Toomics - Unlimited Comics Reviews

I downloaded Toomics so I can read a certain BL comic. I had to pay to read most of the chapters, which wasn’t a problem at all. But after finishing the story in less than 24 hours, I find myself not using Toomics after that for the rest of the year. It’s been 7 months since then and I literally found out TODAY that the membership required RECURRING payments. That means I’ve been billed almost 10 bucks for the past 7 months despite me never going on Toomics after using it in May.

Upon reading their FAQ and TOS, it has come to my attention that I won’t ever get my money back simply because I completely read through the same comic in less than 24 hours. I like to think I’m legally supporting the content creators with my contribution but the fact that I barely went on Toomics for the majority of the year is a little... displeasing? I admit that I am to blame for being unaware of my blunder but at the time I signed up for the membership, my only option was to go for the one month plan since that seemed the cheapest. But it seems I misinterpreted it. Maybe to prevent this mistake from happening, the company ought to offer more flexible options like one-time payments to earning a fixed amount of coins like what other companies do...

I had forgotten and entered in my password incorrectly a couple of times. I am not even able to recover or reset it, due to my account being locked. I contact their help center with no help. Only a reply saying my account was flagged due to suspicious activity. Entering my password wrong can be considered suspicious. I’ve read many comments with the similar issues. I know I’m not the only one with this problem.
The only reason I have an issue is because I paid for the VIP subscription membership. Meaning they automatically take money from you every month. And now I can’t even log in.
I understand their concerns about getting their content stollen and reposted. This is an unfair process for both sides. There’s no way to redeem yourself, when they already assumed you were pirating their content.
It’s frustrating especially when I don’t do anything wrong. I hope this flawed system gets fixed.
If people want to know how to cancel their subscriptions, either contact your bank to cancel recurring payments, or go to your PayPal account and do the same. Just take the loss of previous payments if they can’t be refunded, and prevent further payments. Or they will keep taking your money every month. Whoever is in charge needs to fix this.

I first got Toomics because I wanted multiple apps for comics, and there was one comic I loved reading called “I choose you!” Plus I heard good things about Toomics. In my experience lots of the comics had VIP only. I still found a few which you would unlock every week and read them. I usually only check Toomics a few times a month. I went to check on Toomics recently and found almost all of the comics I really liked had become VIP, and I was almost done with them. another point is unlike WEBTOON where everyone gets the episodes of a comic unlocked at the same time, so if you pick up a comic that already has published 50 eps, you can read those 50 until you catch up. I don’t read on Toomics as much so I don’t know if it has contests like WEBTOON but on WEBTOON there’s usually atleast one contest a month where you can earn enough coins to unlock an episode and read ahead. Also everything on WEBTOON you read you can get for free if you wait. I guess the main problem with Toomics is you can get around not using money on it. If your able to pay money for it then overall it’s a fine app, the stories are good it’s just frustrating.

I only recently got into these free comic apps but all of them have no (or had to remove all) NSFW content to appease the wimps at apple. I’m so glad their this app ad was in my YT feed because it’s just what I’ve been looking for...18+ comics done in beautifully drawn images. And the price for VIP membership is VERY reasonable, unlike some apps that want you to pay $5/week to view their regular content. I not a VIP member yet, but I do plan on becoming one.

The only question/concern that I have is from what I’ve seen with the free issues, all lower-regions are CENSORED with a blanked out/white spaces. Top nudity is the only thing it shows. Is this how it is for all your 18+ comics, or is it only because I was reading the free issues and that VIP issues are NOT censored?

So apparently after a update on this app did, they deleted a category called “Free”, so I don’t know why they did that but after reading those comics in my whole summer, they have inspired and made my day just a little better. But now because every this app comic that I liked now costs money, It destroyed my whole months of reading and now has made me more depressed that I am right now. Thir is probably why I like WEBTOON better that what Toomics has given me. I mean it was called VIP for a reason, it was for VIP comics. Sorry creators of the this app app but, Because of this stupid update that has happened I deleted Toomics and I won’t download it again until I would like the free option back. It’s been a good run for my whole 3-4 months of enjoyment, but your not taking 8 or 9 bucks from me just for a month of interesting and cool creators on this app.

I’ve had a this app account for more than a year. At first I didn’t pay much attention to the VIP status or coins needed to read already ended stories. And so I went ahead and started reading about 6 different stories that were updating weekly. I went on a break for a month after following these stories for more than a year and once I reinstalled this app I found that though they hadn’t ended you had to have VIP status to read them. Now I can’t finish them and I’m not getting VIP considering it costs more than Netflix per month. I’ll still give 2 stars because the Authors are good. The main reason people get the VIP is to able to read the sexual content from a browser but since this is Toomics Store I believe your aims should be a little different considering you can’t read those on here.

