Like but missing items

So I really like the layout of BabyTracker and the overall look. Main reason why I chose it. Very clear and easy to see without adds and modern design elements which I appreciate.
There is a pretty clear lack of items that I would find very beneficial. Overall I think users REALLY need to be able to create their own categories/tags they want to see on the graph. It doesn’t show you a total time or any breakdown for right/left breast (a feature I loved in my previous apps) I also think there needs to be a section within sleep where i can put how long he took to fall asleep/was crying/fighting etc and where he fell asleep. I have a couple day old newborn that hates to sleep alone in his bassinet so tracking if he slept in our bed/couch or was crying/fussing for 10 mins before he finally fell asleep would be great. These things could go into notes but I would love to be able to set your own categories for the graph and summary portion.
I’m going to keep looking for a better app but in the meantime this will do. Would have 5/5 if they had these important features because I absolutely love the look and that you can invite caretakers
Love this app but...

I love BabyTracker and I’ve been using it religiously for the past 5 months. My daughter had trouble falling asleep on her own but I’ve been putting her in her crib to learn how to soother herself. So when I would track her sleep at night, I would put the timer start time like 10 minutes in the future so it gives her some time to fall asleep. Well, the recent update changed that and now I can no longer do that. So I’m now staying awake at night until she fall asleep so I can start the timer. I don’t like this change. I will probably stop using the sleep tracker feature because of it. I’ll probably fall asleep waiting for the baby to and end up not tracking the sleep. Idk why they changed this. It was helpful. Also, I cannot get into the immunization records that I put in on that tab. It won’t open them unless I create a new record and then save it and then I can view my past saves. All in all, BabyTracker is good for tracking diapers and feedings. But not so much for the immunizations and sleep.
Love it!

We haven’t missed logging a bottle, nap, or diaper change since our little boy was born 4 months ago. I love that there’s no clutter, articles, ads. I feel like the other baby apps we tried were trying to build an “ecosystem” which got in the way of actually using BabyTracker . BabyTracker is easy to use, it’s quick to log something and be done, and the averages/summaries are helpful in figuring out why he’s fussy (hasn’t pooped in 36 hours, below average on sleep or oz). Dropped 1 star due to a bug where the time selector sometimes snaps back after being changed, and no native iPad app. Also, often something I log on the watch doesn’t show up on my wife’s phone until I open the iPhone app, but I think that’s more a limitation of Apple Watch APIs. Still, having the watch sync directly to the cloud instead of through the watch app would likely resolve this issue. Things to-do app is an example of a watch app that used to suffer the same problem until they had the watch communicate directly with the server via Wi-Fi/LTE instead of going through the phone. Highly recommend BabyTracker above all other baby tracking apps.
Awesome baby tracking!!

I have not used all the sections available in this application, but I do use the sections for feeding, pumping, and diapers.
My 2 favorite things about BabyTracker is that it is fairly simple to use, and you can share with family/caretakers. This means it is very easy to input information, and then the application tracks the information. It shows immediate information, such as when you last fed your baby (via breastfeeding, bottle, or solids), and past information (you can go to past days or see trends based on the information you enter).
I did have an instance where my husband started a timer when I was breastfeeding, and then I ended the timer, but because he still had the timer going on his phone, and ended it 15 minutes after I did, he overrode my entry - lesson: don’t enter information at similar times or when someone else has it open. But I do really like that you can input and change information from multiple devices, because sometimes the device you started the time on gets moved and so you need to enter or stop timers on a different device.
I also wish that the pumping would note when you breastfeed your baby. The number of times you breastfeed may impact the number of times you pump, so a small reminder of that would be nice.
I also appreciate the option to add photos. We’ve needed to capture some diaper pictures, so this is a quick place to put it, where we’ve already recorded the date/time
I tried a few different baby tracking apps, and this one was the most intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. It has what we need and it is somewhat customizable, so we can unselect what we don’t need. The main issue I have is that there seems to not be a way to refresh BabyTracker . So, when you share BabyTracker with caregivers, you might not see the current status. For example, baby was sleeping, but has now woken up. The other caregiver stopped the sleep timer. However, you look at BabyTracker and the sleep timer is still running. You are confused and stop the timer. Now you get an error message. If you were able to refresh BabyTracker , though, you could have seen that the timer was stopped. The only way I have figured out to “refresh” it or “sync” it it, is to completely close it out and open it again.
Has everything we want!

