Gaper is either a complete scam, or there are so many scammers that if it is real, you will never actually know for sure... very sad. It is a great concept! It definitely has a potential to fill the void for this type of dating, because if it was legit, we would all be in a place where we can find the age gap dates we are looking for. 1. You can’t talk to anyone without paying. The least expensive option is 1 month for $20. That isn’t even almost a good deal considering it looks like most everyone that is trying to talk to you are fake profiles, from a different state or country. Even if they’re real, they aren’t nearby. 2. No bio. You can post an “ad”, which is super creepy and odd.. 3. No info about yourself. If you don’t want to match with a smoker, doesn’t matter. There’s no way to know. If you are only into guys that are 4+ inches taller than you? Well, good luck, there’s no way to know until you start talking. 4. You receive notice that someone from another state wants to chat all the time while you’re on Gaper . But you can’t chat until you pay for premium. WHAT?!!?? It is definitely a scam! Don’t waste your time!

As noted in other reviews Gaper is overrun by scammers. I normally don’t write many reviews but Gaper should be removed. I would award it 0 stars if I could. I can only assume all the 5-star reviews are for an earlier version or that the scammers posted the reviews themselves.

Cons
• There’s too much anonymity, and so no way to build trust.
• Numbers are allowed in names so many accounts advertise phone numbers
• Can’t filter by distance to limit who sees your profile, so queue of Likes will be filled up with profiles outside your geographic area.
• Your list does not differentiate between matched Likes and unmatched Likes. You have to drill down to see if you matched or not.
• Rejecting a profile doesn’t remove it from the global queue. You have to explicitly block the profile which is clunky and time consuming.
• Profile “description” is some sort of internal social media post / craigslist ad.
• You have to pay to make filtering easier, i.e. only show verified profiles. And even then that’s not a guarantee to filter out scammers. And still doesn’t prevent them from filling your list of Likes.

Pros
• A niche concept for a dating app and a good idea, but implementation leaves a lot to be desired.
• The queue of profiles shows a thumbnail and name so you can eventually find them in the global queue. No need to pay to get a match.

Please, this application is pathetic. Once one side or the other shows interest, messaging should be allowed. Additionally, the algorithms are screwy. Without upgrading you cannot put in your city as a demographic. Ok, another way to get you to upgrade. But even the women in my state aren’t showing up. If odds were better that an actual date would happen using a dating site, any dating site, people might upgrade. But anyone with any experience with dating sites is well aware that out of a hundred introductions, 15 may respond once, 4-5 twice, and only 1-2 more than twice. Then of the one or two who respond more than twice, approximately 85% are ego trolls. I’d say one in 300 hundred actually make it to a first date. With odds like that, no dating app is worth even one red cent. Keep working this application this app. You aren’t even close yo your claims about this application!

So here’s the thing. There are a bunch of older men and some are legit and most are just trying to get your credit card or account information. They ask for your emails and passwords. They ask for your credit card and banking routing number. I have even caught a couple that were actually woman or someone in a different country. I report them. I block them. All of the sudden the next day I get kicked off and have to reverify my profile because supposedly I’m fake? I have been verified on Gaper at least four times now. I’m real and don’t show nudity or ask for money. While these men have pictures of their penis on Gaper , or they immediately ask for sex. They allow that kind of behavior on Gaper but because I report it I get kicked off. I email them asking why and I never get a response. Gaper is a huge sexist scam.

Title says it all. Either you come across profiles of people wanting a “sugar” relationship, or get messages from fake profiles offering sugar once you text their number/contact them outside Gaper . Gaper will also reset your distance settings so if you have a country/state set, then leave Gaper and come back, you have to reset that or else the profiles you’re shown could be anywhere. Finally, Gaper is pretty heavily biased and seems to really only cater to younger woman/older man, pretty much no support for older woman/younger man like I prefer. And this is made even worse as you can’t even see someone’s age on their profile (unless they write it in their bio). Overall a small user base of “real” profiles, and pretty much just being for younger women/older men and sugar daddies, Gaper really isn’t worth the time.

90% of the profiles on here are fake, the pics are there to get you to move to other apps like google hangouts, the women never want to really talk so you can hear her voice and won’t video chatt so you can see if they are real. They create elaborate stories (lies) to try and get you to send money, many are not even in the cities they claim to live in. I have been on half a dozen sites for dating and this is the worse by far, when it comes to fakes and scammers, the developers need a better way to screen people (women) to make sure they are real! Nothing wrong with the features or technical parts of Gaper , just lots and lots of fakes and scammers!! Use at your own risk!!

90 percent of the woman who “like” my profile are NOT Verified. One of their 1st questions to you is how old are you and where are you from? Both answered on your Profile Pic? Next question they all ask is what do you want from this relationship. And if it goes much farther they ask you to meet up in “hangouts” or just give you their number? When you ask them to verify their profile, they all come up with dumb excuses like I don’t know how Gaper works, I’m new here, etc. So I ask them to send me a selfie with today’s Date written on a paper and I get nothing but crickets? And of course all of them used broken English with poor subject/verb agreements. In 1 month I’ve only “chatted” with 3 “real” girls & 2 of them were prostitutes.
Oh and why do I have to upload a “picture” to have somewhere to write my profile?

this app is absolutely the best app I had ever used. As an online dating app, this app focus onolder dating and it really makes it. I was really doubted before downloading Gaper about the user's quality and what the developer said about Gaper . But this app really did not let me down. It had several different methods to pick users and protect our privacy to keep us away from scammers. Which impressed me most is that once (and the only time) I encountered with a scammer, and I reported it to the team, and they kicked him off with in 5 minutes! I mean I'm really amazed by how they handled this issue with such a short time. And after that, I believed there is really someone working behind the screen to protect us and improve the community. Absolutely best services I ever had! You should try it by yourself.

