I had a group I’m in set up with Piccup. Overall it’s functional and the messaging is quick and easy.

I probably prefer the feel of groupme overall, but have seen that seriously slow down.

THIS is what has been missing in my life. I got my group of ~50 beach volleyball players on this and it has made it EASY to organize both reoccurring and unique events. Super user-friendly— there are even some older (70ish) players who use it without issue! Highly recommend if you’re looking to save time and grow a community. HeyloBuildcommunitygroups has made a tremendous impact on how much the group plays— a great thing for everyone.

I became part of a beach volleyball community about 2 years ago and they were using Heylo. As a group member, HeyloBuildcommunitygroups made it easy to connect with people and join and create events, in our case mostly pick-up games.

The community grew and started organizing tournaments with +120 players and 100% organized through Heylo. The community also started offering clinics to improve our skill in the game and they are running smoothly, one week after another, with +70 people showing up. Heylo makes managing these events easy.

So if you are managing a community or part of one, I'd strongly recommend you to give Heylo a try!

Love HeyloBuildcommunitygroups. I have a large community centered around health and wellness. Before Heylo we were really struggling to communicate with each other effectively which reduced engagement and overall cohesion in the groups. Facebook groups and WhatsApp messaging just weren’t sufficient. Since switching to Heylo we’ve seen better attendance, more participation and engagement and have gotten really good feedback from our community members...especially around the messaging and photo capability.

The user experience is clean and intuitive. Really grateful to have found HeyloBuildcommunitygroups. Highly recommend.

I love HeyloBuildcommunitygroups . Our running group recently switched over from GroupMe. I love the multiple events and the chats associated with each event. The interface for “liking” posts are an adjustment. I love the reply function and the tagging capabilities. The one thing I would love to see is the ability to zoom in on a picture without having to download. We often share group photos and I need the zoom functionality in order to see everyone’s faces. I don’t want to download for that.
Overall great app. Keep up the great work

It is a platform that provides the opportunity to create events, track attendance, chat with other members, meet new people and groups while also participating in the activities you love.

Heylo has definitely enhanced group engagement! It’s helpful to see upcoming events and attendees to create a sense of accountability. The chat features are really great to ask questions, share links, etc. It is also nice to be able to opt into group discussions as you chose. Overall, highly recommend Heylo for any and all teams!

I used HeyloBuildcommunitygroups when I visited SF to join a beach volleyball clinic on ocean beach and loved how easy it was. I was able to meet some of the staff there and they were all very friendly and even helped me assess what level would be good for me. Will definitely be using it again next time I visit!

If you have a group but don’t want to open it up to the world, Heylo gives you all the organizational functionality you need to manage events. It’s easy to use, works like it should, and the staff listen to and encourage my suggestions. I’m glad I found it.

HeyloBuildcommunitygroups works great for setting up events and communications across a group. I’m in a club that has multiple events going on each week, and we (30+ people) use Heylo to plan events and have conversations about them.

As someone interested in forming IRL community, HeyloBuildcommunitygroups seems to be exactly what I have been searching for for FOREVER.

Event-focused. With chat functionality. And simple user profile pages.

I haven’t hosted any events yet, but I built my first group. The process was intuitive, and the functions I mentioned are there.

I will update my review after I get around to hosting an event. But if you’re looking for a community building platform—esp. for local events—that’s not say, Facebook Groups, this seems to be it!