Things my partner and I love about BabyTracker: -great timer for breastfeeding: can time each side, pause, enter other data in BabyTracker , then go back to timer without losing your time/info. -simple buttons and choices for entering data like diaper changes, routines, etc. -opens keyboard for entering data when you select that field (you’d be surprised how annoying this is when it doesn’t happen—I have a wiggling baby, I don’t have time to select the same thing twice because someone didn’t think that I would want to enter data into a field I literally just selected 🙄) -automatically enters the time when you select the data you want to enter (see above again) -can sync with a partner/others to coordinate care -timer sync as well! Super helpful if one of you puts down the baby for a nap and the other gets them up—either person can start/stop the timer so you’re never left with a timer hanging out there in the ether. -can enter growth info like weight, height, head size, etc. -can enter personalized ‘routines’, like tummy time and baths as well as creating your own items. -beautiful design and colors. Not cluttered or distracting. Not constantly trying to sell you something.

Love how customizable BabyTracker is, that it links to my Apple Watch, that some thought was put into the aesthetic, and that it is user friendly! I had to stop breastfeeding and I am thankful that I was able to remove the breastfeeding tracker when I had to switch to formula feeding. My heart was broken every time I saw breastfeeding as an option to track and I couldn’t utilize that option. Being able to remove it has made me feel better that I don’t see that constant reminder that I can’t breastfeed anymore. Other apps may have the option too but I didn’t know how to customize those, this is a very easy process! When I was breastfeeding the breastfeeding tracker was amazing! Wish that I had had BabyTracker sooner! Also, the medicine and temperature tracking have been a lifesaver too!
Lifesaver for Twins

I love BabyTracker to keep track of things! I only use it for keeping track of how much I pump and for dirty diapers mainly. I do keep tract of immunizations as well as weight at check ups. We spent 5 weeks in the NICU and came home on fortified breast milk. They take a certain amount of mL per feed and when we first got home it helped me track that as well (they wash take diff amounts). They now finish everything in their bottle, but will if they get sick and don’t take full bottles. Will be very handy when they get sick for last medication given, temperatures, how much they eat, and wet diapers. It helps keep track of their growth curve (even though the percents are not correct compared to the chart pediatrician uses) but I can see how their curve is trending. Very pleased with BabyTracker!
Game changer!

We would seriously be lost without Nara! We started using it in the hospital when we realized we couldn’t remember everything that happened in a 3 hour window. We rave about it to everyone, even our friends without kids. We live a pretty fast paced life so we are thankful that BabyTracker remembers all of the details and records our trends for us in every area! You can even add your own! They thought of everything in BabyTracker including multiple caregivers, the ability to add photos to your entries, daily/weekly/monthly trends, and more. With so much data at our fingertips it helps us to adjust to baby’s new needs quickly and it’s fun to look back and see how baby is growing and advancing. BabyTracker is a must have! Straightforward and easy to use.
BabyTracker is the best. No need to search any further. It’s simplistic but visually appealing screen is perfect and easy to see and use. Tracks everything you need, feeding (breast, formula, solids), diaper changes with options to record what the waste looked like, sleep, routines, medical history and more. It doesn’t require a lot of clicking through screens which is great when you have one hand and you’re trying to add a feeding before you forget while holding a bottle in place with your chin. Since I downloaded it they updated by adding “routines” as something to track. You can add your own routines and save them so they’re available in the future. We added tongue-tie exercises to keep track of how many times we do them in a day. You can do the same for medicine or vaccines. It really is a great app! And what makes it even better is that it’s free. It’s better than any of the paid apps. Oh and it provides easy to read summaries if you really want to evaluate your data! Save yourself time, download BabyTracker, delete and forget about the others. BabyTracker needs to be #1 on all of the best baby tracking apps. Nothing compares.
Best tracking app for baby’s schedule

All other apps essentially try to sell you things that should be included or not cost anything considering the simplicity of what is needed and being provided. Sick of the majority of the money grubbing developers i on the Apple App Store Nara decided to make their own app that should’ve been there all along without the greedy invasive ads and in app purchases a lot of others have. It’s a pitiful state BabyTracker Store is in but it’s little jewels like this one that brings hope that it will one day be restored to its old glory of the early days when the developers were not greedy and everyone didn’t think subscriptions were the answer to everything to squeeze ridiculous amounts of money out of unsuspecting people. Thank you Nara Team for producing this exceptional app.

BabyTracker is my lifeline. So often as a new parent you barely remember your own needs, you are in a fog of sleep deprivation those first few weeks (maybe months). We’ve been using BabyTracker from Day 1, and now 2 months later it’s what I turn to multiple times a day/night. As we start to re-enter the world and go out with our baby more I’m using the reminders feature to set alarms for next feedings and changes, tracking her sleep, and now that her bowel movements are less frequent, bracing ourselves for potential poopsplosions. It makes it a little easier to answer those questions when she starts crying- hungry? wet? sleepy? The only thing I wish is that it had a category for additional/personalized notes. For example: bath days/reminders, tummy time, etc.
Great . Covers all the essentials.