Gaper is great!!! (at least when I used it) Now that I have a current boyfriend, whom I met on this app, I have no need for Gaper anymore. Everyone I talked to/went out with when I was on it, though, was great and seemed to want something genuine. I think by meeting on an app meant for actual dating, I was able to find someone else who also was looking for something more than just a hookup. I deleted this app about a month ago, but I decided to re-download it just so I could write this positive review. I really hope things continue going well with my current boyfriend, but if not, I will definitely be back on here. 😃

I downloaded it and read the reviews from other users carefully. It gives me a big surprise after I joined it. The design is very beautiful and keeps me warm. Secondly, all the features are very simple and easy to use. I used the quick match module and it returned me with some beautiful girls who live not far away from me. All the features works smoothly as promised. Thirdly, the customer service is very positive and professional. Every time, I got prompt reply in 24 hours. I became a premium member and now I have found my match. It is really an amazing app that you will not regret downloading!

The prompts and short space for a profile do a good job of keeping things light, and showing which people have the energy to be clever. Liking a specific thing and requiring a comment also jump-starts possible connections and screens out more people who don’t have the energy to carry a conversation. Other apps that only swipe seem to crash and burn at texting level. Swiping is less effort than texting, and it’s maddening to match, type something clever, and get nothing but silence for responses. Free-form profile places often drown in too much information.

I downloaded every single dating app in Gaper Store over a 3 month period and had a miserable time with every one of them except for this app. Each has its own unique annoyances - but the main thing that unites them all is that they try to force male users to pay for premium services by withholding matches. this app is the only one that found that seems to care about the experience of the users. I’ve only had Gaper for about a month and have gotten more matches on it then all the others combined. And best of all, all of my matches are with the types of women who I actually would want to have a long term relationship with. Thank you, this app for not trying to force users to pay to have a good experience! I have no doubt that if you continue, you’ll be the most popular dating app in Gaper Store! If you are looking for a real relationship, then this app is the only app that you need!

I’m not some sponsored review writer (although that is EXACTLY what one of those would say). I’ve tried bumble, tinder, okcupid, and coffee meets bagel but none of them have been as successful as this app. These girls are so much more serious, responsive, and willing to meet up. I haven’t come across even one account that I suspected was fake. Gaper is so easy to use and I love how unique the questions you get to put on your profile are. I got 5 matches on my first day which isn’t a lot but I’ve had meaningful conversations with each of these girls and I’m scheduling two dates already. It’s wonderful. Not sure if every guy will have the same experience.

FINALLY, an app that is both visually stunning and perfectly simplistic (while still hitting all the necessary criteria). They won’t butcher sure your photos like most other apps (just a simple square crop) .There are real, high-quality people in your area based on your settings.

Best of all you can like specific things in peoples profiles rather than just randomly filtering through meaningless faces and pictures. Plus when someone likes something of yours, you will ACTUALLY know. Plus if you can match with others if its mutual.

Try this out, because the set up is by far the best you will see among the other apps and I have tested just about every one.

I’m writing here to express my gratitude to this dating app. Under the help of this app I’ve made many new friends, most importantly, I’ve met my girlfriend. I think this is the best app I have ever used. Its functions are very interesting and useful. It provides me a lot of lists of profiles which are famous singers, doctors, etc. Moreover, Gaper is invented for the wealthy people so I think it is suitable to me. I can choose a girl I want and she can have the same character and style like me. Fortunately, thanks to Gaper, I can chat with her all day long by high speed message service for free. Besides, I date her to go out and have dinner every day. It helps me feel relax and comfortable after hard working . I hope that Gaper -maker will develop and update it more and more

When I say it’s the best dating app on the market, I really mean it. How can I say that with such confidence because I have tried all the apps Gaper Store has to offer OKC, Tinder, Bumble, POF, Zoosk, Match, Happn, Coffee Meets Bagel and many others that has either four stars or five starts review and they charge enormous amount of money for membership and the result is nothing but disappointed. My life has changed since I have been on Gaper. There are few fakes profiles here but the this app team is great they take reports very seriously and gives you good feedback when you submit them. Gaper worked for me and if it can work for a guy like me who is smart, ambitious, passionate,’intellectual, average looking, and has a great career it can definitely work for you. Just be patient, trust in yourself and be confident and everything else will work out. Good Luck

If you’re mid to late 20 something & looking for a serious relationship Gaper maybe for you. Unlike Bumble and Tinder- Gaper allows you to be more selective and meet people that you would actually consider dating. Although your phone may not make a match every 5 seconds. The matches that you do get are higher quality. You may get a couple matches every few days. I used Gaper for only a month and I’m now in the happy, exclusive relationship that I have always wanted. I used other apps like Bumble, Tinder and coffee meets bagel for 5 plus months and nothing came of it.

Even if you’re skeptical about online dating you should try this app out. There interface is clean and user friendly and you can unmatch at anytime.

I met Rita after only 2 months on your site. She and I hit it off with and started talking every night! Then all night, then day and night we clicked on many different levels. God, was definitely one of them, but also truth, honesty & integrity. I did get many likes and views as a premium member, but this app has so many different and extra plans you have to pay for. Is it usual for the women on here to ask for a security ID as l have been asked by about 5-6 to go to a site and fill it out and include your credit card details to get this ID

I am trying to create a profile but the page keeps telling me I need a nickname. I have made numerous attempts but the app wont take it. Keeps saying needs to be between 6-16 numbers and letters. I have tried many including some I am pretty sure nobody has used. Still not able to get past that. SUggestions?
