Have to pay to go back into drawings

I was testing out the app to see if it’s good for illustrating and to explore what else it can do. I quickly noticed lining up different planes is tricky and that there’s not a lot of drawing tools. Stuff I can get past with more practice with the app I’m sure.
What really made me delete the app in less than 5 min was the fact that I accidentally clicked out of my drawing and to get back into it you have to pay $1. It’s not much of a price tag but I don’t agree with the monetization on using the basic functions that the app is supposed to do. It’s like the BWM heated seats all over again, if he hardware/software is already there in the app there’s no reason to hide it behind a paywall.
I paid 5$ to discover nothing works

Purchased, go to start… new button doesn’t work so can’t use it at all. 5$ down the drain. If I could get a refund I found. Very dishonest. I cannot use the app at all. On iPad Pro current gen.
