Shrines Guide Reviews

ShrinesGuide has so many glitches it doesn’t even work properly. It deselects things that you have selected before if you quit ShrinesGuide . Especially frustrating if you marked a bunch of koroks. Plus, the map for koroks aren’t even the correct locations or some koroks aren’t even on the map at all. Everything is locked behind a pay wall except for shrines. If you want to contact the developers to give feedback. You have to pay for the full version to give some.

ShrinesGuide use to work ok for what it was worth (you can use it for free to find a few things or PAY to unlock all the features that it has in it) but since ShrinesGuide “added” the feature to filter regions, it has been horrible to put it nicely. I have no filter for regions and it will only give me the first area of the game. I try to contact app support and it brings me to linked in that you have to join and pay to contact the people. I have looked through a few reviews and seen I am not the only one with this issue. I would love to email images of the issue to support but can not do so as I said; there isn’t a way. Some people seem to have ShrinesGuide working well in their reviews, so as long as they are honest people and not promoters, ShrinesGuide has good but until I can see it working again; my review will have to stay as it is. It’s good for a map, and to check things off, but the one thing I wish it would add is if I click on a shrine, it tells me how to do it, or how to do the Korok challenge. Also, if I get a chest like the expansion pass, check it off otherwise it just takes up map space. This is just a little nitpicky stuff which is why I gave it three stars plus you have to pay for it. The other one actually includes it.

It works pretty well when it comes to shrines, memories and all that. Until its Korok seeds, it’s unreliable. Some that appear on the actual ingame map don’t show up on this one and the ones that appear on this one are no where to be seen on the map. I got this because I literally have one left to get and it legit feels disappointing when you think you found the last one. But when you make it to the location, the mask makes absolutely no sound. So yeah kinda weird, they should fix that

ShrinesGuide is very useful and helpful for when I need to find things in BOTW. But the reason I only gave it four stars was because I don’t like expansion packs because you have to spend money to get them. But other than that this game is awesome and I highly recommend (if you’re willing to buy the expansion pack) bye!

This is the best app I have found for Breath of the wild! All the Koroks, shrines, towers, tips on how to solve some puzzles, etc.
The only change I would make is to have the locations be a checklist so we can mark off where we have been to get 100%. Having to manually check against the map over and over gets tedious. Having a checkbox for each location in the list would elevate ShrinesGuide to absolute perfection!!!

I got ShrinesGuide because I already finished it the game and I noticed that I haven’t done all the shrines yet. ShrinesGuide is very helpful and useful and I think you guys should get it. Now, the reason I gave it four out of five is because they have like this member accounts kind of thing and you can’t do everything ShrinesGuide provides.

ShrinesGuide is VERY useful for all players looking for that sweet 100% game AND map data completion. HOWEVER, it does NOT earn it's 5th star because there are some features I think deserve to be in ShrinesGuide . For instance, each other the Dog Treasure locations and their contents, a checklist for all the side quests you can get in the game, and a few other features that are found in the "Breath Companion" app. I use BC mostly because it has these features and I would pay for the full app except it's a monthly subscription instead of a one-time purchase. I think the creator of ShrinesGuide should take a look at "Breath Companion" and nab some of those features and keep the one-time purchase to unlock ALL features. This would rightfully earn it's 5th star and be ShrinesGuide for ALL BoTW players, beginner or Pro. Other than the aformetioned missing features, ShrinesGuide is fantastic, even if it is missing a few key checklists. Great job creator!

ShrinesGuide is a must have for any Zelda completionist fan and definitely a good tool to have for BOTW. Started with the free version then if nothing else for help finding all the koroks (and there is a lot) I bought the paid version and haven't looked back since.

First of all, your continual support shows dedication to the game and its fans. Secondly, for older guys like me with a family I don’t have the time to just wander without a guide. This is an amazing resource. I hope you’ll be making a TOTK app sometime in the near future.

I think its well worth to get since if your having trouble finding korok seeds, memories, shrines, and even trying to figure out other things like how much items are, recipes for cooking and exlier making, and many more, i say its well worth it even in master mode

ShrinesGuide is amazing! It really tells you where all the shrines are and is very helpful. I was having trouble finding these shrines but ShrinesGuide helped me a lot! thank you so much. And also I am trying to get some Koroks so I can get them all and find out what happens when you get 1000. I found out and sorry but I’m not gonna spoil. But ShrinesGuide is amazing for tracking these down. I can’t thank you enough for making this. ❤️

This is a great app, tells you so much on every location of the shrines, koroks, stables, and towers. One thing though, can you put the location of each ingredient in the food and recipes section? It would be a great help. Amazing app other than that, I would recommend it

Used Breath Companion for years but now it’s subscription based? On a 4+ year old app? I’m glad it happened because ShrinesGuide is much better anyways. $2 forever for a better and smoother and better looking interface. Make the “switch” hahahahahahahahaha. Seriously though.

BoTW was the first real video game I ever played. I really struggled with everything from the very start, but this little guide made everything a million times nicer!

I love the way it’s set up, having the ability to see only what you want is really lovely, and I didn’t mind paying a small price for the full version.

So happy with ShrinesGuide, truly made my gaming experience that much more enjoyable, and really helped me keep my sanity with all those Koroks!!

ShrinesGuide’s interface is great! The locations are accurate and there’s so much for only 1.99. Not only that but it’s a one time purchase so no messy subscriptions to keep on to. I love that you can mark what you’ve completed as well! This will be super helpful, especially for struggling beginners or a 100% completionist marking down which things they’ve gotten.

I have never reviewed an app before but the most recent update spurred me to action.

This is a great aid for BOTW players. Well organized lists from shrines to Koroks make it easier for completionists like me to keep things organized. Seeing my progress tracked helps remind me where to pick back up when I log back into the game after a long day at work.

And the most recent update makes it easier on my eyes because I don’t mix up shrines/other things from regions that sit close together like I used to.

I’ve logged hundreds of hours in BOTW and I only picked up ShrinesGuide about a year ago. Total game changer, wish I knew about it sooner.

10/10 totally recommend.

Botw is an expansive open world game with many things to collect and secrets to find, ShrinesGuide is a must have if you are trying to complete the game. I recently bought a switch and quickly got lost because the game doesn't give much direction it just allows the player to explore on their own and ShrinesGuide helped me find what I needed to progress in the story.

This companion is amazing. I have one recommendation to make ShrinesGuide better. You could add a checklist of all of the key items that are completely permanent. So for example, “Hestu’s Maracas,” would not be one of the ones you add, but things like the Sheikah Slate, Hestu’s Gift, and other key items that you can’t get rid of are ones that should be on there. Other than that, ShrinesGuide is amazing! Have a great day / night!

I absolutely love ShrinesGuide just a few things there should be quest and I should also be able to pin where I’m going finally I was looking for all the villages where was Tarrytown and goron city anyways I definitely recommend ShrinesGuide
