesn’t work with any newer iPhone and I’m on the XS max! Considering how much you spend for the same Chinese leds (wifi controller) you might as well skip Oracle all the way around. They’re over priced and they don’t even update their app smh. I’m returning this $700 order back to you guys.... Today.