So I downloaded Toomics in august 2019, signed up with my gmail for the VIP account. I never had issues like a couple days ago. It says somethings wrong with my gmail. I follow the specific instructions to fix the problem and still nothing! I even went to my gmail account to see if Toomics ’s access was removed (because it’s a third party sign in) and it wasn’t. So I don’t know what’s the real issue. Also, the website can’t even load thru safari or chrome to see if I can sign in and the browser says it’s unavailable. I don’t like to waste money and also still be charged every month if I can’t get into my account. It’ll be a real shame if my account was somehow deleted for whatever reason and I don’t have any knowledge to it.

I like that there’s a rating box, but I would love to leave some comments. It always fun to read what people are thinking as well. I want to share my thoughts on the story line and see what people have to say about it. There some story where I want to suggest a sequel to it.

Edit tips:

I love to reread and take my time looking at the artwork put into it. I appreciate the author & illustrator, however there were some minor mistakes that I would like to suggest. Also, some of the reading were missing certain words and it didn’t flow right. I would like to leave some edit comments for the artist and author.

Family & Adult Content:

Both are great. However, I purchased the VIP to remove the censor on the adult content. Appartently, it doesn’t do that. I don’t mind how it is now. But if its continued to be censor then why do we have to pay?

It’s awesome to read these comics but the major problem is the “vip” option. Sure pay gain unlimited access cancel anytime but I refuse to pay to read. The comic I want to read only has two chapters unlocked while the rest is full “vip” plus the I checked the date the 3rd chapter update was last year and you still need a “VIP”! I would honestly deduct more stars but at least some chapters are unlocked but still not cool with “vip” option
Part 2 of review and I’m annoyed, why? Same as before VIP? Just one chapter left to read on a comic I’m reading since it started and that last chapter requires what the “VIP”. There is no other way to read it asides from the pay-to-read option which you know where I stand in that opinion.

Don’t be fooled by the 12+ rating on Toomics Store. this app is an adult service as its main site features a hefty amount of adult content.

This service is... decent, if annoying.

The service that you get with your paid subscription is bs though. All adult content below the waist is censored out.

That being said, some of the stories in this are nuts and emotional roller coasters that I’d recommend to anyone. The first one being Asura. A wonderful action comic that features no adult content and has some REALLY good concepts.

The next one is called “The Sharehouse”. An adult comic with a gobsmackingly good story. The best way to describe it would be “Come to fap stay for story”

The incredible stories personally make me say that it’s worth it however it’s a paid subscription with censorship on adult content that you ARE PAYING TO GET.

Either way, the stories make it worth the money, the adult content (that is only available via the browser based site) is a bonus, but it’s still very VERY annoying and im hoping this changes.

I love Toomics and their comics, I usually long into my vip account on the web for the adult comics. However I remember that my vip was renewed yesterday, and so I was in the middle of reading a comic and it kicked me out because I didn’t have vip on? Then I went back to Toomics and it told me to purchase a vip membership, so I tried to and it said I already had one and it would renew on the 22nd of June, but then it said the purchase failed. On Toomics Store it says that I have the subscription to the Vip, and I’ve tried clicking the restore button and it won’t work. I’m very confused and now am no longer able to read the comics I loved dearly.

I Think Toonmic is a great platform for Adult manga and Comics, but Toomics forces the user to have VIP Access to view all of the content. However, Toomics doesn’t have the option to buy coins like on the website. Also the rate at which content is uploaded on the toonmic platform is somewhat reduced. I found content on the website version than Toomics itself. Toomics has the potential to be really good, if Toomics could give the user the same experience as it would be if you use the website.

Sure Toomics has little kinks here and there, but who are us readers kidding. We get provided top tier comics for free, and for the VIP either pay or if you want to watch it badly enough, then just look it up through a internet source. While other sources are available, I highly recommend using VIP because the authors usually make a living off their work. I get it. Some people might not be able to afford, but that is where the third source sites come in to play.

P.S. highly recommend Warble, Leviathan, and Ultimiter

this app is a great app, and I see what the goal of Toomics was, but it didn’t hit the spot as it was supposed too.

this app VIP membership helps influence writer’s continue to write story’s and helps Toomics as a whole. I understand the very well, but maybe it would be better to reconstruct it a little for the people that don’t have enough money or just won’t spend money like me.

Just to do it like Webtoon, and instead of buying a membership to read the rest of a comic, just make a currency, that buyable for ongoing comics. and for shows that ended, should be free to read.

