    Very shady

A lot of people talked about free trial here so I thought it comes with a free trial. I downloaded it and purchased it. But then I realized that there isn’t one. I decided to give it try. I’m not a fitness expert but I personally don’t like it. The workouts look really basic and especially there are not many gym workouts. When I went to the developer website, there is no info on the people who developed the app. Are the people who created the app professional trainers? They’re very sneaky with the billing. So later I realized that if you download the app through the link from Google, you do get a 7-day free trial. But the subscription price doubles compared to direct download from the App Store. That’s so shady. I wonder how many are paying that much money. I looked more deeply into the reviews and realized that a lot of people had the same issue as me, and the customer service here imply Apple controls the refund. But if you go to Apple refund page, it’ll tell you it’s not within policy to refund. The policy is set by the App developers. Overall, I really have some suspicions over why this app is one of the top ranked apps but so many much better similar apps (Nike training club, Fitbod, Centre, etc.) are ranked far below.

    Some fixes needed

I love the workouts and the way they work, I just want it to work with my Apple Health app and sync my steps, weight, height, blood pressure etc and everything else a regular workout app uses to help personalize the experience for each user. If you can do this, I won’t need to hit start walking, and then walk 30 minutes and hit stop once I’m done in order to record that. I walk more than half an hour a day everyday, I just don’t log it. It counts in my phones pedometer via the Health app but I want that reflected on the app too with my workouts and I want it to affect the way my workouts will be when I start to do it. I would gladly pay more just to make it easier for me and make it easier on everyone else who are having very similar issues as well. It’s a feature that’s expected that isn’t there and it’s kinda disappointing that we pay for an app that has so much potential but lacks in the basics. If these features get added, this app would go from a 2-star to a 5-star top 5 fitness apps in the App Store. Just the basics are lacking.

This is the best workout app yet!

I was a little worried this app was gonna be one of those “workout apps” but this really impressed me 7 days of professional training for free from the comfort of your home! I really felt the burn on the first day and am currently heading into the 2nd. Choosing what you want to work on is also great because I had certain areas I wanted to workout. Overall great app definitely recommend it!

Total Fail (unless you have never done 1 push-up)

First - background: 1) I’m muscular- huge calves, quads and flutes, big shoulders and arms, pretty good sized chest. I selected my “belly” as the focus area. 2) I also input that I wanted to drop weight. I follow the Keto diet which does not allow processed foods, high sugar fruits, grains. ——— Before I could see any workout or diet recommendations, I had to pay - which I did. I reviewed the first 3 days of “my customized “ workout and diet program. NO exercises for my “belly” - only for arms, shoulders, legs. 100% fail there. Diet was ALL high sugar smoothies, processed grains- which all spike insulin. The ultimate ANTI-Keto diet, so the daily food recommendations were dead nuts wrong (but to be fair, this app never asked for any diet preferences, allergies and so forth - it just assumes you will eat whatever they suggest). Based on the parochial nature of the not-ready-for-prime-time app, and the 100% irrelevant and/or wrong recommendations, I cancelled within an hour of signing up. Now let’s see if they credit back my subscription fee. Bottom line: Do NOT buy this app until they get the most basic elements dialed in - maybe check back in late 2020

    Buyer Beware!

The program is enticing & marketing attractive, however, when you go through the questions then get the exciting results, you have to pay $59 per year (best deal) to access the program? I don’t think so!!! Why not be up front & show the charge for the app so people can decide if they want to spend their money. I know you’ll say the reason is there are different payment options. At least your app could say there is a “membership charge”. There are plenty of good exercise apps that don’t cost anything. A money back guarantee would help, but I still wouldn’t buy it. I discussed this with a bunch of my workout buddies at the gym & my work & they totally agree. Sorry, but you lost a lot of prospects.

    Can’t cancel? READ THIS.

Ok people LISTEN UP. TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ANY APP YOU MUST GO TO SETTINGS AND CLICK ON YOUR APPLE ID AT THE TOP OF THE SETTINGS MENU AND CLICK MANAGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS! YOU CAN NOT UNSUBSCRIBE FROM APPS IN THE ACTUAL APP. On a second note, it sounds to me like people aren’t understanding that you get a week free, but you do have to put your credit card info in first, like you do with most other Apps that charge. They won’t charge until after the 7 day trial period but once that’s over it automatically charges your card. If you don’t like the app, refer to my instructions above and cancel before the 7 days. You can’t blame the app developers for you being dumb. You’re welcome.

