This feels like the guy at the bar who thinks buying a drink means sex. I think there’s nothing wrong for wanting to be paid for the work you do but as a company I think it’s wrong to hard sell before providing value. It wouldn’t hurt to have an extremely limited lite version. Then the main complaint you get would be instantly put to rest.

Don’t bother downloading Soundly, with their selection of sounds Soundly should be free. Not worth it at all.

Additionally the company is shady, I downloaded Soundly for the 7 day free trial and they automatically charged me $60 the second I downloaded. I can’t get a hold of their support team and they do not respond when I asked for a refund because I didn’t want to use Soundly .

I use white noise so I can fall asleep because it’s loud in my dorm. I thought this was a normal free white noise app, but apparently you get automatically signed up to a yearly $60 charge. I’ve only had Soundly for a few months and now I have to pay $60?! Not cool. I obviously wouldn’t have gotten it if I had known I’d be charged. I reached out to their email but didn’t get a response. Disappointed.

Being a college student, focus is absolutely necessary for success in classes, and using Soundly gave me the focus and the precision I needed. Now that the creators put up a paywall, looks like I’m going to have to find a new app to use and love. Will not recommend Soundly anymore and my family members have already deleted off of their phones as well.

I really like Soundly. It worked the first time I opened it. But then, when I went to open it up again, it required me to pay to use it's features. I'm not paying. I don't know why you guys changed Soundly, but I don't like it and I uninstalled it.

First things first, I just downloaded Soundly earlier this morning. Soundly was great! I loved that I could literally make my own happy space. Mixing together sounds to create an environment tranquil to my own ears and mind. After getting home from work I decided to use it for meditation for the night. I remember tapping the “X” in the left corner when the subscription ad popped up earlier, but when I reopened it I had no other option; I could only pay for the full version or nothing else. Heck I even uninstalled and reinstalled it, sadly nothing changed. It was nice while it lasted though.

Its a great app and ive tried dozens like it, I love that this one has such soothing ambience, not like others that just have a bunch of annoying pianno loops. Unfortunatley once the trial ended i couldnt use a thing or even get back in it. I understand it was a trial but I assumed the free version would just be limited selections and could still use some. Im sad as I really fell in love with it but just cannot afford subscriptions like these. I would love it if developers created a free version of something similiar with a few features, they are deff on right track with there sound apps and wish others had there vision.

I loved Soundly when I first got it. The sounds were really pretty and really helped me fall asleep and relax. I find that (and i’m sure a lot of other people do too) that it’s too much money to subscribe. You could make the free version locked away from a few things and make the monthly subscription thing cheaper and i’m sure you would get more customers.

I loved Soundly. Was amazing being able to mix and choose what worked best for me to drift off to sleep too. I even loved the pre-made sessions as well. 7 days was more then enough to get me hooked. Downfall is the price is just more then what I am able to afford. Would still recommend for sure. But I just can’t see spending the money for this at the price right now.

I love that you can layer sounds for your own sound experience. The variety is great and the stories are creative and calming. My savior is the “back to sleep” meditation for nights when I wake up at 3am!

Not only is Soundly super functional and effective, but they update it all the time with new content and are incredibly responsive with feedback and suggestions, and seem to try hard to make things better for you as an individual. Great folks. Great content, everything from sound effects to binaural tones to industrial sounds to great sleep music.

Great app. Helps me get to sleep when my mind won’t shut down. Good variety of meditation, hypnosis and story telling. Very calming and unique sounds and music. Love the favorites feature so you can save your mixes . Totally worth the subscription.

This is really cool! I would say that this has the same sounds when you turn it on your Alexa! There is even rain sounds and probably more to discover! I want to ask. Did you make that amazing Alexa skill?

Wonderful app, lovely, and very useful. However, I log in with my pzizz account and everything is fine. But the next time I open Soundly I’m logged out and have to log in again. How can I stay logged in to this app with my pzizz credentials?

Soundly is really nice and helped me get to sleep for a few days, but after a while it will lock you out behind a paywall. I would love to keep using it, but I really can’t afford to pay $60 a year for it, and would’ve liked to know that was a requirement up front.

I found Soundly itself very useful. The guided meditations are excellent, especially the sleep ones.

However, Soundly will charge you a year upfront for the subscription once the free trial is up. Be careful and make sure to cancel before they charge you if you do not wish to pay the year up front.

I've been a Pzizz user for many years so was excited to give Soundly a try. As a blind user, I'm concerned about VoiceOver accessibility but fortunately, Soundly seems very accessible. Absolutely love the fantastic sounds, it's clear that a great deal of work has gone into making Soundly awesome.

I have used Pzizz to fall asleep for years. Since it was a desktop app that output MP3 files, actually. Now I use it on my phone every night. If I happen to wake up, I have a saved this app favorite I’ve built that helps me fall right back to sleep and keeps me asleep through the night. I love this (these) apps!