Love the graph and trends features . Love the summary feature. Love the simplicity (although one step further would be to put “left” and “right” breastfeeding buttons right at the start somehow (without having to tap “+” and then go in and choose) when im sleep deprived I often find I scroll to figure out the last side , tap the plus then forget to actually start the timer .. but overall ,it’s a great tool !! I also find it syncs quite well across devices (of other carers) although we’ve had minor confusions when it didn’t sync as immediately as possible . Also the timer on sleep , when we change the number of minutes by putting it in manually , for some reason it changes the start time , not the end time ?
Best app ever

My baby is 2 months old and I’ve been using BabyTracker since we brought him home from the hospital. At first I was only tracking feedings, but then slowly added in sleep, pumping sessions, and other routines like baths. I’ve also used BabyTracker to track his height and weight too. I love how simple and user friendly the it is. You just click and track. BabyTracker never crashes or glitches and it will remind you if you accidentally leave a timer running. BabyTracker has been really beneficial to me for noticing patterns in my baby’s behavior and making sure he doesn’t nap too long during the day so he sleeps well at night. The newborn time is so hectic it’s easy to lose track of things like this and BabyTracker really helps you keep it together. The fact that it is free is just icing on the cake. Download it now, you won’t regret it!
BabyTracker has eased so much anxiety in caring for our newborn. Unfortunately, I’m exclusively pumping for a few reasons and it’s no picnic. Our son is 3 weeks old and I felt like he was drinking more than I was pumping, so I needed a way to track every drop. I started just writing everything down, but that wasn’t really working so I was on the hunt for an app to help.
Baby tracker was recommended by his pediatrician, but it felt overly complicated. I found another one I liked, but unless we paid a monthly fee, we could only track 50 feedings/pumping sessions. I finally found Nara and I couldn’t be happier.
It’s extremely easy to input all the data from pumping sessions and feedings. I love that you can sync multiple caregivers, so my husband and I can input and track data on our own phones. You can add as many caregivers as you want. It’s so nice to have charts we can use to recognize patterns in his daily routine. My husband and I take shifts caring for our son. In our newborn brain fog we were struggling to recall everything. I’m no longer woken up being asked when he last ate, how much, last diaper change, etc. We can just look on BabyTracker and have all the info we need.
I would highly recommend BabyTracker to all parents of little ones. It has saved my sanity.
Best breastfeeding tracker ever!

by I'm Addicted To This Game
I’ve only used the breastfeeding and diaper tracking portions of BabyTracker , but it is fantastic. It’s super easy to use and visually a LOT less cluttered and more aesthetically pleasing than any other app I’ve tried. There’s also no ads or anything else popping up to bug you while you are trying to juggle a newborn. You can easily track both bottle and breastfeeding sessions, which has been very helpful as we get baby used to bottles. I also love the night mode and that the timer will remind you if you forget to hit ‘stop’ after a feeding session. The history and trend functions are great, and are NOT a paid feature like in a lot of other apps. I haven’t used the sharing feature yet but probably will when I go back to work so that me and my husband can stay on the same page with feedings. Hands down the best baby tracking app out there!
Easy and convenient

We love BabyTracker! I first started out with another app after our baby was born. I found it limiting. My husband wasn’t able to log things either. This is a team partnership! BabyTracker allows you to add other caregivers, have logs of other children, photos, medical information, and vaccination records! I was in love with it and keep finding more things to love. Then I can also log from my Apple Watch! Which is GOLD when your one handing it and can’t find your phone. I haven’t tried Siri with it yet but that would be useful! I was hoping that BabyTracker would be able to be developed as a widget to my phone too. It would be nice if it could connect to our nanit for record keeping of sleep. Also connect with Elvie app for logs of pumping. All ideas to improve! BUT we still love BabyTracker ! Highly recommend if your starting out looking for an app with ability and ease!
Best Tracking App I’ve Found!