    Something not right

    1. There is no free trial to understand if the app is a good fit for my needs. You will have to sign up before it can be used 2. I went with Beginners options workout plan using Gym as the pace of workout. All workouts are quite repetitive and does not offer anything specific to Gym equipments 3. A preview of 5 seconds is too fast to understand the way a specific exercise has to be performed. By the time I kind of understood the dynamics - actual timer would start - definitely I was not able to synchronize myself with the speed of previews. Whole time I was rewinding and trying to follow - a very frustrating experience 4. I wish there was an Apple Watch app - so I won’t have to look at my phone repeatedly. At the end I realized I am spending more time synchronizing myself with the app rather than focusing on my exercise. Definitely I am not feeling encouraged to use the app after 3 days if my trial - I wish there was a refund option available

    Programmers

I’m gonna have to agree with the young man. We live in a day and age where being in shape is the trend. If your going to create the app at least make if free so that people and actually enjoy it. But your giving it a week. Everyone knows you do see results that fast. No one minds paying but create the with added features that can be brought. So if the top grossing games and apps are free with purchasable content such as fornite. PvP games and app and they are extremely successful. If your app is good people won’t mind paying for extra content. Overall make the app free and see how you do with extra content that could be bought.

    Kinda need to try it

I’m a pretty experienced lifter and have gone through many different physical transformations. I sit naturally at 155 and once gained enough mass to be at 180 and also got myself down to 150lbs with 4%body fat. That being said, there should be a free week, day, anything trial. I don’t expect to get things for free but with a service like this, I need to see what you have to offer before I blindly jump in. Even just reading though the suggested plan for free once would be good enough for me to trust your recommendation and give it a shot. I tried finding the free trial twice, if it’s there, it’s not obvious.

I’m trying to cancel my subscription

I enjoyed the app, it gives you great home workouts as well as gym workouts, and after using the app for sometime I came up with a good workout plan for myself, but now I can’t cancel my subscription. It would be super helpful if I could cancel it just by going through the app but it’s not that easy, if anyone knows how to cancel it please help.

    Zero stars

This app promotes itself as a replacement for a personal trainer that can use an algorithm based on a tiny amount of input about you and your goals. The app gives no guidance on how much weight to lift for its established number of reps, is completely based on a timeline that does not include any rest between sets or muscle groups, and couldn’t be further from useful for muscle gain. It automatically set my goal to gain 10 lbs as a 4 week plan. For anyone that’s attempted to gain a lean 10 lbs, this is extremely unreasonable. The first workout was a high rep, high volume workout. Those don’t work for gaining mass. Complete garbage. Get Fitbod for $40/year instead of this for $120/year.

    Sneaky snake in the grass

This is literally just like those fake surveys that get the attention of kids to make you fill out a survey and in the end get nothing. Don’t make an app free and then have people go throughout little survey to see what kind of body they want and all and then after that tell them there “personal plan” is ready and show them a payment page. That’s just despicable misleading. And some people have the audacity to say people are acting childish by complaining when we say this should be free. It’s not even that it’s that you let me waste 5 mins on your dumb survey. This should be taken off the top free apps

    Hey developers

If you guys make an app to help people get fit don’t do a trial or something cus I’m a kid I’m 12 I’m looking forward to getting buffed and all but even the for the free trial I have to pay can you guys change this and make it so you don’t have to pay at all because if I told my parents I wanted to pay a trial so I can get buffed they won’t think it’s foolish and think I’m dumb or something like that so please change this I would appreciate it sooo much!!!!

    Not a good app

I am not satisfied with this app so how do I cancel my plan before it hits my card because I did the 7 days for free and then once those seven days are over it will take 15 dollars off my card and I have only used this app once and I don’t like it so I would like to know who to cancel it before it takes the 15 dollars

    Great App

This is a great app! I even noticed slight change within 2 days. If you want to work out but don’t know where to start this is the place for you. The one thing I just don’t understand is the daily menu. It doesn’t have me eating enough calories and meat/protein and the recipes are expensive and complicated. Also, I don’t go to the store everyday and the daily menu only shows a layout for one day.