Making it this way will influence writers to continue to make more comics, this will also be a good way to get more people to buy the currency. With the membership still up, people have decided to delete Toomics instead of paying for the membership.

This is just my opinion tho

While Toomics has many amazing looking comics to offer readers, you only have access to the first 3-4 episodes before it’s VIP only. And every comic that isn’t strictly vip seems short. I started a series called Annoying Alice which was a completely free comic, I got to issue 95 and stopped reading for about a month. I came back to finish the last five issues and the whole series was made VIP only. So I couldn’t even finish it. I completely understand that you pay to support the artists, and being an artist I am behind this idea. But I believe WEBTOON does it better by allowing anyone to read the comics for free but requiring payment to have earlier access to newer issues.

I used your website more than a month and I really like it... So, I downloaded Toomics and payed for a month recently... Only 2 days spent..... And what I found is in here your family mode thing can’t be disable.... What is the meaning of that??????

It is pretty straight forward. An app to browse and read this app catalogue of webcomics/webtoons that is legal, supports the artists and authors. It operates much like their browser version with favorites and recently read more easily accessible. However… Toomics is locked in Portrait mode, no Landscape view; something their website provides. Toomics has restricted content over iOS policies. The website does not. So the more immersive read from Toomics works in portrait mode for All Ages content. Toomics is obligatory. No wonder it is not even promoted on the website. Great stories on this app, including the adult webcomics. But Toomics isn’t going to be of any help.

I saw and add for this app and I enjoyed a lot of the apps content and I was okay with buying a year membership so I don’t have to worry about it that much. But when I went to the page to buy the service it said that the severs were down. So I waited a few day and see if it was better and then 2 days turned into 3 days and three days turned into a week. It’s probably something on my end or on there end but I honestly just wanna get started.

I downloaded Toomics to read some of the interesting stories that were in the ads. I could never find any of them and the search feature seems to be somewhat broken. I’m paying the sub fee and still can’t ever find any of the ones that come up on the ads. The stories I can find however are pretty good and the experience overall for Toomics . I’ll raise my rating if they inhide these stories and make the search feature easier to work with.

I got Toomics and started reading a few free series that only go to it. The problem I find with Toomics is that when someone reads a free series to the end but off by a page or 2 can’t finish reading that series because it become paid for content. An example would be ranger dolls. I was reading it till it’s last to pages and then the whole series became a subscription series and I could not finish it. Now the only reason why Toomics is getting 2 stars would be because of its interesting series’s other then that it needs improvementents

I get the fact that the authors need to be paid for their hard work and Toomics itself needs profit so I'm not here to complain about that (I'm not really financially able to buy the VIP or i would, i know its cheap but I cant really do away with my money like that when i can use it for more important things)
I've read most of the free comics (even some in genres I'm not too interested in) and there's not that many in there. It would be nice if there were more
I wouldn't mind if there wasn't more anyhow. It was just a suggestion <3

My only real issue is when I use Toomics my account won’t stay logged in. I still get to read the vip since I have a subscription but when I try to favorite something I have to log in every time.

Also when I switch between web browser and app some of the comics aren’t showing under the favorites. I know the 18+ won’t show but even some of the family friendly ones won’t show.

For all the people who paid for a membership The reason why you can’t use it is because every time you go onto Toomics it logs you off your account.

I love Toomics but I don’t want to have to keep logging in every time I get back on Toomics and a lot of people think they lose their memberships when they really don’t they’ve just been locked out of their accounts

So I bought a 3 month membership for this app and it didn’t work. I feel I lost money but I couldn’t remember if I was logged into my account or not so I bought a one month subscription and that didn’t work. Are you guys a legit business or are you faking people out of there money. If you can resolve my issue I would just like a refund for the one month. I love Toomics and want to keep using it but with me not ring able to read what’s the point.

The best app ever!! What I also like about Toomics it’s episodes are short to read, colors and drawings are above and beyond, and I don’t get bored because it’s per episode, which means I can read 1 episode per day, and if I want to read more, 1 episode in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Thanks a lot and keep the updates coming.

The webtoons on this app are amazing even the ones that are in family safe mode. If I may suggest an app update though...I travel a lot for my job and I like to read these. Is it possible to have a way to download a series to read without being connected to the internet?

The marvel comic app I have allows me to download the comics as long as I'm a paying member. Perhaps this is an option for this app as well

Ive had this new bug with the update where every time i try to read a new chapter on aye comic it signs me out of Toomics and then i have to sign back in just to read a comic, otherwise if i don't it says i have to download Toomics ( which i already have obviously) or buy a vip membership. Could i get some feedback on this? Will update to 5 stars when fixed
