Pineapple - Website Builder Reviews

I downloaded Pineapple because I knew NOTHING about coding but I really wanted to make my own app. When I made my own app using this app, I had to go do something so I exited out of this app. When I went back in, my progress was gone! I also remember sending a file to myself in iMessages. When I tried to open the file, it didn’t work. I would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem.

As a fnaf lover, I like all kinds of stuff....cats.....games.....etc. so....I’m not that good at this, you see, I don’t do stuff that needs a lot of work usually, so it would be nice if you could mabye....make an easy mode for some people that have just got the game, like me? If so that would be GREAT! Thank you. Also, if you can’t play other people’s apps or games, please make that a feature too, i don’t know if it’s already in-game or something like that so I’ll try to see.

Pineapple is so easy to use and looks stunning! As of right now, there is a small bug with the roundify option, the border doesn’t round so it looks kinda weird.

Pineapple is great if you want want buttons that just change the screen, web viewers and maps. The react input doesn’t do anything yet but I’m HOPING (hint hint this app) that I could some how make a login service or a search function with the text input..... Pineapple is amazing and it’s perfect for mobile app design in a mobile device.

Despite having potential to being highly useful, its had potential for long enough and its still a buggy mess. Resizing elements can be difficult, if not impossible in some instincts. Especially when nested. It's relatively lackluster and feels empty, yet certain elements simply dont work. Moving elements is clunky and weird. Editing elements can be buggy, such as being unable to edit sub-elements, sub elements deleting themselves randomly, and navigations that seem to break. As someone who payed for this software, I recommend skipping this software until the developers fix these basic issues. Seems like they've had these issues for a long time.

I really love Pineapple, I’m creating the basics of an app now and loving it so far. Very limited at the moment of things to work with but the possibilities are almost endless. I CANT WAIt till the next update!!! Absolutely adore the set up of Pineapple.

!!~~> I think they should add a fill in text box that saves login info or has the action that uses a certain word as a trigger and the causes another screen to show.
UPDATE->>>Also!! Need to add swipe triggers and a way to download the game to the phone <~~!!

I love Pineapple it’s so easy to make apps so far I’ve made ten and I’ve had it for 4 hours one thing though I don’t know if they look at they’d review but I wish you could send to people to down load or so you can down load that’s my only thing about Pineapple that I don’t like because other than that Pineapple is awesome amazing so cool I love it but remember one things I don’t like and that’s why I give Pineapple just 4 stars

I really wanted to like Pineapple, but for Pineapple I’m trying to create it falls really short. For one it says there are templates that can be shared, I assumed there would be templates to browse, but there wasn’t any I could find. You cannot make shapes, though they have said they are working on it. I specifically want to be able to add things like calendars and schedulers, so either templates or the ability to build them from scratch would make me happy. I am keeping this on my device since I know there will be future updates, but right now it only seems capable of very simple text apps.

Pineapple is great for people new to designing apps! However, there are some key features on here that Xcode has that would make Pineapple the BEST APP EVER! For starters, full screen mode. My login screen requires full screen because of the buttons on the edge of the screen

Pineapple is amazing and with a few minor improvements it’ll be my FAVORITE APP! Props to the developers for this amazing app and I hope in the future they add some more key features!!!

I have tried several apps like this, but this one is the best. It’s so easy to learn how to make your app it takes less than one day to learn how to use all of the cool gadgets. It’s fun and straight forward. But this is just a idea, what if you made it’s so that you can post your game into Pineapple so that way other creators can see or use you app.

Great concept! It’s the xCode of iPad but so much easier. It may lack several advanced features, but by being creative you can work around many of these limitations. This is Pineapple developers have always and needed, and it’s the way to go for more developers to start using devices such as iPad for coding and I can’t wait to start exploring more with it!

I downloaded this game because its this summer and i wanted something to do but when i started working I got to a point where the game just crashed.... when it crashed all of my work was gone! I spent 10 minutes on it twice but both times it crashed! My ipad is good so please respond so i know why!

Concept is genius like it’s like a website builder but for apps but the problem is the tools are VERY very limited like the most complex stuff is making a button that opens a website. If there were a lot more tools I would give 5 stars.

Pineapple offers very limited functionality even with payed features. I can’t see anyone creating a real app with it. Especially that you need a Mac to finish everything. I know developers can’t make it all work on iPad, but still app is useless this way. Payed subscription is unreasonable for what app can offer. In general I don’t think that any software for development can be subscription based.

When i try do delete something, it crashes Pineapple . Also, the amount of things you can do with the free subscription is very limited. Please make more stuff free, like the web view. Also actions are very limited. You can’t even make an app that changes the color of the background! And lasty, you actually need to pay money just to export it as an Xcode or even a swift playgrounds project, and it does not have any way to publish apps directly to Pineapple store. I hate Pineapple.

From the UX stand point is a piece of art. Clean user interface, well picked icons to represent actions, lovely dark theme 😺.
Areas of improvement: toolbar could have an explicit arrow or plus icon indicating there are more elements to choose.

I understand you need to get money but at least change the 3 screen to 10 screens at least! I can barely make anything with just 3 screens, the only thing I made was a cute animal eating a burger game but that’s all. You should add a least a bit more screens that’s all I’m recommending otherwise the game is great!

Pineapple has so much potential, but also has so many bugs that ruin the experience.

Sometimes Pineapple stops working, and you have to restart it loosing all the progress you didn’t save. This is the worst thing that has happened to me. This has happened 2 times.

Pineapple is good but… there needs to be some changes
1. Infinite screens/pages(without a subscription)
2.ads(without a subscription)

A huge limitation that wasn’t immediately apparent to me is the inability to run generated apps on the iPhone. First attempted app was to change text upon pressing a button. There is no action for loading a static text field. Next attempt was to simply show the local power company outage map. I think it went quite easily until I ran up against the iPhone limitation, so I don’t know if it works. this app is an interesting app, but not ready to go to work.

I’d give it a 4-5 cause I wanted to do things that I couldn’t do like for whack-a-Rick I wanted to make an object go over an object and make the object that was under an object do an action.

I love Pineapple, it’s awesome. But why only 3 screens? I think the pricing for premium is perfectly fine, $60/yr or $30 your first year is a good deal, but I’m not getting premium for a little while, so I’d prefer 100% instead of 3 screens without premium, it was 10. Please, this would be amazing! Pineapple is good but that 3 screens without premium ruins it for me. Or make like codes that are hidden in Pineapple or on some sort of social media that give you a week of free premium, and whatever app you made with that premium, stays the same, instead of deleting it or something. Or some games have “Follow us on (app) for a reward!” It makes it easier for people who cannot buy premium, but premium useful still, so you’ll still make some money. I would love this 100%, thanks for reading.

I absolutely love Pineapple! No coding app, a peaceful app! Dhamova, Inc, you did a really good job! Two things that does not need to be in Pineapple . Why does that app need a premium? It only lets you have 3 screens like “Caroline Hahn” said it. premiums aren’t going to require you to pay for a little while. I think you should fix that part when you check your app. Two stars Please write back soon. Bye-Bye!
