Bad Experience

I was super excited to join this application as my friend had done it and recommended I try it out too. When I began, I was able to complete a survey with no problems. I got a gift card and I was very happy! But after completing my next task of over 300 sentences, when it came time to re-record 2 sentences, the task just stopped working. I tried to get in contact with customer service about this issue on multiple occasions. The first complaint took 2-4 days to receive a response on. The representative was very nice and understanding that it was not an error of mine that I could not re-record the sentences. And I was assured that they were going to try and help me fix the issue. The two stars I gave this review is for that representative only. After that talk, I emailed, and even texted time and time again to be met with the response only 1 time after the first response that someone was working to fix the issue. After that, I have never received any replies or updates(it has been over two weeks since this problem began.) While I do understand there is a pandemic that may be resulting in slow reply times, it is no excuse to ignore your customers who are putting a lot of time and effort into helping with these tasks only to not be rewarded for their work. I will only change my mind about this company when they begin to be more attentive to issues in the app. This was a complete waste of time for me.

Waste of Time, Difficult to Contact Support

I’ve completed two Robson tasks prior with success, however for the “US English Speech Collection - Summer Collection” task which required 283 recordings I completed and played them back. Then today I received an email saying I need to re-record ALL 283 sentences?? Normally if I need to re-record some sentences, it would explain why under each phrase (i.e. background noise, too loud, too quiet, etc.) but there was no explanation given! There is no way to contact customer service through the app since I don’t use the iPhone email app and the email I received is a do-not-reply. Also, although they rejected all my recordings and won’t pay me, it doesn’t mean that they still won’t use them!! What a scam — look elsewhere to earn money.

This App does not highlight my information, it also does not show the correct dates when trying to add your birthday, it’s just blank and you have to guess if your near the correct dates, I finally got the right month and year but can’t get the proper date, I am not going to use a third party email address to send you feedback and a complaint. The fact that you can’t email directly is frankly a waste of time. Also the tasks are call your friends, none of my friends speak Spanish. And the relatives that do I won’t speak to because they are horrible people. I am not an an immigrant so there is no bypassing the option to say no. This Definitely needs an update. Because so far it is a complete waste of time and energy.
