Everything is gone!

I spent a lot of time going through every single exhibitor and staring the ones I wanted to see. I opened it up and there are 4 exhibitors started and nothing else. I wasted all that time.

Unfortunate

NAMM has moved forward on SO many things but this version of the NAMM app is a definite step backwards. The programming overhead was so bulky that the loading of each page was unnecessarily slowed down. Not being able to sort on types of instruments was limiting. The notifications, which show as a number on NAMMShows icon disappear when NAMMShows is opened and it takes multiple clicks to drill down to them.

Most critically and far and away the most frustrating was that the map was not only wrong but disorienting to use. Last year was SO much better in this regard. Also, booth numbers need to be put on the map along with company names. Otherwise, the user has to look up the company in two places to get all the necessary information.

NAMM you can do better.

Horrible

The apps from previous years were much easier to navigate. It’s extremely difficult to search because it doesn’t list categories of instruments.

I just received an email from NAMM that let’s me search exhibitors at the show- listed by categories. I went through this list and starred them on NAMMShows . It was a long and painstaking process doing it this way.

Finally after going to “my favorites” on NAMMShows and selecting “exhibitors” when I was finished - all but four completely disappeared. I saw all the exhibitors I had entered, starred and saved as I was doing it but then almost all of them vanished into thin air as I was entering my last one.

I don’t know who created NAMMShows but if I ever meet them I will ask to be reimbursed for all the time I wasted.

I will now go back through the exhibitor list on NAMM and write down with paper and pencil all the names and booth numbers of the ones I want to see.

I loved all previous NAMM apps. Don’t waste your time with this one.

Please add sort

NAMMShows worked great, but it desperately needs the ability to sort favorite exhibitors by booth number. It is a huge show across 3 different convention areas and i found myself walking back and forth to see the exhibitors i marked as favorites. It would save a huge amount of walking time if they were in booth number order.

NAMMShows rocks!
Literally happiness. Every year, just after Christmas I open it up and get excited to do my “pre-game” exploring around the show... The best part is it take the notes for me, I don’t have to do anything but press simple buttons to schedule one of the busiest and most dynamic weekends of the year. Thanks NAMM! You’re SUPER STARS!!

Useless

I was excited to use NAMMShows for the first time. Couldn’t believe how useless it quickly became. The map doesn’t tell you where you are! The majority of things I tried to look up I couldn’t find. Spent the whole day wandering around lost. And you could tell everybody else was too because everyone was walking around bumping into each other looking at their phones.
Waste of time.

Information Overload, not much help in navigation

I seem to be getting updates every 20 minutes or so and can’t find where to turn them down or off.
The show is already sensory overload +++ set on 11.
Come on, folks. Give us a break from pushing useless information and creating more noise.
I don’t need parking lot updates all day long, for example. Ugh.

App isn’t the problem it’s the WiFi in Anaheim.

NAMMShows is so much better than previous years. However, it stalled a lot because WiFi is a huge issue & phone signals lag.

Terrible app

Last year and previous years were much better. Show directory useless, better using the hard copy. Last year you can pick list by categories so you don’t have to scroll through long list plus last year gave allot more details about the company... I really couldn’t find much that I liked about NAMMShows

Worthless!!

NAMMShows is worthless. I’m not sure who came up with it but they failed miserably. I can’t sink my exhibitors list from my iPad to NAMMShows. On my iPad I have all of them in alphabetical order so I can just see all the booths in a certain area. I can’t sink that list with NAMMShows. Worthless!
Maybe hirer someone who knows something about the NAMM show next time? Complete fail!!

Nice

The map is a massive improvement and mostly what I use NAMMShows for on-site... Maybe someday NAMM can stick with a single app strategy for more than a year?

Great experience!

This is a vast improvement from the previous app. Can’t wait to use this new app to navigate the show!

Great Navagation

The navigation is super simple to follow. Needs a bit more descriptive areas for the scheduling.

Namm app

It has forgotten my favorites several times now. I am sick of entering them in. Perhaps a map? Or next to each booth number, an idea of what hall it is in so you can have a plan going in? A checklist feature so you can mark off what you’ve seen so you don’t miss anything would be great. Have the designers ever been to a NAMM show? SAD!

Constant Crash

Constantly crashing every time I visit a link to start building my schedule. Seems like a repeat of the Ap from 2018. Hopefully the developer gets fixed before the show opening.

The user interface seems much improved if it would just work.