After trying probably 20 different apps throughout pregnancy and postpartum, this is by far the best app out there for general tracking purposes. Why? - NO ADDS!!! Seriously one of my favorite things about BabyTracker. - You Can track sleep, breastfeeding/bottle/solids, diaper changes, meds, vaccines, and add your own daily routines. (What we’re all looking for in a good tracking app) - You Can add notes and photos to ANY event, which are then saved and can be reviewed at a later time (to see all the adorable changes your baby goes through!) - The timers are super easy to use and you can have multiple ones going at the same time. - USER INTERFACE is soooo smooth and easy to work with! This is super important for moms who are busy and don’t have time to fiddle around. I also love how a glance at the dashboard shows how long it has been since the last events tracked for each item. - History can be viewed linearly by scrolling OR with a glance at the calendar and each different tracker has its own color. - Patterns are viewable under the “trends” section where it conveniently summarized averages of each tracker. - Everyone Can participate in the tracking - from spouse to grandparent and on! ** Most of all I appreciate that it is FREE. They do not try to sell you things or only let you have limited access. No subscription required! LOVE LOVE LOVE BabyTracker!
Reassuring, amazing app

I love the Nara app! It’s super reassuring to have all the information I need about my baby in one place. Keeping track of things like sleep and diapers are super important for my peace of mind, and the pediatrician always ask about these things! I also love that there’s a breastfeeding timer right in BabyTracker so I know exactly how long my baby is eating for on each breast. Being able to connect with family is awesome too. I’m able to see exactly what’s going on with my baby if he’s being watched by someone else while I’m at work. The trends tab to see the average hours of sleep and feeding is awesome! I like that I can add photos right into BabyTracker too. The only con I can think of is if I start the sleep timer on my phone and my partner goes to stop it on his, it often keeps going on my phone and then it’s hard to track how long the baby actually slept. This bug needs to be fixed so that the data links from one phone to another automatically. Other than that, LOVE BabyTracker!
im a first time mom and i have a TERRIBLE memory, so BabyTracker has been super helpful in every way. i love practically every feature, especially the breastfeeding timer and the family option to share my account with my husband. i’ve looked at other baby apps but this one was my favorite, aesthetic wise. the other ones were confusing to me, but the simpleness of nara baby is perfect. and i love the widget option for home screens! the “last diaper change time” and “last feeding time” has kept me well informed in my sleepiness and forgetfulness. id rate more stars if i could!
coming back to review this review, there is one thing i would love to be changed in BabyTracker . whenever i start a timer for breastfeeding, it says last feeding time was at the beginning of the timer instead of when the timer stopped. so sometimes when my baby eats for 20+ minutes, it’ll say last feeding was 20+ minutes ago when i just barely finished and should track from then on to when he should eat again. but what’s 20 minutes i suppose!

I love BabyTracker so much it’s so easy to use, it’s so easy to track my baby boys feedings. The only negative thing I would say is that it does need an update since there’s so much Glitching and freezing. Otherwise I’m pretty decent app
I wish it showed how long they’ve been awake

BabyTracker is generally well-designed and easy to use. However I wish it showed how long the baby has been awake on the home screen. I know it shows what time they woke up but when you’re juggling a newborn, calculating the number of minutes I’ve been awake is more challenging than it seems.
Good but recently glitching

Nara is such a helpful app, especially for new parents. However, I wish I could add trackers for other matters (e.g., medicine, spit up, baths etc.). It’s be great if BabyTracker allowed users to add a few generic trackers that users could tailor to their needs (for example, you could make a medicine tracker, set it to track when you administer medicine to your child and the volume administered).
We love BabyTracker it has aided us with monitoring our son allergies to milk products the doctor was impressed with the accuracy we reported when we visited and it was due to BabyTracker 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Once again ability to attach a photo would make BabyTracker untouchable

I just tried out a dozen breastfeeding / diapering trackers for my 1-day-old and there was no contest. Other apps I tried either had ads (in one case for violent video games), clunky UI for essential tasks like adjusting timers, complex sign-up process for other caretakers, or just distracting, ugly graphic design. Nara has been a hit. How it can be free, I don’t fully understand!

This is so well designed and easy to use compared to other similar apps. I’m using it for my second baby and it’s a breeze and shows the info so clearly. The only feedback I have is that there should be an option for bottle feeding. I’m breastfeeding but sometimes offer a bottle and obviously there are tons of people bottle feeding or combining and I’m sure they want to track ounces.

BabyTracker is amazing and so helpful. It syncs with your partner or caregiver on their phone. It’s waaaay to good to be free. The developers should be earning money for their good work. There’s not even any ads. Thank you for this! 👍

If BabyTracker could send you a notification when it’s time to feed or change baby. I always have to go back to BabyTracker to see the last time I tended to baby so a notification/ reminder that it’s been 2 hours or 3 ours since baby’s last ate would be perfect! Also being able to customize the notification timing whether it’s ever 2 hours or every 4 hours whatever you need according to your baby.
Awesome app!
