Every time I try to log in it says host Nam can’t be found

It’s saying I need a hostname

Mascot shows the message "There seems to be no internet access" and a black screen. And also the page with the personages is black, but the personages themselves are not visible! Please fix this error!

Mascot is currently being attacked by spam bots which brings the servers to a halt and no one can access anything. Someone should really fix this issue I even deleted the app and reinstalled it but nothing works this could be the end for Mascot but who knows?

When I open the mascot app it says “ a server with the specified hostname could not be found” and that’s the only thing that’s coming up, I haven’t gotten it to work all day. Please fix this.

Whenever I try to do almost anything, it says "There seems to be no Internet access" and it won't let me see my character, gc's, or dms or anything else.

I'm having problems posting a plot even though it's been weeks and weeks of not posting any plots it still says 'one plot every 6 hours' ITS BEEN DAYS!!

I can’t see the photos of my characters

My characters continue to disorganize themselves and I like them organized.

Some profile pictures for my characters won't load. Every time I click on them they'll be gone, why is it happening? This never happened to me before while I was on the app.

hello, ive been useing mascot for a year now. and it keeps saying no internet access and it keeps saying that for two days straght so i deleted the app then download the app again and normaly things go back to normal if i log back in but then it loads and then resets me back to login in and says there is no internet access, so can u please fix this since i dont use any other chatting app and i love to talk and if i dont i feel upset. also let me know when it gets fixed. -thank u

Hello! I'm a new fan of Mascot (maybe 4 months?) and I LOVEEE this app but it's already been 4 days and the app says there's no connection with the Internet even though there is. I really hope this gets sorted out because it's my favorite app! :(

Dude it’s been two days that the app has been down and no one will email us back, are y’all just not gonna fix yalls app???? Or at least email us with updates?? Please. I exited out of the app because it wouldn’t load and now it’s not letting me back into my account and says that it doesn’t exist when I’ve had the app for almost two years! I’ve never had a different account and I haven’t been able to login for two and a half days! Please fix the issue quickly!

Bro I keep getting the SSL or Like Server connection is bad error Though my internet is good. Please fix it it’s been 3 days.

this bug isn’t intentional, currently Mascot has a server down and the people who are required to fix it aren’t at the moment. it isn’t the developers fault, trust me i am frustrated as well but they gave me an email when i messaged.

This app has been down for over 24 hours and the last couple of updates have made the overall app worse by adding adds after a couple of messages. One of my friends was told by Mascot support that the whole reason why the app is down at the moment is because one of their servers are down, and unfortunately the issue comes from Amazon AWS which is their cloud provider. If they don't fix it on their end first then they can't fix their app. Everyone's chats, accounts and everything else on Mascot is safe and fine, nothing has been deleted. Once they've gotten the server back up and running then everyone should be able to accesss everything as normal. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it soon and that everything can be up and running again soon.

Ive been uding mascot for almost a years and ive never had a problem like this.i try to get on to RP, and nothing loads. Its all blacked out. i can switch between seeing gs and templates, but whats the point if nothing shows up? I cant even look at my characters. Ive reset my phone, and redownloaded the app. Its obviously not me so it has to be something at HQ or something

For those that wanna' roleplay on an app that has no voice feature to maintain their anonymity, you can try Everskies and join a roleplay club. There's also Party In My Dorm. Mascot has been down for 6+ hours now.

Still not working. Still staying in don't have internet access. According to a review, this has been happening since at least the 20th so I'm a bit worried. Is it working for other people or is it just entirely down? Thanks for the update on support, Mackie. That's a little soothing to know.

I’m trying to sign in to get into my my account and the app won’t let me, it keeps saying “the request timed out” and it’s getting really annoying because I use the app to relax from difficult days.

I can’t see my dms every time I go see it it keeps saying it’s an internal error And I logged out and now I can’t log anymore, quite panicking now

The app says there are no Internet even though I do have Internet. I hope in the afternoon the servers will be back. It's such a great app and I enjoy it alot. So thanks for making it and fixing the issue

Nothing is loading and it says "There seems to be no internet access", but I do have internet access and no other app is having connectivity issues. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting cache and data. Now, it won't let me log back in and keeps displaying the same "There seems to be no internet access" at the bottom of the screen.

it says it was an internal server issue so i thought the app was just glitching so i deleted the app and reinstalled. and now it won’t let me log back in. :( it keeps giving me an SS error message. happening to anyone else?

I'm no stranger to having crashes but I've never had a crash so bad that I'm unable to access the app anymore

I have tried to log in into my account with 3 different accounts, tried by google, apple and phone number and all what I get is ‘ couldn’t find a sever with the hostusername ‘ or whatever it was, im so stressed that I won’t be able to load back in and I have tried with 3 different devices!! Did I get banned without even being told why!?

Mascot was great until you all started messing around changing it has been a nightmare have to keep refreshing some time 3 times to see last messages sent to me. Now I can’t even get in I get the message Error a server with the specified host name could not be found I’m lost without my Mascot

Btw so i emailed mascot support and they told me this so if you want to know why the servers are down. We have one server down, and unfortunately the issue comes from Amazon AWS which is our cloud provider. I’m unable to change the colors of individual characters display names and text bubbles and can only change all at ones, which is very frustrating, after searching online I’ve found no tutorials or trouble shooting methods if someone could explain this to be that’d be great

I had an account called @0pt1c4lL0gic and once I deleted the app by accident and re-downloaded it, it put meon oneof my old and deleted accounts. I tried to get back to my old one by deleting the accoubt again, loging out, deleting and re-deleting the app and everything. Please put me on my newest account. Fix this bug.

For some unexplainable reason other people's messages never load and I have to keep refreshing the group chat messages are being sent on. This problem effects not just me, but also several other people I know.

Mascot keeps crashing whenever I make a new profile, check specific DMs, change icons, etc. It also freezes each time.

My ocs are hidden and I don’t know how to unhide them.

The app wont open at all no matter what I try. How can I fix this?

In some servers whenever I click on the character it goes back to a certain character every single time can you please fix that?

Why i restart the app is not working

My deleted characters keep popping up, messages from certain gc’s don’t pop up inside the gc if you’re outside of it (like not talking in it currently and you get a message while not in it and a message is sent while not active in it won’t show up) deleted comments(chat) are still shown even though they ain’t there ( like I deleted a chat inside a group chat it was gone but on the outside it still shows the comment that was deleted) notifications don’t disappear if you seen the message they just stay there and lastly my character pfps keep changing sometimes without me changing them.

Anytime I open the app, it wont load and I cant get to dms, my profile, the home section, or the search bar

Everytime I try and open the dm’s section, my phone will close the app and it won’t work
